Happy Memorial Day everyone!! I took my baby out for a stroll at the New York sims to try some of the newly released Zooby Baby products. I just love how interactive the baby is, and Zooby is constantly releasing new products for the baby to encourage parents (owners) to play with their baby more often.
This is the Zooby Baby Lite Pink Snugseat. The snugseat is scripted to use with the Baby and Newborn (to be released soon). You can also change the look of it by having the Hood on or off, the straps on or off, and also includes an AO Walk for male and female.
Remember the new Maternity shirts I mentioned yesterday? I’m wearing one today. Mine is the Tummy Teeze Pink shirt that says ‘Shopping for Two’ – how adorable! I even dressed the baby similar to me, in the Butterfly Jeans outfit. You can find a nice assortment of clothing for the baby at at Zooby Baby – I love that the baby can have her own closet full of clothes! :)
I also fell in love with the Zooby Baby Lite Pink Pram Carriage. I had a stroller before but this one has a new Pink color that I love.

The Zooby Baby Lite Pink Pram Carriage is scripted to work with the Baby and Newborn, you can have the Shade Up or Shade down, Straps Off or Straps On, and also have the baby be Awake or in the Sleep option. It’s *completely* interactive and even includes an AO Walk for male and female.

I saw many people decorating this lovely skybox and didn’t really know what to do with mine until I remembered that I needed to set up a new Baby’s room. Since I moved to my homestead, I had to sacrifice a couple of homes, so I didn’t have any space in my existing beach house for a baby’s room at all. This skybox is fabulous, and is just the perfect size for all of my Zooby Baby’s furniture.
I paid a visit to Zoobyville recently and purchased my baby a new bathing suit! While I was there, I noticed a fabulous new line of Maternity wear, which I will feature in a separate entry soon.
Zooby Baby lovers will be happy to know that I have info from creator Carrie Tatsu that a newborn will be released very soon. How exciting!!!!! My baby is totally getting a new sister :P
In the mean time, please enjoy some fabulous baby pictures. My friends are split into two groups, some of you adore the babies and have one yourself, and some of you think I’m weird. But you know what? You cannot deny their cuteness!!
Atomic‘s Stumblebum item is awesome!! It’s called the Summertime skirt but it may as well be called “Gogo’s favorite tutu skirt” cos it is! I’m in SLove! It’s only $100L and this color is an exclusive item, available only until June 4th.
I tried to find the top worn in the vendor ad but I couldn’t find that exact one, so I purchased a different one (in a similar color).
The Exile skin that I’ve been teasing for awhile now is almost ready. It’s called Chloe, and the final skin is beautiful, I have warm fuzzy feelings about this skin. It’s youthful and very wearable.
Bare Rose is so cheap and awesome that sometimes I wonder why I don’t shop there more often. I guess it’s because they don’t have a subscribeomatic to alert people about new releases? I usually get my Bare Rose news when I’m reading blogs or whenever I think to visit the sim, which only happens when once in a long while since Bare Rose is also famous for the lag! Thankfully, there’s the official Bare Rose website where customers can peruse new and old releases and also use the direct teleport link for each item.
I was in search of an outfit to match Zaara‘s newest illaida Mojri shoes so I looked around the Bare Rose website and spotted the Myra Dress, which is gorgeous in-world, and it’s only $130L for all colors!
The Myra dress includes a gorgeous sculpted top (dress), white capri pants, sculpted sleeves (not worn), a bracelet, and comes in Pink, Black, and White.
Aura is Lyriope’s second skin release, so I promised Ai Baroque I would take that into consideration when reviewing this skin. However, she has nothing to worry about, as this skin is very good and is already prettier than lots of skins from more seasoned skin creators.
When I try on a skin, it’s either “pretty” or it’s not, and then I move on. This skin is pretty. The face is youthful, fresh, has nice skin textures & tone and is realistic.
Aura is available in 18 makeups (lots of choices, but can be overwhelming) and Light and Dark eyebrows. I’m wearing the Pale skin tone below:
This face is absolutely beautiful, and the body is alright. There are things I would change, like more boobs shading and different torso shading (I prefer a more toned look), but that’s all personal preference stuff. You should totally demo for yourself and decide if this skin is for you, so I won’t post a nekkie pic today :P
Since I have a reputation of being a bit of a tough skin critic (but I’m really nice!!!), I will tell you one detail that bugs me about Aura.
I noticed right away that the ear is a lot brighter and actually a slightly different skin tone than the face. This may not be the case on ALL skin tones, but it was quite noticeable on the one I wore – Pale.
I think the ears are often overlooked but it’s such an important detail because I take lots of close-up pictures of my avatar’s face — the ear has to blend in well with the rest of the face.
Considering that this is Lyriope’s second skin, I think that this is a minor detail if you’re into the rest of the skin.
Truth – Darla | Larissa | Eloise (in Swedish Blonde)
These three new hairstyles from Truth are stunning, and of course I’m wearing my favorite Swedish Blonde. I get lots of Google searches to my site for “swedish blonde” and I hope they’re not disappointed when they get here! Hi guys, I’m not actually from Sweden but my avatar is Blonde and wearing the fabulous Swedish color *waves*!
I instantly knew I would love Larissa, cos the style is so sleek and sexy. I’m pairing it with my Hucci-mama Gold Rain Jumpsuit! Eboni Khan is fast becoming one of my favorite casual wear stores, cos she really designs for girls who are not afraid to embrace their inner Hucci. I prefer booty shorts and low cut tops to pants and a proper shirt, but you guys already know that if you follow my blog! It doesn’t have to be skanky if your avatar doesn’t look dirrrty.
I’m so happy when things from different creators goes beautifully together. I remembered that I had this Dia De Los Muertos jewelry set from Violet Voltaire and it matches one of the textures on the Take it Easy Tote from Boom.
The Boom tote so versatile, it includes 22 different textures and the straps are scripted to color-change as well. There are so many beautiful textures to choose from, it’s such a great deal and a must have if you love bags.
Tiny Bird released the St Augustine dress recently, and I’m so impressed with the textures and the sculpted attachments. It’s pretty cool to see how diverse SL content creators are — and they’re always trying new things. I had no idea that Autumn Hykova had a hidden clothes making talent! More cutesy dresses is always a good thing.

