A couple of days ago, I blogged about the new LeLutka Reflectons Eyes. I’m really sorry to everyone that couldn’t find it at LeLutka, but they’re finally out now! I think these are just dazzling.
Another LeLutka item I picked up last week was this awesome Jeniffer hairstyle, no doubt inspired by Jennifer Grey’s curly ‘do from the ’80s! I remembered watching Dirty Dancing on TV when I was a kid, I didn’t really pay much attention to the plot but I thought her dancing was cool.

Tiny Bird has just released two new hairstyles with all new hair textures! I really like the clever bird’s nest packaging (pose included) that ‘breaks’ an egg when you touch it to deliver the hair color pack.
I am wearing Tiny Bird’s ‘Green Gloves’ and ‘Laundry Day Hair’ both in Bistre Brown. The Green Gloves style is without hoodie, and Laundry Day Hair is a collaboration with Reek to match the Laundry Day Hoodie.
Reek‘s Laundry Day Hoodie includes Hoodie HUD to change all sculpted attachments to 20 pre-selected colors & textures. The hoodie can also be worn down, or up and pair with other hairstyles, too.
I’m playing around the CreamShop sim with Glitterati‘s ‘Rainy Days’ pose set & color-changeable umbrella. There are 10 poses included in this pack, it’s pretty awesome!

I feel like Polly Pocket in this shade of Blonde hair.
This is the newest Cookie style from Hairy Situations, the newly formed brand to replace House of Heart and Bewitched (by Sheltered Heart). I wear a wide range of Blonde hair colors, but this is NOT what I would consider Blonde, unless I was going for that plastic doll look.
Oh, and I don’t mean to be a hater, cos this hair actually looks pretty good in a better texture (see Bitter Chocolate below):
Am I wrong here? Blondies in SL – would you wear this shade of Blonde??? I wouldn’t on a daily basis unless it was part of a costume or a themed outfit requiring LEMON YELLOW hair.
If you are a fan of Gala’s Sunny skins, you’ll love Sunny (version 2) that’s coming very soon to Curio. Sunny is a special Gala skin because it has dimples! I think this may be the only skin from Gala with dimples, so they’re one of my favorites since dimples are rare in SL (I can’t think of another skin with dimples as nice as these).
Sunny (v2) has 6 makeups x 2 versions each, each skin tone includes a light and dark version, and freckles! Shown below are 12 of the new makeups, they’re totally different from v1!

Winter is not over yet, so these sexy little Apollo18 jackets from Sweetest Goodbye are just perfect to keep the cold weather away. I’m not wearing anything underneath the jacket cos I’m admiring my cleavage in 3-D, this is why I looove sculpted tops, you can actually peer inside and cam all around. The jacket is all sculpted and includes cuffs on the glove layers — so you can pair it with ANYTHING in your inventory (jackets, shirts and undershirts), cos it does not take up a layer.

These adorable new Whippet & Buck ‘Rachelle Cropped Bustiers’ are great for adding a little punch of color to your outfit. They come in all layers so they’ll be super easy to pair over or under anything. Usually ‘sexy’ tops like these are not made with such a feminine floral print, so it’s a refreshing to have something that bares a lot of skin but also looks classy.
The bustiers are available in 7 different color choices, my favorite are Cherry Blossom (Pink) and Electric (Blue).

These Gos DARE Booties by Gospel Voom are totally fantastic and I’m sure you’ve seen them everywhere. Each pair includes a HUD to change toe nails color, and match skin tone. The booties are also scripted to show/hide foot, change colors on all components, etc. But my favorite feature is the ‘G’ logo! Whenever I put it on, I just think oh, it’s G for Gogo!

I’ll admit it, I love to tweak my avatar. I like tweaking my friends too, if they’ll let me tweak their shape (and sometimes without their permission too, like that one time I gave Wilma bigger and perkier boobs. And a few times after that, I tweaked other stuff but she noticed and yelled at me).
Over the past 3 years, I have made subtle but noticeable changes to my shape, to go with the skins I’m wearing or just to get bigger in size. My waist use to be a scary 35! I wouldn’t wear a shape that small now, but I liked it then.
This past week after reading all the gossip about Heidi Montag’s new face, I really think that the appeal of SL for many is the ability to have our sliders exactly how we want it. If you wanted more boobs, more height, more pouty lips, it’s just a click away.
Thankfully in SL, we can tweak as much as we want an it doesn’t cost a dime or possible complications. So happy tweaking!
What about you, do you like to tweak your face or has it remain unchanged over the years?
P.S., I’m keeping my ‘before’ face, but I like the ‘after’ too!

I’m incredibly picky when it comes to my avatar’s eyes! They have to be the right color, size, the whites can’t have too many red veins, on and on and on. In the past few years, I’ve only found a few brand that I could wear and recommend.
These new LeLutka Reflections Eyes are the perfect size for my preference and the colors are stunning. The Reflections Eyes comes in 10 different colors (shown below). Maybe you’ll find your new color from one of these? I love the ‘Mist’ green.

Lots of people ask me why I don’t blog (insert random brand) and usually I have really good reasons (see answers 1-4 in the poll below) why I don’t feature them at all, or rarely. I do have the occasional brands that fall under the “I don’t blog them at all cos they’ve pissed me off” but that option is not available for the poll below.

Donna Flora has just released a ton of new dresses and outfits! I have a soft spot for “floral” accented items, so I’m featuring two of my favorite dresses from the new collection.
I’m wearing the short Milli pink dress with a matching hat. I couldn’t find hair that would fit underneath the hat (but I think it’s worn without hair), so I wore it alone and it looks pretty good that way too!
The dark purple & red Romina dress includes a matching hat, and is simply breathtaking.
You’ll be able to make a great statement in both of these dresses, which is what I love about most Donna Flora outfits, there’s nothing like it on the grid.

This new Laya hair from Exile is only available at Rezzable’s “Future is Now” event. The hairstyle can be worn with the braids attachment or without. Personally, I love it both ways, but the braids gives it that wild & messy look.

Do you notice something? Today my accessories, shoes, and dress matches perfectly well. This may be a Juicybomb first!! I’m usually pretty tragic when it comes to matching everything, so I’m quite happy to say that this was by chance since I just wore everything that’s new in my inventory. Sometimes I get lucky!
I am wearing the PACADI Jasha Amba Silk Dress in Light Blue and matching Pacadi Yfke Bag. I’m also wearing SiSSi’s Cutie Flower Pink Mint necklace and Hays Uriza’s Ellice Pumps.
I love the new Ellice heels from Hays Uriza, they’re scripted to change heel metals, show/hide jewels, change jewels color, show/hide leg warmers, and TONS more. These shoes are worth it.
