This sexy little Alice in Wonderland outfit is from Deviance, one of the best places to get cute costumes inspired by fairytale characters. I love to dress up in SL, but I usually stick to cute/naughty costumes, not sci-fi or scary stuff. I want to try more sci-fi stuff though!

This post features the new Vive9 Carrot skins. I will admit that I did not like this brand when it was first launched, because I thought the work was sloppy and had seams everywhere. Seams are unforgivable, especially in places like the face, torso, legs, or other highly visible places. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried on Carrot skins and I liked the face and didn’t notice seams everywhere.

This skin is not perfect but it is good enough to buy and wear.

I did notice one thing that annoyed me, and I can’t believe I’m saying this cos it sounds really weird but the palms are too light for the skin tone, and there’s a seam on the hand (which I can live with because it’s not a highly visible area). Here’s a picture to show you what I’m talking about:

Now that I have THAT out of the way, onto the makeups and the face itself, which is fantastic! I’m such a fan of youthful faces and rosy cheeks <3

Each skin tone has 9 makeups, and each makeup has 3 brow option (Blonde, Brown, Red) and a freckles version. I’m wearing the Blonde brows and Apricot skin tone here.

Hello SL! Check out this new Mahari Dress from Zaara. I’ve always been a huge fan of the textures and designs because her textures are completely unique, they have their own look and nothing else on the grid is like it. I love the luscious silky textures and generous use of colors & feminine patterns.

When I saw this Mahari Dress, I had to have it! Zaara’s always been very nice to me and her customer service is top-notch. I am wearing the Mahari Dress in Apricot and Bloom.

I spent all morning trying to figure out which skin I would wear this with, when I tried on the new Laqroki Pearl skins and LOVED them!! This is a skin for Blondes (but will work with Brown hair colors too).

I haven’t really blogged a new skin release in awhile, I guess nothing appealed to me lately until Pearl came along <3

The Laqroki Pearl skins includes has 10 makeups, and a ‘hairbase’ version of each skin. I really like the makeups on these, there’s a good mix of glam makeups and casual makeups to suit any occasion.

A lot of people said they wanted to see Gala’s Cupid 2 makeups, so here they are :)

The makeups are totally DIFFERENT from Cupid 1, so fans of this skin can enjoy the Cupid series in Dark Brows, but with a whole new set of makeups. I actually like this face with the Dark Brows a bit more than the Light ones. I think it’s stunning, especially when worn with darker hair in the warm Sunkissed tone.

A couple of days ago I posted a teaser image of the newest KA Designs Stacie skins. The skins have just been released and they were worth the wait. I’m loving this new face and the fresh glowy skin tone. Each skin tone has 10 makeups and 1 no-makeup skin, 3 different brow color choices, and hair base option.

Gala Phoenix will be releasing Cupid 2 skins with Dark Brows soon (probably tomorrow!). I really like the Dark Brows on these, even though I love the original Light Brows set too.

I was stumbling around SL this morning and I found this Cover (Paris) skin from LE MODE on sale for just $50L! This is part of the Weekend Fever event, and it includes a single Mint makeup in all 3 skin tones (Pale, Sunkissed, Tan). I didn’t really like the lips template, cos the arches on the upper lip is too pointy, I couldn’t get rid of it by lowering the shallow slider on my mouth at all. The skin tone is OK, depending on which Windlight setting you’re viewing it in. I worked with my Windlight setting a lot to make it less yellow.

The face is pretty cute and the brows are nice. So despite the stuff that I didn’t like about it, I thought this was a pretty great deal, especially cos of the low price.

I live for new skin releases! This new Stacie skin will be released soon (maybe Sunday?) at KA Designs. I’ve been blogging KA skinsf or a long time, and I think that this one is one of the best yet. The skin complexion is nice and rosy and the nose is slimmer than before. I love the luscious lips and the shape is very easy to work with on my shape.

I can’t wait to see the full line of makeups!

These Whippet&Buck Frilly Little Bra & Knickers are so adorable!! Guys, if you’re thinking of what the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, might I suggest buying a fatpack of these for your crush!

I’m teasing you guys with Gala’s soon-to-be released Cupid skins, but I’m showing the body first because I’ve just realized today that I’m changing my skin tone preference for Gala skins. Usually I wear Petal [Dark] but since I’m into the nicer sunkissed glow, I’ve been wearing Sundust [Light] a lot. It’s my tone of choice now! Has that ever happened to anyone? I wore Petal forever, but I think either my Windlight settings changed, or my new monitor is different.

Gala fans, you know the drill. Cupid comes in 6 makeups (2 versions each), light/dark skin tone and GORGEOUS brown brows.

I think I like this skin just as much as I like Elf (maybe even a little bit more), the nose is adorable and the lips are adorable!!

Bella di Notte has just released the sultry Nadja skins. Each skin tone includes a light and dark brows option, and 10 sexy makeups. I’m wearing the Light skin tone with dark brows cos I love the way it brings out the eyes on this skin.