Sweetest Goodbye has just released the Drive sculpted vest, for men and women. I love the sculpted pocket & details, this vest is so sexy and easy to wear. The vest is made up of 2 sculpted attachments — one for the bottom and one for the pocket & hoodie.
I’m pairing the Drive vest with new LeeZu O’LaLa Micro Jeans Skirt. This skirt is so versatile — you get so many options with just one color. The skirt can be worn with no belt, or Beige, Brown, and White belt. <3
Tuli – Jade Eyes
These new Jade Eyes from Tuli have not been released yet but they will be on May 28th along with new Jade skins! They have gorgeous textures and the size is just perfect.
eha has just released 3 more hairstyles at their new main store. I think this brand will be quite popular, cos the styles are cute and they’re already releasing fairly consistently. They’re new so I’ll cut them some slack about not having my favorite light blonde texture, but I’m still waiting for it!
Also, I noticed a trend lots of Japanese hair designers (or new designers), the hair sizes tend to run a lot smaller than usual. I think the “standard” SL head size is 50+ with an average head (profile) length. I had to resize this hair a lot more than the other brands I normally wear, but it wasn’t too hard (it may be hard for newer players though).
This Blogger’s Office set is on sale for $150L this weekend only (so you have a few hours left!) as part of the Spruce Up Your Space event. The set includes most of what you see pictured above (minus the wall painting) and a few pictures I placed on the desk.
I desperately needed to update my “home office” even though I rarely actually sit down and use it, I like to pretend I do. Every blogger needs an office!!!! My old one was a desk from La Belle Vie (no longer in SL) that I loved but the desk alone was 24 prims and didn’t really include any matching accessories.
The Blogger’s Office set includes this cute laptop, and you can even customize the screen with your own images. I am using one of the images included in this laptop — check it out! It’s WordPress! It was kind of freaky watching SL Gogo use WordPress cos this is a screen that I stare at on a daily basis.
The office chair includes some built-in poses for both Male & Female. This is super cute, I’m “thinking” here.

Exile has just released perfect summer hairstyles!! My two favorites are Adriana and Tash (includes a color changing hair bow). I think Wes is a short women’s style but can be unisex, and Keith’s is a men’s style that also looks pretty cute on girls!
I love this new Sylvia hairstyle from Truth. It comes with a plain or scripted with a streaks version. I’m channeling my inner Avril today, hence the title of this post.
I don’t often feature poses by itself but I really should more often. Fashion blogging would be impossible without a variety of nice poses to show off the items. I’m featuring StoRin today, who has a small but growing collection of poses. I find that poses from StoRin fits me pretty well and Annah Whitfield has a lot of standing poses, which is perfect for blogging.

Sometimes I read notes from people asking me to check out their brand, visit their store, give their products a chance on my blog and usually the laziness creeps in, and I toss the note aside, then eventually forget about it. But Pheonix Piek left me one, and I smelled desperation. Not the bad kind of desperation, but someone who just really wants her products noticed in SL.
Even though I’m not a serious creator, I can understand where she’s coming from. With tons of competition now, more than ever before, it’s easy to go unnoticed!

I wore this MALT Florentia Dress in my Morantique Lush post a few days ago, but you guys only saw the top portion. The whole dress is so pretty and my favorite part is the ruffles, of course! There’s also a plain version, or you can wear it without the sculpted attachment (up to you..) and this dress includes dramatic tattoo mask layer (not worn here).
I did a teaser of this work in progress skin a few days ago, I guess I can tell you more about it now. It’s from EXILE! I’ll definitely do a preview/review when it’s ready. I love the face and the skin tones I’ve seen so far.
Hays Uriza has just released an amazing collection of Natural Eyes. These eyes comes with a HUD — what doesn’t it do? Everything you would want to customize for your eyes is included in the HUD. See below:

I haven’t made a vid in a loooong time, so this is my first time testing the SL 2.0 client. I couldn’t remove the UI entirely (I blame SL) and the music doesn’t really sync with the dance moves at times, but it’s MY FIRST ONE in a long time! :)
Cajsa made me go check out eha hair cos she said the styles were cute and they’re pretty new/unknown. I visited and they only have a few styles but it’s so cheap! The hairstyles are $100L per color and it’s mod.
