Now is a good time to head over to Hair Fair! This gorgeous Lorelay hairstyle from enVogue is giving me wonder woman vibes. The twin braids are so cute!
I like clothes that are sexy without baring it all. Ricielli does it perfectly with this Paula Mini Top. I don’t have anything like this yet, and the length is perfect for pairing with high-waisted bottoms.
What I’m Wearing:
enVogue Hair – Lorelay v1
Ricielli – Paula Mini Top
The Secret Store – Nora Highwaist Skirt
ANE Accessories – Arida Boho Bag
ANE Shoes – Myth Sandals
Mandala – Prophecy Earrings (Forest)
Llorisen – Dunn Barn Conversion
Update 7/6/17: I was contacted by a Linden and told they’re looking into this.
This post makes me sad. I don’t want to type it. I’ve been trying to avoid it by settling the matter privately or seeking help from Linden Lab on the downlow. But after several tries to get the office’s attention about what’s going on, I think the only real solution is to make this issue public. They simply aren’t responding because what I have to report doesn’t fit exactly into their usual categories.
Everyone knows I’m about art. It’s what I do for a living irl and I’m very happy with it. After a great bout of years in the art field, I got involved with Linden Endowment for the Arts thinking that would be great experience for joining a real, larger panel for an established museum. Unfortunately, that’s not what I found here.
Hair Fair is open! From July 1st-16th, a percentage of every hair that you buy at the event will benefit the Wigs for Kids organization. I look forward to Hair Fair annually, cos I have so many fond memories of shopping here through the years.
Check out the official Hair Fair blog for a preview of all the hairstyles and direct SLurls. When I went to the preview last night, this post was not up yet, which is actually a good thing cos I got to see all the booths and discover some new-to-me brands. I recommend going to the sims and buying the demos that you want to try directly, instead of relying on the Hair Fair Demo group cos that can get overwhelming.
I’m so impressed that hair designers got together and brought their best efforts to this event. In addition to bento hair, I’ve discovered that a handful of brands are now offering Style options, often built into the texture HUD or as a separate HUD.
Here are 5 hairstyles I love from Hair Fair:

Have you ever heard of Lootbox? Instead of winning rare items individually, you win a rare lootbox with the special items inside it. I wanted the Wonderland set from Astralia, cos for some reason I can’t resist anything Wonderland themed. I love being Alice! I went through my old blog posts and found some Alice looks that I wore years ago, and realized that my style was more fun then.
Speaking of Wonderland themed items, can you guys send me some links to stuff that I don’t know about? I want clothes, decor, anything!
Before you play for this Astralia set, beware that the pose included with the background doesn’t look exactly like my picture (or the vendor ad). The arm holding the bottle does not bend that way, I edited the pose myself so what you get won’t look anything like this.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Rumor
Astralia – Wonderland Gacha
Blueberry – Cocodoll Set (Sky) & Bracelets/Necklace
Katat0nik – Cards1 Wonderland Pendant
SL14B is here again! There are tons of sims open to celebrate Second Life’s 14th birthday. This year, I’ve put together a silly exhibit about Second Life if it took place in the Middle Ages.
As you can tell by this picture, I really tried for some of that sweet Monty Python humor. You can grab this art for free, plus other cool art, at the exhibit here.
