!Bang – Glitz 3 pose
Trieste Minuet and her partner, Izaak Minuet sent me a small package of review poses to introduce me to their new !Bang pose shop. It’s not a secret that I get review copies often, but when it’s from a brand I haven’t heard of before, I tend to look at the creator’s profile to see their website and policies and all that.
Now I have to say, if these are alts, they make no secret of hiding it. Both Trieste and Izaak are one moth old. Unless the learning curve in SL has flattened, that’s an incredible rate for anybody to make poses, open a shop with a catchy brand name, get cute avatars, find established bloggers and learn savvy marketing methods. Yes, I think they’re savvy.
!Bang – Glitz 2 pose
Whose alts are they? I want to ask… cos I think I know who it is, but I don’t really know if I should. I’ve seen many businesses run by alts in SL, for many different reasons. Sometimes the main avatar needs a break, or they want to branch out, or they want a nice tidy inventory to work with. Whatever the reason, well done, you’re definitely launching with a !Bang.
A friend of mine said, they must want to be “on my radar” so to speak, cos they did find me to send review copies. Anybody that knows me, knows I am curious and I ask questions! Cos guess what? I was a newb for a long time in SL and it makes me feel stupid that one month old avatars can run savvy businesses.
My guess is, these avatars may be new but they are owned by very experienced and savvy SL’ers. :)

I am pleasantly surprised by the new face from Cupcakes. This Dahlia face has 19 makeups and tintable brows.
The brows looks pretty good Red, Brown and Black, but I did not like the “Blonde” tint at all. I think tintable brows is a nice idea but the skin does lose some detail and some people go overboard and tint ‘em unnatural colors.
I do think this is a great improvement over the past releases, the tone is a lot more realistic and rosy and I love the makeup choices. I like the Copper tone cos it has a lot of warmth and looks great with Brown hair colors.

A couple of things that I think could be improved upon, and some of you guys may not agree with me, so this is just my personal preference.
I hate when teeth have gaps like this and isn’t perfectly white. If you want to see an example of perfect teeth, check Pink Fuel skins.
The body doesn’t really match the cute youthful face at all. I think it could be smoother and blended more, cos this body looks “old” to me.

Today I made a folder and labeled it, CRAP TO BLOG, and dragged all unsorted folders inside my inventory to it. The stuff is not crap, it’s all fabulous, but that’s just how I like to label things.
One of the outfits I found inside my CRAP folder is this gorgeous DCNY Madelene II outfit. I have no idea how long it has been there, but I am pleasantly surprised I found it again. This outfit can be worn several ways, all the layers are included, so you can wear with suspenders, without, with just the suspenders (if you want to pair it with another top underneath).
I love the outfit, it matches my new Argrace Military Cap “Loose Chignon” hairstyle. Argrace hair is no mod but includes a resize script. Typically no mod hair is also a no purchase thing for me, but I make exceptions when it’s cute. The demo had a resize script so I played around with it and it was alright.
I’m using one of Torley’s Watermelon WL setting, and I just love it. I want to try bolder WL settings cos I’ve been feeling pretty blah lately.

I’m dressed like Barbie today! This Sweet Valley Barbie Luff outfit from Veschi is so adorable. It comes with a tube top, prim skirt, and leggings (I’m also wearing Boom’s Her Pleasure tube top in Canary yellow over the Hot Pink tube top cos I felt like it).
I wanted to blog this oOo Studio Rainy Day Vignette for ages cos it’s just *so* adorable. This is more than a posing prop, you really could “live” in it if you wanted to, even though it’s just one room.
The Rainy Day Vignette includes: 9 single poses, 3 couples poses, and a custom HUD to change floor, rug, wall, fabric wood and exterior images to suit your mood. You can also turn rain on/off via the HUD.

