In Defense Of Ryan
So, who called for Ryan Schultz to be banned from Second Life and Sansar for correctly reporting that Sansar was due to be shut down after a round of layoffs? Who did that? You owe Ryan an apology.
The poor guy was reporting on what he knew. He got a reliable source that said shutdowns were happening. Despite the shortage of comments I found on his blog entry about it, he says he got a lot of backlash and someone calling for him to be permabanned from Linden Lab’s social worlds. How petty! What a trifling thing to do, especially when he was right all along.
Look at today’s announcement. You really think Sansar’s going to come back strong and have another EDM concert featuring a famous dj?

Briar Wings
If you don’t get excited about a nice pair of wings in Second Life, can you even call yourself a resident? Even though I own all types of wings, from angel wings to fae wings and even wings made out of branches, I still get that little spark of excitement when I find a new pair I don’t already have.
These Briar Wings from Sparkle Skye are currently at Midnight Order. They’re made with delicate branches, tiny pearls, leaves, and strands of twinkling lights that you can turn on and off. I don’t really know where I’m going with this look yet, but I’m honestly just so pleased that they match my dress perfectly.
And can we talk about skins for a second? Why are there so many good ones being released right now? I’m extremely picky, yet I just fell in love with the new Bryce skin from Glam Affair. This skin has some of the nicest lips I’ve ever seen. I honestly wish I could get the default lips on a tattoo layer so I could wear them with everything. Aida Ewing, the creator of Glam Affair, has also been absolutely killing it with the brows. I don’t usually love default brows, but lately I’ve been loving all of them. I still wear the tintable version though, just so I can make them light brown.
Even though I’ve already added enough of Izzie’s tattoo layers to make this skin perfect for me, I still tried on another skin anyway… and of course I love that one too. I’ll save that for the next post. Stay tuned!

I bought a set of tribal face tattoos from Sorry.Asia. Is this brand new, or just new to me? I haven’t ever seen the brand name until this week, so I guess they are new-ish!
I’m piling on the tattoo layers today, so if you’re using an SL client that does not have this capability, you’re really missing out! My favorite teeth tattoo is still the Aegyo Teeth tattoo layer from Mozz, even though I’m constantly buying and trying different brands.
Hucci has just released this goddess-like Waterfall bikini set in a billion colors, so there’s something for everyone. I chose to wear the Ocean color, cos I just love this vibrant blue color, it goes so well with Gold jewelry.

Hi all, I have a quick tutorial today about tinting attachments. When people wear attachments and don’t tint them to match their clothes, it can ruin the entire look. Adding a gray tint will help fix this problem, while you may not get a perfect match, it will match better than before.
But Gogo, how much gray do I need to make the attachment? There is no set value, it all depends on what you’re tinting so do it slowly and start looking more fabulous! 🙂
When designers make items no mod, you’re pretty much out of luck. I’m not a fan of wearing prims that are set to "Full Bright" so when I can’t undo that or color-match it DRIVES ME CRAZY!
