Caroline gave me this floral head accessory from LODE. I’ve worn a lot of hair things from LODE, but they’re mostly sold as gacha items so not always easy to get the right color for my outfits.
Look at my sparkly shoes! I love these Mila Suede Boots from The Secret Store. These shoes includes a HUD to change the main suede colors and the accent textures. I immediately gravitated towards the sparkly accent cos I don’t have anything like it in SL.

Every year, right before Thanksgiving, Black Friday deals start rolling in, both in real life and in Second Life. I always think to myself that maybe I should’ve bought less throughout the year, because by the time the sales arrive, I already have everything I wanted.
This year, I made a deliberate choice to buy slowly and only buy things I’ll actually wear right away. If you’ve been in SL as long as I have, you’ve probably bought everything twice or maybe five times already. I found the sweetest holiday accessories just by searching my own inventory. Most of what I’m wearing today isn’t new. Some pieces I bought years ago and never wore or blogged.
With how the economy is going in real life, even if you’re personally unaffected, it feels smart to scale back a little and get more joy out of what you already have or pick up items you truly want when they’re on sale, not just because they’re on sale.
The thing with Black Friday in Second Life is that it’s not that exciting anymore. Everything’s already on sale all year. Brands also exclude newer releases from the sale, sometimes the last three months of items, so there’s not much of a deal for anyone who shops often like I do.
I’m trying to have the longest Christmas ever in Second Life, so as far as I’m concerned, it starts now. The holiday season’s here, and I’m fully ready for twinkling lights and vacation.
Oh look, I’ve left my skybox! And, I’m wearing something other than a tank top and booty shorts.
Evie’s Closet has just released the Ariel dress in a bunch of different colors. I’m wearing the Pink one, of course! This dress includes sculpted flower top, sculpted flower pants (with and without silk attachments), circlet (for your hair), anklets, and modesty tops & pants (not worn here). I tried on the modesty top and pants and I didn’t like the look of it showing beneath gorgeous sculpted flowers, so I went without pants.
I tend to take too many pictures when I’m doing photos in-world cos I figured since I’m already there, and I’ve spent all that time rezzing the sim, why not take a bunch of pictures? Oh, also, other people must think I’m a weirdo for hovering in the same spot almost naked for a long time. I need a group tag that says “I’m not weird, I’m just blogging.”
Also, if you like my poses used in these photos, they’re from Leafy. I love these poses for in-world photos, especially when I want ‘action’ shots.

Why aren’t there more snow sims in SL? I went to Wilma’s place to snap these photos cos she’s amazing (and not lazy) and decorates her sim according to the season! I found a cute little spot in front of her house to snap photos – check out the lawn gnomes in the background!
I’m wearing the newly released Elate ‘Tuli’ dress which is short but it’s cozy — really! The Stitch by Stitch ‘Easy Going’ hair (with color-changeable hat) is the perfect Winter hair to go with this dress.
