The Stitch By Stitch Emily Dress is full of Orangey goodness!! It’s a little too early to start thinking about Autumn, but I just love love love all the colors. The Emily dress is perfect for lounging around on a beautiful Autumn day. I was so inspired I snapped some in-world pics on my sim, and at BettiePage Voyager’s Furniture shop location.
@ BP’s Furniture Shop. I love the concept of this shop! When you land, you’re in a field of wildflowers, to get to the actual shop, you have to walk inside a barn and fall briefly down the stairs and there’s the shop.
This weekend I felt inspired by the new Moss&Mink Aeryn Kitchen, so I started to decorate one of my Linden Homes. I started arranging the kitchen pieces, then logged off to run some errands. When I came back to the house, someone had opened all of the cabinets and appliance doors. It’s okay to touch/inspect an object for the creator’s name, but not okay to repeatedly annoy.
Atomic‘s Stumblebum item is awesome!! It’s called the Summertime skirt but it may as well be called “Gogo’s favorite tutu skirt” cos it is! I’m in SLove! It’s only $100L and this color is an exclusive item, available only until June 4th.
I tried to find the top worn in the vendor ad but I couldn’t find that exact one, so I purchased a different one (in a similar color).
The Exile skin that I’ve been teasing for awhile now is almost ready. It’s called Chloe, and the final skin is beautiful, I have warm fuzzy feelings about this skin. It’s youthful and very wearable.
Mesh eyelids were all the rage this week! I saw a bunch of people wear these, but I thought the eyelids looked huge and doll-like! I went ahead and purchase a set so I could play around with it, and also Iris’ mesh eyelids review on NWN convinced me that they would be a good investment now (she mentioned that SLink updates products, so maybe future versions will have more options).
I re-sized the mesh eyelids smaller, and also pulled my Eye Depth slider to 0 for a better fit. Tinting the eyelids to match my skin was super easy. There is no HUD or script, so you just have to edit the prims and fill in a color from the color-picker. You can go with flesh tones or something more colorful to mimic eyeshadow.
Mesh lashes (1 prim)
Overall, I like these. If you want to do a lot of close-eyed pictures without spending tons of time PS’ing, this is worth the money. It’s not super realistic looking, but definitely better than PS’ing. This mesh eyelids pack also comes with a pair of mesh lashes, which were difficult to fit because the lower & upper lashes are one prim so you couldn’t position them separately, and they didn’t look that fine (kinda spiky).
I looove this outfit! This may be the cutest outfit I’ve work in a long time, it’s simple but so doll-like.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Bunny w/ Roots (Swedish)
Tres Blah – C88 Camille Outfit
G-Field – Strap Shoes “Alex” Suede
Muse – Nougatine Mini Necklace & Bracelet
HATS, HATS, HATS!! LaGyo has an amazing new Mademoiselle collection out, and there’s tons of hats and accessories. I’m in love with this new Splatter Roses Fascinator hat in Fuchsia. Look at the little droplet of paint on the paint brush!
Donna Flora is my favorite jewelry store in SL, but sometimes there’s a darling little dress that I just can’t resist. This new Liala dress is so adorable, and has gorgeous sculpted ruffles. I’m wearing it with the Donna Flora Glora jewelry set that comes with a necklace, earrings, and a ring. This jewelry set also includes a HUD to change the gemstones to 9 different colors.
What I’m Wearing:
LeLutka – Sugar hair (Bournville)
Donna Flora – Liala (Green Peach)
Donna Flora – Ramonia shoes (Cream)
Donna Flora – Gloria jewelry set
LaGyo – Splatter Roses Fascinator (Fuchsia)

Save yourself, don’t go to The Arcade. I normally skip rounds and avoid gacha events, but I saw something I wanted this week. Even though I told my friend I’d play maybe two or three times for these Rift Eyes from Avi Glam, I ended up playing 69 times at L$75 per pull. It’s five times more than I’d normally pay for an Avi Glam eyes fatpack, and honestly, I don’t even think I would’ve paid for a fatpack if it had been sold normally.
The thing with gacha is that it can be very addictive, especially if you want to win a rare and you don’t have a set budget, so you don’t have to stop. You can just keep playing until you win. I gave up on winning the Rare 2 pack on the first day after about forty or fifty pulls and decided to buy it second hand on Marketplace. Then the next day, when I didn’t see anything listed, I played some more. I haven’t played a machine with this much intensity in a long time, so it even surprised me how quickly I lost track of my spending or how fast I was hitting the buy button.
In hindsight, I should’ve stuck to my rule of playing only two or three times per machine, but I ended up going all in on two machines and playing way too many times to collect all the pieces.
Even though I find gacha frustrating, I get the dopamine rush it gives. If you win something you really want right away, it feels amazing. If you find yourself on the losing end, try to remember that you can always buy it later on Marketplace for a fraction of the cost of playing.
Eventually, I did see a few sets listed on Marketplace, but by then, I’d already spent nearly L$6,000 on one machine. Oops.
You always have stunning photos and look beautiful 🙂
This is my fav sl blog 🙂
