I’m hesitant to use the word ‘diva’ here to describe the above picture, but yes, we are inspired by RL music divas! I’ve recently stumbled upon DIRAM, and I think it’s a fun lil’ store if you’re into dressing up all sexy-diva-like! The outfits were not cheap, but sooo worth it cos it’s dead-on for each celebrity look. I loved my Britney one!

Someone on my plurk timeline said that in SL, avatars can choose what they want to look like yet so many choose the skanky whore look, or something like that. I should be ashamed of myself, but I like my skanky look. But there’s a fine line between skanky cute and skanky whore, I try not to cross it, but sometimes I think that I may be crossing over to the skanky whore line a bit (and I like it).

It took me awhile to dig through my inventory for something to match Luck Inc’s newest release, the Ruffled Miniskirt, but I think I’ve put together a look that I really like.

After the craziness that was SLDD yesterday, Truth has released all the hairstyles at his main store. I’m wearing 3 of the girls styles – Milli, Elysium, and Chalice. Not featured here is a men’s styled called Ben. Some day when Boy Gogo gets an upgrade, I might feature the hairstyle here :p

SLDD was crazy this morning. I’ve only bought two SLDD items ever, one was a pose set from ages ago, and this new Chalice hair from Truth. If you were one of oh.. 500? or more? to snag this hair fatpack at $450, LUCKY YOU!! It was worth the lag.

I’ve done nothing productive today except make this Barbie Makeup on the new SL 2.0 tattoo layer. I’m quite happy with it, even though I drew that eye makeup with my mouse. I totally respect skin makers for the wonderful work they do, cos this isn’t easy at all!

Megg Demina, creator of Chapeau tres Mignon, has created a wonderful exhibit titled Heroes of Fashion, to showcase items inspired real-life designers, Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy. All works on displayed can be purchased and worn — such as this gorgeous Philip Treacy Flower hat.

I am pairing the PT Flower Hat with the Eden dress in Black from Donna Flora (by Squinternet Larnia, who is also one of my personal “heroes” of SL fashion).

**important info: I am using the new St. Patrick’s Day photo effects from Picnik.com to tint my photos!! I will be abusing this Emerald tint a lot. I love the slight yellow-green tint on my otherwise very bright & white images.

LeLutka sent 5 gift makeups to group members. Join the LeLutka group in-world to get these! Oh yeah, they only work with the new Second Life 2.0 viewer, because these are makeups on the tattoo layer. I wore them with the Lelutka Ife Base skin, and they work terrifically!!

I wore the teal eyeshadow on Pink Fuel’s skin and it works pretty well here too. YAY!

BOOM has just released the Hope’s Tank top and matching Wei Shorts in a bunch of colors!! I’m wearing some from the Pastels pack and they’re so pretty. What I like about these two pieces is that they come with sculpted attachments that are easy to resize and they give it a more 3-D and realistic look. The Hope’s Tank top includes a sculpted bottom that has White lace or Black lace option. The Wei shorts includes the sculpted White ties, with a Plain, White Stripe or Black Stripe version.

The photos were taken at MALT’s lil park area. I looove having Khea as my neighbor, her sim has lots of scenic photo areas.

Exile has just released 3 sexy new hairstyles!! I’m loving these long locks and I think they really show off the new textures!! I’m wearing Odette, Cassie, and Lucia in Chestnut Brown. There are so many new Brown shades to choose from, but I settled on this Chestnut because it works perfectly well with LeLutka’s dark brows.

Friday released a new hairstyle this week that’s just adorable. I’m wearing the Happy Blond texture but I looove the name of all the other Blondes too.

I’m also wearing the new Friday Sweet.Heart Dress in Citrine. This shade of Yellow is very bright & sunny. I don’t wear it too often, but I wanted to give it a try and see if I could make it work. The sculpted skirt has a great shape that reminds me of flower petals.

How do you get me to show up to places? Mention gifts! :P

LeLutka had a Red Event and gave away tons of Red colored goodies! I’m horrible at showing up for things, but did manage to dash in at the last few minutes. I’m wearing one of the gifts, I think it’s suppose to be a shirt but I don’t really like pants so I’m wearing it as a very short dress. Even though I’ve declared today to be Pants-less Day, I am wearing panties here (you just can’t see it).

My bikini, shorts & shoes are all from Surf Co! I’m loving the Shack Shorts which includes sculpted prims that are mod but also scripted to resize. The shorts have such a low waist that the Moana Bikini peeks out from beneath, SO SEXY! All Surf Co separates pairs so well together, I really like being able to mix-and-match.

I love playing around with skin prototypes because I can drive creators crazy with suggestions. This is the Molly skin prototype from KA Designs. I think it’ll be one of the best faces yet, because it has gorgeous & subtle overall shine.

I am wearing Exile’s Giselle hair with all new Chestnut texture and the OMFG Raven dress in Cerise.

LeeZu has just released this new Vienna dress in six colors. I’m wearing the White, Pink and Black, cos the headband on my new Truth Nadia hairstyle matches perfectly. I love when two different creators have similar color palettes, it’s so easy to accessorize!

Here’s a quick tip for when you’re wearing this Vienna dress. The top is a sculpted attachment, so you’ll either need to stretch to fit, or to make it easy, shrink your boobs. I chose the latter, because I liked how the straps fit on my shoulders, and I knew that stretching it would make the prim too loose around my torso. Soooo, I shrunk my normally size 60 boobs to a VERY SMALL size 23. I don’t recommend that ANYBODY wear 20 boobs unless you’re a guy! Anyways, that’s an easy fix, and the dress still looks great.

I’m pairing the dress with the new Bikers Reloaded boots from Redgrave! If you were a fan of these, they now include studs in Bronze and Silver. I’m wearing White, Smoke, Caramel, Brown and Black. I love the shape on these, and the textures but I did NOT like that everything is set to full-bright. I’m wearing full-bright here but if I were to wear these in-world, I would un-check the full-bright box first. Thankfully, the boots are modifiable so you can do this if full-bright is also not your thing.
