I love the Teefy items so much, I am wearing it again today, in a different color and print. Instead of a retro look, I’ve decided to go with a more modern and casual style by wearing a plain White top with darker floral prints. At times I am insanely jealous of my virtual wardrobe!!!!
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel Skin
Truth – Zoella
Teefy – Laura Unbuttoned Knotted Shirt (S) White
Teefy – Leah High-Waisted Skinny Jeans (S) Floral
L.Warwick – Umbriel (High Strapped Heels) Noir
EDIT: These horses are limited availability for now, so only about 40 of them are released to beta testers. You must wear the Water Horse group tag to purchase the horse. Water Horse will sell horses freely again when they iron out the bento head deformity bug.
Bento has been pretty fun so far! I’ve purchased a few things, such as the Medhue Elephant and Red Remora’s Fennec Fox avs. Both are Bento-enabled and add a lot of fun to playing SL.
So, here’s a new creation to add to this list: Water Horse has released their Riding Horse for beta testing. It’s a wearable vehicle but uses Bento bones to animate the mesh. No more claymation texture cycling! Your avatar will look like it’s riding a real horse in-game.
Seriously. This exists in SL now. And currently, the horse is going for about 3500L. Less than a mesh head! That’s a steal.
A few caveats if you buy the horse: it’s still in beta so there are bugs. They’re currently fixing a bug that deforms Bento heads when you ride the horse. They’re also looking for users to report anything else that’s wrong so the devs can fix it.
Hello from Aurelias! Today is the first day of the Easter Egg Hunt! For as long as I can recall, Second Life has maintained a stance against ageplay. Now, with the introduction of a new Child Avatar policy, it seems the platform is reacting to a broader issue simmering within its virtual realms. However, there’s a sense that the policy doesn’t fully address the root of the problem.
Let’s clarify from the outset – we’re not discussing actual children here. It’s evident that the number of users under 18 in Second Life is relatively low, and the fraction that comprises actual children is even smaller. The question arises: Should Linden Lab assume responsibility for monitoring the real-life guardianship of its users’ children?
Turning back to the policy itself, personally, I’ve only created one toddler avatar in all my time in Second Life. Honestly, I don’t think Second Life is concerned about my diminutive, two feet tall avatar. The real target here appears to be avatars that blur the lines, those youthful teenage avatars clad in provocative attire and engaging in adult activities.
One might argue that simply prohibiting users under 18 from accessing Adult regions would suffice. However, the new policy, set to mandate a modesty layer on all “child avatars” by June 30, 2024, suggests otherwise. But what exactly constitutes a “child avatar”? According to American law, anyone under 18 is a child. So, if your avatar leans toward the younger side, could you find yourself in hot water?
In anticipation of these changes, I’ve begun reaching out to skin designers to inquire about updates for previously released products. Frankly, it strikes me as unnecessary for toddler/child skins to include private parts at all – they should have been excluded from the get-go. While my Bebe skin appears to be a blur with no discernible private parts, I’d feel more at ease if the designer updated it with painted-on underwear, just to be safe.
As Second Life rolls out these changes, one can’t help but wonder if they have the resources to effectively enforce them. Undoubtedly, a surge of abuse reports is on the horizon, whether valid or not. It’s clear that Second Life doesn’t wish to outright ban child avatars – family roleplay is a cornerstone of the community. From Zooby babies to pint-sized avatars, residents have been creating child avatars for years. My mini Gogo, for instance, is so cute.
So, here’s a plea to region designers: Please don’t ban “child avatars” on sight. Remember, most of us are well over 18, and child avatars are permitted on Moderate regions too. They’re only restricted from Adult regions, and if you opt to embody a child avatar, simply steer clear of those areas.
As I reflect on Second Life’s new child avatar policy, I find myself questioning its true effectiveness in ensuring children’s safety. While I appreciate the intention to create a secure environment, I can’t help but wonder about the practical implementation of the policy. Is it genuinely focused on protecting children, or is it more about managing Linden Lab’s image and legal liabilities? It’s a nuanced topic that deserves deeper exploration. If you share my curiosity or have concerns you’d like to discuss directly with Second Life, consider joining the first Community Roundtable with Second Life Leadership on May 20. It’s a chance to engage in constructive dialogue and seek clarification on any lingering doubts or questions.
✿ cheLLe ✿ Glamour Puss includes six vibrant tattoo eyeshadows that can be worn over any skin. This package also includes bonus Black eyeshadow & a pair of Glamour Puss brows.
The brows do not need to be worn for these shadows to work, but they are recommended if you want to minimize creasing and show off the eyeshadows more smoothly.
✿ cheLLe ✿ Leopard Spots is now out at the main store! Thank you to everyone who went to the memorial site for Cliff, the event has now ended.
It’s madness how much I spent to win every piece of the Long Vacation gacha set. I’ve been shifting from retro-style to 80s-style in SL. I don’t remember when I started wearing Amitomo or buying cute little builds from Haikei, but I’m so glad these two brands exist in SL. I desperately needed new brands in my SLife, so I’m glad to have found a handful of cute stores with consistent releases to inspire me.
Have you seen the delicious new animation add-on from LeLutka? Lol Bee Bop and Wooly Mammoth are two more food-centric animations to keep you satisfied. I’m thinking maybe LeLutka should release a teeth brushing animation next, that would be so cute!
Are there animations that you want for mesh heads? Let me know in the comments!
Hair Fair is open! Shop now until July 4th, a percentage of the proceeds are donated to the Wigs for Kids charity. I am wearing the new Svetlana hair from Exile, available at Hair Fair. This hair is adorable, just the perfect updo for any occasion. Get this hair and others at Hair Fair.
Thank you for your amazingly useful feedback, I’ll be sure to keep it in mind when I write my future blog posts. Even if my blog is so yawn inducing, I’m very happy that you take the time out of your very busy and important life to visit daily (hourly?). Such loyal fans are hard to come by!! Thank you for supporting JuicyBomb.com, bye! 🙂
You really are one sad sad individual aren’t you? You let everyone think that I come here every hour???? WTF!!! Please don’t flatter yourself. Just face it that your look is dated instead of trying to drum up drama as no-one cares they really don’t!… And even IF I did come here every hour so what, I’m disabled and flat on my back 24/7 I wish i did have a “busy and important life” but unfortunately i don’t anymore!!!!
james, if you’re going to criticize, it might help to do so constructively. Instead of “yawning” and saying Gogo is “dated”….justify those statements and explain “why” you think that. Don’t you think it’s rather hard to look “dated” when one is wearing items that were released “right now”? Gogo has her basic “hook and look”, white-blond or pastel hair, youthful pink fuel skin, youthful-cute clothing, that’s not going to change much. Most SL fashion bloggers have a look they gravitate to. I’m almost always wearing Belleza skin, with red hair, for example. If you think she’s wearing a single designer too much, then say that. If you don’t like her photography, then say that, just don’t go around making vague statements.
I just cannot seem to find the Tee*fy unbuttoned shirt no matter how hard I look. I have wandered all through the Mainstore and the Marketplace and cannot seem to find a match for “Laura” or “unbuttoned”. What am I doing wrong?
*Yawns* Same old, same old

Super cute!
Beautiful! Like you said it’s the same items but a differnt look completely just by using different prints. Love the hair, too.
GoGo, you are awesome 🙂 I’ve known you for like what? 6 years? You’re still fresh and vibrant to me !
