I can’t get over how gorgeous the latest Erin skins from La Sylphide are, so I’m wearing it again today. Those pouty lips are to DIE for.

I’m really excited about Audrey because I think she looks nothing like what Tuli has done in the past – the face is completely different, and the brows and lips are just amazing. I have to tell you this hilarious story. I was looking for a place to take my blog photos today, so I searched for “combat” in the Destination Guide. I teleported to a region, set up my shot, and just as I was about to take the photo, someone teleported in and instantly killed me. I got sent home. So now I am at the Cannabis Airfield & Harbor region taking these photos instead.
My whole look today is inspired by the Lois set from Art&Ko. It comes with overalls, a top, belt, shoes, and even a little walkie talkie. This is such a change from what I usually wear. I don’t normally go for camouflage prints, but I decided to commit and go for a full combat look with a touch of glam.
The Aurelia hairstyle from Ade has the best hairline I have ever seen. I love how natural and well done it looks. Ade hair has really cute styles and the textures are really nice. I just wish the blondes were a little more platinum. The brunette colors are absolutely gorgeous.
Google Reader is closing on July 1st, 2013! This is the most awful news that I’ve read this week. After Gmail, Google Reader is my second favorite ‘service’ from Google. I’m really sad it’s going away, cos no other service has the convenience that Google Reader offered. I need a feed that is built into my Google dashboard, I don’t want to visit another site, and also be able to read it on my computer, phone, ipad, etc.

I snuck in early to snap some pictures so you’ll know what to expect tomorrow, when Skin Fair opens! My first impression is that this skin fair is extremely well organized, the layout is GREAT. Shops are arranged in a square, you can easily walk from one level to another and not miss any shops along the way.
There’s even a teleport board upon landing so you can visit just the shops you want if you’re in a hurry. I can’t wait for the official opening.. this will be a good one! 🙂
So you want a custom Bluesky name? If you have your own domain, setting it up is straightforward. I’m @gogo.juicybomb.com on Bluesky. I intended to write a tutorial, but fortunately, Bluesky already offers an excellent guide: How to verify your Bluesky account.
If you want to be known as @yourdomain.com, simply set up the TXT record at your hosting company or your domain registrar. If you have a domain name without a hosting plan, you should set up the TXT record with your domain name registrar. On the other hand, if you have a hosting plan associated with your domain name, you will configure the TXT record at your hosting company. If you want to be recognized as @anyword.yourdomain.com, create a subdomain and then add the TXT record on that subdomain. You can set up as many TXT records as you want to, even for different domains. They will all resolve to your account.
If you decide to obtain a custom name on Bluesky, be aware that as soon as you acquire your new name, you will have released your old name for anyone else to claim. For instance, I was initially @juicybomb.bsky.social. Once I changed to @gogo.juicybomb.com, I recreated juicybomb to ensure that no one else could use it. This gives me the flexibility to revert to it in the future, should I choose to discontinue using my domain. To revert, simply delete the username you are holding and rename your current account.
I have observed many Second Life residents using @name.secondlife.bio on Bluesky. However, I must caution you against this choice. This domain is not officially owned by Second Life or Linden Lab; rather, it is owned by a resident. While it is commendable that they are offering this service, if their domain is not renewed, you will lose your username. It will cease to resolve, prompting Bluesky to ask you to create a new one (although you will not lose your posts or account—only your username will change). Beyond the risk of losing your username, I also have concerns regarding impersonation. Since these accounts are not verified, anyone could request @yourname.secondlife.bio.
I am genuinely curious when Second Life will address the use of the domain name by SecondLife.bio, as it clearly violates their Domain Name Guidelines.
