Meet Suzie, the newest skin release from Unique Megastore. For several releases in a row, Unique Megastore skins have been sunkissed or tan, which is a lil bit darker tone than what I normally wear.
This new Suzie skin comes in a lighter tone with light brows, and it pairs beautifully with light Brown hair or even the right shade of Blonde. Suzie also includes “sexy breasts” option, hair base, and a mix of closed and open-mouth skins.
I wish I could show you all of the makeups, but since I’m photographing with shadows today, I’ll have to limit myself to just two favorites.
I picked up this adorable Love Affair babydoll top from ATOMIC, it is part of one of the special sales event (there’s so many, hard to keep track of). I like the color and the shading, and I generally adore babydoll tops. I was a lil disappointed that the cleavage is so low and wide, so the top looked really odd when worn by itself. So, I wore the Frilly Little Bra from Whippet&Buck and it looked better with it.

So, I guess you didn’t have to wait that long to try Pink Fuel’s Elly skin! In Mochi’s own words, this skin “mixes sweet with creepy” and just the way I like it.

I think that lots of girls will be happy with this release, especially if you’re already a fan of the cute young faces from Pink Fuel. I know I am, but I have always favored the ‘youngish’ look in SL rather than the mature glam look. I’m not glam… I don’t really even like to wear shoes most of the time when I’m floating around in-world from sim to sim.
Are you looking forward to the final version of this skin as much as I am?
I hope the final is something like this, because I think it’s perfect already.

I’m loving this week’s Truth hair releases cos the hairstyles frames the face so well and there are no bangs covering the face. These styles will be perfect for blogging skins, which I haven’t done too much of lately but I’m hoping to do them more frequently soon cos some of my favorite designers are releasing new faces.

Also, if you have not made the switch to SL 2.1 (or another SL viewer with layers capabilities) you’re really missing out on some excellent customizations. I am wearing Laqroki Pearl skin with Dark Brows on the tattoo layer, plus Lelutka Lola lipstick. The fit is not perfect on the lipstick, but from afar you can’t even tell! I wanted to wear a more matted lipstick, even though I normally love the shiny lipgloss on Laq skins.
<– see the lips corners peeking out beneath my lipstick tattoo? You probably won’t get a perfect match with lipsticks unless it is created by the same creator for that specific skin. So I’m still crossing my fingers that Laqroki will be releasing some lipsticks on a tattoo layer soon! *crosses fingers*

This is why I love Katat0nik’s stuff so much, she always has cute new releases and they’re colorful and girlie. I would much rather wear stuff like this than something more formal. Before I discovered Katat0nik, I was a big fan of lolita dresses but there wasn’t much variety. I don’t think lolita fashion is that big in SL anymore but it’s still one of my favorite ways to dress up.

Change is interesting. I like rezzing homes and landscaping around them, but I move at a snail’s pace so I kept my PM home for over 2 years. I really liked that house, it was simple and only had 4 rooms so it was perfect for me since I take forever to decorate.
I’ve finally deleted the PM home from my sim today to make room for a new one! But I miss it already! I miss my pool too, but I never really use it sooo.. bye bye old house…

LaGyo released the second part of their Summer jewelry collection a few days ago, and there are lots of cute pieces that can be worn alone or as part of a set. I am wearing the Floss necklace, Floss brooch, and Floss Earrings (it’s hidden by my hair but it’s there!). The Floss items are scripted to change color so I tried to match my brooch and necklace to SySy’s new Ruffle tank in pink/teal color. After I put this outfit together, I realized it looked a bit like the 4th of July, lol, but the colors are cute and you can’t go wrong with Red and blue! :)

Yes, I know, I’m totally guilty of group hopping. It’s a good thing I stayed because this group sends out home decor gifts daily! These TuttiFrutti Lucy in the Sky (Ultra Low Jeans) may be the most colorful pair of pants I own in SL. These pants are “ass-crack pants” cos it shows just a lil too much but it looks great if you pair it with regular top instead of a crop top. The pants includes sculpted skinny cuffs and wide cuffs.

OMG! Picnik released a new Fancy Collages set with a perfect Summer by the Sea theme. I LOVE IT! I’m trying a few of them for this post today… it’s soooo pretty and vibrant!
After the massive Summer sale a few weeks ago, Friday has released new hair! I love the new Hailey and Hailey 2 hairstyles, they are perfect beach hair!!

AOHARU released an adorable Ruffle Romper outfit in floral patterns and solid colors. I knew Wilma would pick up a few for herself so I invited her to snap some pictures with me for my rompers post!
This Ruffle Romper also includes a pair of longer pants (similar to capris) so you’re getting two styles in one!
Last time when I posed with Wilma, I mentioned how difficult it was to find poses for two girl friends so Annah Whitfield sent me a few from her shop. I’m using the Best Friends pose from StoRin and it’s just perfect. I didn’t know StoRin had so many friends poses, so they’ll come in handy when I need ‘em for blogging in the future.

I think all SL brands should have a web presence, to keep customers updated on products and let them view new releases and refer to old releases all in one place. I like that Truth has been updating his site with every new release and also includes links to purchase on XSTREETSL.

A few days ago I mentioned that I wanted to try darker looks so I am trying on some mouth piercings from Skream! I’ve never really been big on piercings, since they don’t go with the clothes I dress my avatar in but I do like these. The Skream! mouth piercings comes on all attachments (mouth, chin, nose) and is mod so you can stretch/resize to fit your lips shape. I like these a lot and they match the short and choppy Olja hairstyle from Lelutka.
Since I normally don’t wear piercings, I don’t know how high or low they’re suppose to sit on my avatar’s lips. If I’m wearing these wrong, please tell me!
