Surf Couture had a pretty big release recently!! I love these new romantic and flowy Sway Sundresses, and matching Spring Fling Wedges. They’re super easy to mix-and-match cos the colors complement each other so well.
I’m especially happy that the Sway Sundresses has not one, but THREE attachments for the skirt, ensuring that no matter which way you move, your leg does not poke through the sculpted prim skirt. The skirt includes a large Skirt Base prim, and two smaller Skirt Leg prims, this is genius!
To complete my look, I paired the Sway Sundress with Surf Couture’s new Brass Rings Leather Belts. The belt has great textures and fits pretty well, I did not have to resize at all, yay.

About 3 weeks ago, I blogged the FrontKnotShirt from AOHARU. They were only available in floral patterns & plain at the time, but now they available in PLAID pattern too!!! YESSSSSSS………!! These are so sexy, I love how it opens up to reveal a lot of cleavage but does *not* show nipples! I threw on the bra today cos it matched the top, but you can totally wear it bra-less.
AOHARU also released this NoCollar jacket, and it’s sooo sexy. The jacket opens up in the front baring ALL, so you should definitely wear something underneath! I love this jacket cos the sculpted attachments are so well done, and fits my avatar with minimal adjustments. I just shrunk my boobs by 10 points here from 60 to 50, and everything fits like a glove.

Isabeal Jupiter asked me to submit a head shot for her blog project showcasing beautiful avatars around SL. Normally I’m too lazy to participate in anything, but I actually did this!!
Normally I would have used LeLutka skin, cos that’s what my avatar wears a lot but I felt like wearing Laqroki’s Pearl skin today. I feel like my avatar is not defined by a single skin. At any given moment, I am obsessed with several skins at once.
But for today, this is me.
I’ve known Itny Lisle of FreshTrash for years, since she opened her first shop in SL. I’ve always admired her style, and her “fresh” approach to things. FreshTrash released this Rope Flower Headband recently, and it’s scripted to change 4 different textures. I like how well it works with most hairstyles and flowers are a great way to dress up any hair.

iheartsl.com syndicates a lot of sl blogs, 806 to be exact! I’ve noticed that when the site is syndicating this many blogs, it will experience occasional server hiccups (blogs not updating, database errors, etc.), so I’ve recently added a policy to remove blogs that have not updated for 60 days or more. This has reduced the number of inactive blogs quite a bit — but it’s totally screwing up my “syndicated blogs” count.
When I checked in the site dashboard, the total is 1,161, which is NOT an accurate number. I think that number reflects the numbers of blogs (links) that has *ever* been syndicated. A more accurate number is 806 — which is reflected on the blogroll. I copy & pasted my entire blogroll links into Excel to count ‘em.
With that said, I think that iheartsl.com is the “largest” community blog feed, simply because it’s syndicating the most.
Fashionplanet, which has been around forever, is only syndicating 583 blogs (I counted!) but a lot of people still read it out of habit.
Iheartsl.com has just passed the 2 year mark (in January) and it’s still going strong. I’ve had a lot of issues with it, but I’m really happy that I have my server problems under control now (for the most part).

I’m so happy artilleri released the Nautical Set for 50L Friday this week. I’ve been dying to wear this windblown hairstyle from Fascino for several days now, but couldn’t get inspired until I saw the cute little bikini.
P.S., I love love love this Pearl skin from Laqroki. It has just the right amount of shine on the skin, and so perfect for a beachy inspired look.

New Truth hairrrrrrrr! These two hairstyles includes an attached Daisy flower scripted to change 15 colors and an “invisible” option if you want to wear the hair without the flower. I like hair with flowers attached, so I won’t have to waste a precious head attachment point!

This new Lily hair from I Love Olive is messy, sexy, and has long wavy locks, totally reminds me of beach hair.
Usually I don’t rave about new hair designers much, cos most of them are not very good, but I think I Love Olive has a lot of potential. I would recommend some flexi prims in future styles to add some movement to the hair, and also work on the sculpted shapes so they’re smoother. Since I don’t make hair, I can’t really say exactly how to fix all these issues, but they’re just recommendations to add even more ‘wow’ to their existing styles.
This is a brand to keep an eye on! :)

I really like being surprised with gifts like this, even though I have no space for it in my house. I’ve decided to make a spot for it on my beach, right on the grass. I think it’s perfect here. My island has tons of furniture outdoors cos I haven’t found homes for them, so I try to blend them in with the landscaping.

Typically I don’t think of Fishy Strawberry as a place for skins because the clothes comes first, but Fae Eriksen has been working so hard to release this new Natalie face, and I think that she has improved a lot as a skin maker. The face is pretty cute and the skins are available in a ton of options!! Hair base, cleavage and two different brows per makeup.

Morantique has just released the stunning Alice in Wonderland Skybox. I’m so in awe of how Mo Miasma was able to capture that magical world in such a small space. The skybox is sold fully furnished or empty, so you can add your own touches to it.
The Skybox has two different rooms separated by a door. They both have similar decorations but the color scheme is different.
I like that there are a lot of different props to play with in each room. I’m posing in front of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party set and the Fata Morgana Painting Easel set (pose included).

I would have liked the straps to cover my nipples, but since this is on a layer, it’s non-adjustable. People who want a more modest look can add a bra underneath, but I find it pretty hot just the way it is!
