K, no more spamming everyone. CSR is like Christmas in August!! Woohoo! Can anyone give me suggestions of items I should buy from sponsor shops? I’ve already bought a bunch from Kurotsubaki this morning. I have 4 cards..woohoo! I’ll probably need about 10 to get everything I want. What should I buy????????

Minajunk has released new skins with 5 different makeups. These skins have the 'with hair' option for those that like the bald base with hair-color drawn on. Each skin is sold separately or inside a complete avatar package (skin, shape, hair, clothes, eyes, ao included).
I'm wearing the skin + outfit from the Ajisai avatar package. The hair is no mod, unfortunately, so I have not featured it here. I'm wearing SLink 'Lorelai' hair, which is no mod as well but is scripted to resize.

50L Friday is pretty cute this week but I have some gripes!!!
Things that annoys me about 50L Friday:
1. People who resell the item several weeks in a row!
2. People who recolor the same clothing items several times in a row!
3. People who have no item at all!!
4. People who set out more than one 50L item!
5. People who sell lower quality goods just cos it’s 50L! (i.e., they don’t include all the layers or it just doesn’t look as nice as the items they sell at regular price)
If this sounds like you, I’m totally talking about you.

Tiny Bird has two new hairstyles, the Heartbeats & Heartbeats II (worn in Ash Blonde here) includes a color-changing headband. Also, I love this comfy looking Surf Couture ‘Down the Shore Tee’ and super glam Kyoot ’50L Celebrity Harness Dress’.

Caroline gave me this floral head accessory from LODE. I’ve worn a lot of hair things from LODE, but they’re mostly sold as gacha items so not always easy to get the right color for my outfits.
Look at my sparkly shoes! I love these Mila Suede Boots from The Secret Store. These shoes includes a HUD to change the main suede colors and the accent textures. I immediately gravitated towards the sparkly accent cos I don’t have anything like it in SL.

I love ball gowns but when I put them on, the skirt is often much too long for my avatar. Is my avatar too short or are designers making these gowns for taller “model sizes”? The height script thing says my avatar is at 5’11 and even taller with heels on.
My suggestion to dress makers: please make your skirts for Short and Tall avatars! Provide two lengths so I don’t have to mod the skirt myself. When I tried to resize the skirt for the gown I’m wearing here, the sculpted bustle disappeared into my torso, so I had to drag it forward and modify the bustle parts to fit. It’s not too complicated, but it would be nice if it just worked right out of the box, cos there are lots of people who would find this simple task difficult.
This is why I don’t blog ball gowns more often, cos the skirt annoys me. A couple of brands are just my size, but some of them are made for avatars with Amazon proportions.
P.S. I’m wearing the Nardcotix ‘Ella English Victorian Gown’, it’s very pretty! My friend Wilma saw me wearing this and asked if I was taking pics for a Disney ad, lol!
My friend Umeko tipped me off about the fabulous free Mon Amie friends pose chair inside the *.:Mon amie-goer:.* group (check notices!). It's adorable and includes 5 different lounging poses changeable via clicking the cushion. The Mon Amie pose chair is by Tuli Asturias and has great shabby chic textures. This is perfect for my place, I mix and match a lot of items from beachy to french.. I do it all! 😀
Can you believe this casual outfit only cost me $2L? The pants are from Zaara's shop and they're on sale for $1l for a limited time (I have no idea when it ends, so hurry!). Then, while I was at Mon Amie, browsing around, I saw a free t-shirts and tank tops gift box, also by Tuli. I think I look darn good for $2L! 😀

LeLutka will be releasing the Flutter skins later today, and it comes with all new skin tones! There are 5 skin tones to choose from: Alba, Bisque, Bronzed, Ivory, and Mocha. Each skin tone includes Light and Dark brows, 12 makeups, Breast Enhancer on tattoo layer, 2 Hair Base (Sookie & Walnut color), and nail cover tattoo (to work with prim nails).
LeLutka – Flutter Dark | Light Brows
This new Flutter skin is pretty, but it’s not my favorite LeLutka skin to date. Unlike the previous Gem skin (which is perfect, btw), this skin has more highlights on the nose, and around the face, especially the upper cheeks. Depending on how bright your Windlight setting is, this might be too contrasted. My own Windlight setting is super bright, so I toned it down a bit for these pictures.
I have a preference for fuller and more defined lips, and on Flutter, the lips are definitely less defined and it’s probably better for people who like making thin lips as opposed to pouty lips. I’m used to LeLutka being a certain look (pouty, less mature) so this new look is a lil’ different and will take some getting used to!

I went to Happy Mood. All the birds and bunnies have CSR cards. I recommend the birds highly. God they’re gorgeous.
There are 2 dresses at BP, released pretty recently. Beautiful off-white confections. One comes with tears. Haven’t seen anyone blog them. Anyway they have CSR cards. Can’t remember if her hair has CSR cards but she released a LOT of hair over the past couple months. Some uber nice chignons.
And Omg we all need to go beat up Sai!!! Waaaaaayyyy too organized and efficient!!! 😉
oh hai. Theres a very cute dress that’s new at YumYum. it’s the first thing you see when you go inside the door farthest from the stamp machine. comes in 9 colors, sculpty/flexi mix skirts (3 skirt options) very very cute. I have the hot pink one and i’ve just been loving it. I got it a good week before CSR started and it had a card in it! Score!

I got myself nine stampcards, two of which I gave to a friend.
The gift by Mamesando is AMAZING! I can’t believe they gave it out for free. A very sweet gothic-lolita-like dress, with huge wings that only show up when you’re flying, the sweetest weapon I’ve seen so far (I just hope it works with CCS) and skin, shape, everything. I love it.
And the pink dress by Edelweiss is so adorable. I’m back to looking cute now hahaha
