I like big boobs

in What I think

26 vs 50

Left: 26 size boobs | Right: 60 size boobs

“As much as I enjoy making fun of the size of my own chest, I find that the humor in that phrase in poor taste. My breasts are size 26 and I’m certain that I’m not the only one with breasts that size or smaller.” – blog reader comment

A reader left the comment above and so I decided to try size 26 on Gogo, just to see if it’s as “FLAT” as I thought. When you’re looking from the front view (like the picture above), thanks to the magic of cleavage shading it doesn’t look so bad. I thought to myself that it was kind of nice, I might even enjoy wearing boobs that small until……

26 vs 50

I turned to the side. This side view is not flattering. WHERE ARE MY BOOBS? That’s my reason for making the comment about how only guys should wear size 20 boobs. It’s not meant as an insult, it just looks “OFF” unless you’re  a) a very small avatar b) a man 3) a kid avatar. :P

In a virtual world where we can go as big or as small as we want, I’m going to indulge in having size 60 boobs, even though, really, I would not mind 80 LOL. Maybe next time.. :P

I used to have big boobies in SL, but since I discovered how cute it’s with small ones and it suits me better I don’t go big so often anymore. But then problem with the smaller sizes in SL is that the breasts has such ugly shape. It has no shape until you go big and then they’re like all round anyway.
I wish they could fix a bit of a nicer shape, heh. It”d make both smaller and bigger ones look better.

I have had mine somewhere between 30 and 50 for the most part… large breasts get distinctively ugly at a certain point, looking completely unnatural… I agree with B, LL needs to really finally take a new look at Avatar meshes. I’d suggest they allow the doubling of mesh complexity to, most modern video games do 4 or 5 times the detail of SL meshes.. Though SL still has rendering problems with rendering details from five years ago…

Oh I should note… part of Emerald Viewers ‘breast physics’ does actually seem to help make them look correct for a wider range of sizes… Not sure why…

I usually have mine between 50 and 55. Too small looks weird from the sides, I definitely agree with Gogo on that. The front looks fine because of the shading on the skin but from a profile view.. almost flat-chested. Too large though however tends to make the breasts blocky.. the verticies of the mesh extend outward because with more space to cover, there is more space between the points and they stick out more. I really wish LL would redo part of the mesh on the breasts, maybe add more verticies/points to accommodate for larger sizes and stretching instead of staying fixed on one size range. An update to the shape and options on the EA window might be nice too, because I’ve noticed also that even the size 60 breasts, look huge from the front but are average/proportional size from the side. It would be great to be able to customize the shape and fullness more, instead of just gravity, size and cleavage.

IMO behind and front has to match or else the avatar looks od. I dont care if boobies are smaller or larger as long as it does not look like the the avatar will fall back on the couch or trip over

Ah, the intricacies of boobage. I say “to each her own” and leave it at that.

What you seem to not realize, Juicy, is like what boobies rock said. You decidedly reduce the size of your breasts yet retain the rest of the proportions (for size 60).

Your comparison and evaluation could be much better if you went all out to test your theory properly before making some sort of self-serving judgment.

i currently rock a 67+ chest and it looks good on me because i have a glamazon avie thats huge already so, it really all depends on the proportions of the overall avie.

anyway so long as youre happy with your avies chest whooo caaressss i personally dont go camming everyone elses boobs to see who is flat and who is blocky LOL

btw gogo you always look nice <3

To each their own I guess. I’m not a mosquito bites girl in RL, I have back-breaking honeydews. :/ But I like being curvy and I love it when female figures lean toward celebrating their curves than going for the gaunt boyish looks that some fashion mags tend to emulate.

I do see the emanciated avatar trend is more predominant as far as fashionista bloggers go. I honestly don’t like the twiggy body shapes, it’s an artistic cartoon definitely, but just not my thing when I want to make a virtual rep of my fleshy self.

I did have a more petite avie in the past, with 25 size tatas. Wearing shirts with logos on the front was much easier, zero distortion. But that was back in 2008, I think. When I tried the shape on again last week, it was a shock for me to see how twiggy/lanky it was compared to my current shape.

It just goes to show that the shapes we mold ourselves into is purely subjective. There is no universal wrong or right about it. And despite our opinions now, we are all just as capable of going 180 on those preferences in the future.

Yay free will.

Thought experiment time, maybe. Say I post “I like my hand sized at 10 or less” but give you no more info about my shape. You put your hand size at 10 and think it looks silly. Maybe you’re also 20% larger-framed than I am, so your size 20 hands look silly on me. Whose hand size is really silly? No one’s, because they’re both proportionate to our shapes. That’s all there is to this.

Size 10 hands is actually OK :) The Love Soul prim nails recommend size 20 hands, which I think is a pretty good average, I tend to go even smaller. I’ve seen size 40 hands, they’re huge!

Good work missing Iris’s point. :/ To me this blog post is like saying “people with fat avatars look off” or “people with dark skinned avatars look off”.

Gogo sometimes I wonder if you’re playing a character– like you’re the Stephen Colbert of SL fashion blogging. Comments like that are what make me think that– in my heart I don’t want to believe that that was a serious rebuttal.

Did that part go over your heads. She already stated small breasts look good on certain size avatars.

I admit I like having some boobs on my girlie as well! I used to have them at about 68. But I got tired of them consuming some hairs (namely my favorite braid from Truth) so I sized them down to 54 when I retouched my character last time. She’s also a bit more petite than before so they still look pretty natural on her. :)

well, Gogo, i’m glad SL allows you the opportunities to feed your ego.

I’ve been fluctuating between larger and natural. I’m currently larger at a 70 but I’m thicker and curvier than most female avies in sl. I’ll usually adjust depending on the shirt I’m wearing as well. Some tops make them look ginormous and silly so I adjust till I’m happy. Rock ‘em big or small, but just rock em’ :)

True, editing a smaller breast & not simply scale down makes a big difference. The issue I’ve run into is that almost all female clothing & skins cater to pneumatic bosoms. I recently made a young adolescent version of my adult shape (my adult shape has around size 50 bosoms, no larger) and little Sylvan has itty bitty titties. I’m still using the same skin, which is far too shaded for a small breast so I simply wear clothing that covers the shading when I use that shape. Also, my adult SL bosoms are not round but sloped so they don’t look as large in profile as they do from the front.
