Hi guys! I’m trying to catch up on this weekend’s new releases from some of my favorite brands in SL. I guess things have been a little overwhelming with fairs, hunts, and my site had a trojan attack!
Have you seen these two adorable new tops from Friday? The Film Crew t-shirt has images of vintage movie posters on ’em and they’re so adorable. One thing I’ve always loved about Friday’s t-shirts is the sculpted sleeves! If you’re looking for a sexy layered tank top, check out the Twofer tank. You may have seen me wear the Vanessa hairstyles from LeLutka for a few days now, and I’m happy to report that they’re now on sale at LeLutka! There are 8 hairstyles total, and there’s a mix of long casual styles and short retro styles.

Truth Hair
Truth – Tia | Riley | Poppy (in Swedish)
Truth has just released 3 adorable new hairstyles!! I love all of them, as usual. I love braids, head bands, bangs.. they’re all super duper cute.
I thought I would be over the ~smile~ emote today, but I’m still loving it. So hello Second Life, this is me abusing the emote again. CHEESE!
I have to get something off my chest. Truth names his hair after people who have suggested hairstyles or friends or random pretty names. Well, I saw someone say they would not wear the Lizzie hairstyle because it’s named after Lizzie Lexington (or maybe that’s just a coincidence?). All I have to say to that is, don’t be petty! Cos when stuff is named after people I don’t care for, I still wear it. I won’t deny myself a cute hairstyle. And there’s plenty of items named people I don’t like in SL, should I avoid those items to punish the creator(s)?
Anyways, get over yourself.
The Lizzie hairstyle from Truth has adorable twin braids. Also, while you’re there, check out the Gogo hairstyle!! I spent forever there looking for my hairstyle so I could purchase it in the Swedish texture. I don’t have a bunch of Truth styles in Swedish Blonde cos they were older releases, and Swedish Blonde is a fairly new texture. I wish there was a big fat Swedish Blonde pack you could buy for ALL Truth hairstyles.

Morantique Mona Lisa Skybox
Morantique has a gorgeous Mona Lisa Skybox that would make a great backdrop for photos or a party room (it comes with a pool!). You can view the skybox rezzed in world here. I loved it when I saw it! Rezzing the skybox is super easy, and you can furnish with furniture made specifically for the skybox or with your own.
I really like the bedroom set, living room set, and matching vanity. Everything you see in the picture is included inside the furnished package – even the plants and lights!

Long Vacation
It’s madness how much I spent to win every piece of the Long Vacation gacha set. I’ve been shifting from retro-style to 80s-style in SL. I don’t remember when I started wearing Amitomo or buying cute little builds from Haikei, but I’m so glad these two brands exist in SL. I desperately needed new brands in my SLife, so I’m glad to have found a handful of cute stores with consistent releases to inspire me.
Have you seen the delicious new animation add-on from LeLutka? Lol Bee Bop and Wooly Mammoth are two more food-centric animations to keep you satisfied. I’m thinking maybe LeLutka should release a teeth brushing animation next, that would be so cute!
