Eloh Eliot has just released her Starlight skins in five skin tones and tons of face and body options. I've been looking forward to trying this skin on all week and it is just gorgeous. If I see anybody wearing those ugly newbie skins, I'm going to send then a landmark to Eloh's shop!

I hope someone more talented than me makes some awesome makeups for these. I think that these skins have such a beautiful smooth and youthful look. They may be "free" skins but they're really amazing and can rival any skins brand in SL. I <3 them.
I love this new Sylvia hairstyle from Truth. It comes with a plain or scripted with a streaks version. I’m channeling my inner Avril today, hence the title of this post.
I don’t often feature poses by itself but I really should more often. Fashion blogging would be impossible without a variety of nice poses to show off the items. I’m featuring StoRin today, who has a small but growing collection of poses. I find that poses from StoRin fits me pretty well and Annah Whitfield has a lot of standing poses, which is perfect for blogging.

I highly recommend visiting the frozen wilderness of Suomi-Finland! I absolutely love uncluttered nature sims, they’re gorgeous for photos and everything rezzes super fast! I’m not exactly dressed for the winter landscape, but it works for me. I am wearing the Fool for Love hairstyle from Magika. I had a hard time deciding between the normal hair color packs or the colorful dip-dye packs. I went with the dip-dye packs cos COLORS!
I’m still wearing the LeLutka mesh head today. My friend asked me if I’ve abandoned my default SL head forever, and I don’t know the answer to that question. I just like to mix things up a bit now and then, and I’m giving this head a try until I want something else. Just because I am wearing something that’s available to the masses, that doesn’t mean that I can’t make it uniquely me. I challenge you to find someone else wearing this exact head that looks like my clone.

Original skin & Cheap Makeup add-on 1 | 2 | 3
I am begging skin creators, or anybody with a passion for makeup to do some more shadows and blushes!! I’ve been mixing and matching stuff from various creators and I really enjoy that even though everything is available for sale to everyone, I have more control over my avatar’s skin via tattoo layers.
As you can see, the skin I am wearing has no eye makeup but by using the tattoo layers from Cheap Makeup, I can create new looks that costs next to nothing. Btw, Cheap Makeup is the brand, but I do think that makeups should be inexpensive and fun! 🙂
If you’re talented and thinking of creating some, here’s my one suggestion: do not put eyeshadow and lipstick on the same layer! They *rarely* ever work together and it won’t be versatile with most skins. I would prefer lipsticks, shadows, and blush all on different layers and also, please provide demos.

I don’t usually wear short hairstyles, but this new Scarlet style from LeLutka is so cute! I also needed a dark Brown hair color to match the brows on this skin, so I picked the Naturals pack which includes my favorite Blonde (Marilyn) and my favorite Brown (Bournville).
It seems like the Arcade has just ended, cos I still haven’t unpacked a few things from the last round, but it’ll be back again next week (on June 1st). Mochi from Pink Fuel will be releasing this GORGEOUS Harley Skin, plus a super-duper rare one that I won’t spoil for you guys 😀 I loooove the face and lips on this skin so much!
Today I’m wearing the newly released Amelia dress from Compulsion. I love the shape of this dress, so realistic and natural, especially the folds in the skirt. The Fatpack also includes a HUD to change the texture, which I love , cos HUDs are super efficient and saves inventory space!
