Shag – Let Me Kiss You | These Things | Breathe Me (Platinum)

Shag hair launched last year at hair fair, so it’s really great to see that they’re back again this year with even more hairstyles. I really like the Breathe Me style and the fedora hat on the These Things style. The fedora is scripted to change the Band and Hat 5 different colors.

These pictures were taken with shadows enabled but I’m having such a hard time with that lately. It’s so erratic, sometimes I can do it, and sometimes I can’t :(

Remember the Mother Goose skins I mentioned a few posts ago? The lure of the fatpack is too strong so I ended up giving away the single I bought to a friend (the skin is sold no copy, transfer) and getting a fatpack! Yay!

This skin is not as realistic as what I normally wear, so I don’t know why I like it so much, but I do!

I am wearing the Fishy Strawberry Tube Dress and Waist Belt in this post, but there’s so much newness and colors available, I’ll have to do a separate blog post.

A few days ago I wore a Rosi skin group gift from Bella di Notte, and now the full line has finally been released!!

The new Bella di Notte skins has 6 lipstick choices, light and dark brows, 12 Eye-makeups (sold separately), Blush, Freckles, and Cleavage (all are on the tattoo layer). I really like that more skin designers are making use of the tattoo layer to allow us to create our own look.

I really like these shadows (tattoo) because they’re transparent and can work with other skins much more easily than lipstick on a tattoo layer.

BOOM has sexy new Surf Polos and they come in so many vibrant sunny colors, it’s so hard to pick a favorite! This polo includes a sculpted collar and shirt attachment, adding even more realism to a great shirt. I’ve found new favorite “booty shorts” from Hucci! The Hucci Denim Shorts are short but still classy.

Some time back in early August, I said I wouldn’t blog any skins for an entire month, so I could dedicate some of my blog posts to all the other wonderful things in SL — like shoes? clothes? aos? things I don’t normally cover enough of! Obviously couldn’t resist the lure of new skins so I have covered skins numerous of times this month.

Let’s just say I love skins. Every new skin is like unwrapping a surprise gift and trying it on and like magic, a lovely new face emerges.

These new Laqroki Tess 2 skins have thicker Dark Brown brows, but I am wearing a Blonde brows (tattoo) over it for my review. I think the lighter brows adds to the youthful look of this face, it’s so pretty.

After yesterday’s vagina post, I have to redeem myself with a normal fashion post now! These fabulous new Meggan skins are from Unique Megastore. I’m a fan of nice celebrity-inspired faces, so I find myself drawn to these skins.

I would have to say that this is one of the nicer celebrity skins out there, where it’s not just a low quality cut & paste job.

Meggan has 12 makeups, hair base, sexy breasts, and two open lips skin.

TP to The Circle Project; it’s out now!!!!

This Pink Fuel Amaterasu skin is a limited edition created for The Circle Project. It is anime-inspired and that’s paint (not blood) drawn on the skin itself. I have no idea where it is cos TCP has not started yet but I will update this post with a SLURL when I get it! :)

Do you know that people who always gives glowing feedback to everything by saying it’s so nice, I love it <3<3, stunning, awesome, great work! <- those people, everyone thinks they’re nice people. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not a nice person if I see the potential in something, but then I also can’t help but point out the things that are not so nice, not so awesome, and potentially could be hurting their brand.

Imabee is one of these skin brands that I think has potential, but there are some things that definitely needs work (in my opinion) so I hesitated to review it for a long time. I guess I didn’t want to offend, since my not-so-glowing reviews in the past (of other brands) have resulted in nothing but grief.

First, I’ll tell you the things that I think are wonderful about these skins. The new Imabee Serene skins have 6 makeups total and 3 brow choices, 10 lipstick tattoo layers and cleavage option. The makeups are stunning, and the options are enough to satisfy even the pickiest skin whore shopper.

Now onto the things that have prevented me from being interested in these skins. This may or may not be a problem for some shoppers, but it is for me. I think this is a bad move to make it harder for shoppers to view your skin in its entirety. Please stamp a demo somewhere on the body, but don’t punish your potential customers this way.

Also, this is one of the downsides of social networking… Imabee creator, Brebndon Papp is on my Plurk timeline. Whenever I have seen previews of this skin in the past, I’ve always thought the tone was so goth (pale) looking.  I guess I’m not a fan of tones that are not fleshy. I think that Stem is perfect, but in the past all the previews I’ve seen were in Apical or Petal tone. I didn’t love it at first sight.. it didn’t inspire me to demo them.

Well, that’s my review. I hope I haven’t offended anyone and I really think this brand has potential if some improvements are made.

SL hates me today. I can’t focus my avatar’s eyes at all, damn you pixel me, why won’t you look straight ahead!! Anyways, check out this new Yri skin from Dutch Touch. One of my favorite skin designers, Kira Ahn (owner and creator of DEKADE), is now releasing female skins under the CheerNo brand. This new Alisar skin created for CheerNO has 5 makeups, hair-base, and light or dark brows.

This is a beautiful skin, so I’m a lil sad it was not released for DEKADE, but I hope that DEKADE will still release skins now that Kira will be creating for both brands.
