SL Clothing Fair 2010
I was so lucky to get a sneak peek of SL Clothing Fair 2010. I love the theme this year, it’s different fashion capitols of the world, so every sim has a different build and theme. It’s so easy to navigate and you’re not in danger of going around in circles (like I was last year, cos I think it was the Pirates theme on all the sims).
Anyways, I bought more than I should have, as usual! I tried to pick some interesting costumes, but also ended up purchasing a few casual pieces, too. If you’re looking for a good place to start, I would suggest the CF Tokyo sim, where I found this fantastic Bunny outfit! I can’t remember which sims the other outfits were located on, so be sure to visit all of them.

Fancy Fairy Wings
This is how bad my ‘Objects’ folder have become…. I’ve just recently found these Fancy Fairy wings by Violane Vilotta that my friend Mel sent me ages ago! Fancy Fairy is a shop in SL, but also a shop in RL (http://www.fancyfairy.com) that you can order wings, costumes and jewelry from for very affordable prices.
I’m feeling artsy….
Pairing this with a really old Belly dancer’s outfit from Casa del Shai and awesome UBU rainboots.
La Sylphide Skins
I………. LOVE……………. SKINS!!! Whenever there’s a new skin released on the grid, my toes tingle. Seriously! Skins for me are > shoes > clothes > hair. But I love all those other stuff too!!! I just like standing on my pose stand waiting for a skin to rez, it’s relaxing 😛 Who needs aroma therapy?!
The latest Erin skins from La Sylphide arrived just in time for Autumn, with tons of beautiful rich & earthy makeups. I’m totally loving the glossy lips and that nose is perfection with just the right amount of shine.

my new apartment
SL was not being very nice to me today, I didn’t know that it put a line through all my pictures until I started cropping them! 🙁
I’ve been slacking off on fashion blogging a bit cos I bought a new skybox apartment! I’m really not a skybox dweller, but I really adore Lya Chau’s SweetBox apartment. I also have the Apartment 1.0, which is a more Japanese style apartment. If you’re looking for something fantastic, check out her shop on Marketplace. I stumbled upon this brand on Marketplace, I don’t think there is an in-world presence.

This skybox has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, and hallway. It was easy to decorate, I re-used some stuff I had in my inventory already (from past homes) and also purchased a couple of new things.
All the furniture and decors are from LISP Bazaar, MudHoney, Nordari, North West, artilleri, and a couple of artwork pieces from Mijn Boa (she’s no longer in SL). I’m almost out of prims, so this is it for now! I’ll probably personalize it a bit more and try to squeeze more stuff in LOL.
What Next, North West
I love girlie home decor! What Next has a new Mirabelle ‘Tea for Two’ set that would make a lovely addition to any home or skybox. I love the texture-changing chairs and table cloth, and adorable poses built into the chairs.

Snowboard Kitty
Let’s go snowboarding today! I’m at the Lake Tahoe Ski Resort @ Grand Canyon North, using this gorgeous snow sim as a backdrop for my photos today.
I sold my soul for these Ski Goggles from Remarkable Oblivion (I really did), and still don’t have the Rare Boots!!! Finding a nice mesh snowboard outfit is impossible, so I improvised by wearing the Belle outfit from Severed Garden, it’s so adorable!