I’ve been wanting to blog a bunch of furniture but fashion things always gets blogged ahead of everything else. I’ll start by blogging my new Coeur skybox and a few MudHoney items that goes perfectly with it.
This Coeur Home “sweet” Home skybox is so very Juicy! There are 4 fruit themes – Citrus, Strawberry, Watermelon, and a special group gift, Cherry. I picked Strawberry cos I liked the Pink walls, but they’re all pretty so I might change it up once in awhile.
This MudHoney Lawrence Office set is so sweet, and includes everything pictured above. I like that it includes everything you would need to set up an office space (desk, laptop, desk accessories and book shelf) and also includes additional seating areas to entertain friends or relax.
I have a few more things to blog later, since this month’s Spruce Up Your Space theme is beachy and I looooooooove the beach!
Riq Graves of Reek has so much talent, it’s almost unfair! This first hairstyle is called Savannah 1 (includes a color-changing Cowboy hat) is similar to Topeka 1, and Topeka 2 (they have braids). For a first hairstyle, this is very cute and far better than most firsts I’ve seen.
Reek also released this Saddle Stool in White and Natural Wood texture for 50L Friday this week, if you want a cute posing prop/decor item. This Saddle Stool includes 6 built-in animations, and my favorite is the Rodeo! animation, which has to be seen in-world to be truly appreciated. Go check it out!

I’m so used to taking pics by myself that it takes me forever to find a proper group pose. I dug through my Glitterati folder and found this adorable Contest-Friends pose (the phone is included). It was just the perfect pose for 2 girls! I wish people made more poses for girl friends :P *hint hint*

I really wanted this last Mushroom pose to fit me, but it didn’t :( My arms are hovering too far above my knees (although you can’t really tell cos I tried to hide it with the camera angle). But yeah, is it because my legs are too short?

Sweetest Goodbye released a new School Girl 2 outfit and I adore this new version with a blazer and updated skirt. If you’re a fan of the previous School Girl outfit, you will love this one cos the blazer can be taken off!
I searched everywhere for a proper school setting, and ended up at the Western University of Australia sim. I went to a couple of “ugly” university sims before landing here, and I fell in love with the peacocks walking around the lawn.
This outfit is great the sweet school girl look, or *cough* school girl RP. The prim attachments are scripted with a resize script, but it is also modifiable so you can resize yourself. I just stretched the prim skirt a bit, and lowered the tie. It’s so easy to fit.

LeeZu has just released this adorable LouLita short dress. This dress has a regular version with a shirt underneath (to cover your boobs), but I’m wearing the ‘topless’ version that’s included as well. I just love that each color includes a regular and a topless, so you can truly pair it with anything your heart desires. Me? I like bras.
The dress is named LouLita, which I’m guessing is inspired by the word Lolita, so I’m basing my look around the cutesy Japanese Lolita fashion. I love Pink hair!! I feel like I’m missing a parasol and lots more cute accessories to pull off the lolita look properly, but I really like this simple look :)

I flew around SL in search of an interesting beach for my snapshots and I’m reminded of why I hate in-world shots. Whenever I’m on a sim by myself and another avatar teleports in, they will find me and strike up a conversation or stand somewhere in my frame, or maybe even push me a little. C’mon sl newbs residents, if you see someone posing kind of awkwardly and standing in a far corner by themselves, just leave them alone.

I was at the Katat0nik sim trying to snap pictures of this Romper Stomper outfit when I bumped into Katat0nik Pidgeon! I was messing around with shadows, so I showed her how to play around with the Windlight settings to get nice and bright images.
Here I am going through some poses for my post while Katat0nik is tuning me out following my Windlight instructions. Of course SL 2.0 Shadows is still a pain in the ass (and crashes SL constantly), but I am determined to use it as much as my patience will allow.

Hello everybody! This is the very first teeth-skin in SL that I don’t find repulsive. I find these very natural looking and the skin is simply beautiful. JM:MAI makes very cute faces, and I think with this Gemma skin, the quality has improved a lot. The skin texture is so smooth, and the eyes are gorgeous.
Gemma is available in so many makeups, so I have selected just 10 of my favorites to show you. These skins features an open mouth with teeth showing, and no closed-mouth option. I wish it came with both, but for now, this is the only option available.

If you like dimples, Gemma has ‘em! I like the no dimples version, cos these dimples are too subtle I didn’t really notice them at first. I wonder why the dimples are sold as a separate skin pack, instead of putting it on a tattoo layer?
The skin has a lovely ample cleavage already, but I wanted to wear the add-on Cleavage Enhancer cos it’s so sexy! I like this a lot, it’s so realistic.

Pink Fuel skin just oozes cuteness to me. You’ve probably seen this skin blogged at least half a dozen times already, but I just had to try on Ember for myself. I love the nice healthy glow on the skin, and the lips, and the brow options! This skin captures the most important thing I look for when I decide that a skin is “me” — a youthful appearance. I tend to favor fresh and nude faces instead of the “glam model look” because my avatar is youthful.
