Warning: Teasing ahead… these skins are not available until December 20th!
Charlotte Morellet, genius creator of Soda Skins which brought us the awesome little Soda Skin Designer website is getting her own sim! The Soigne sim is still under construction but I can show you one of the new skins that will be debuting very soon.
This is The Model, one of three faces in the Soda ‘Persona Skins’ series.
12 different makeups and so many gorgeous combinations!

Every holiday in SL has pretty much become free gifts overload. We’re totally spoiled by fantastic designers and I love it!!!!!!!! I started out my grid wide egg hunt at Canimal sim, but any other participating shop is a good starting point too.
Canimal
artilleri – Charlotte dress (pink) – Soooo lovely. I didn’t see this color sold in store.
I love.love.love this dress
Tuli Bunny Shirt + miaSofia classic blue jeans
I haven’t gone to every store listed on the hunt, so I’ll probably try to do more tonight. Oh… and, there’s a hunt for a great bunny outfit at Digital Knickers! I think all of this ends at midnight SLT, so go go go!
If you’re not on X (Twitter), you really should be. I use a few different platforms to keep up with Second Life news, but lately I’ve been enjoying X more because it gives me a nice mix of real world updates too. The algorithm is surprisingly good at surfacing tech content I care about, like the latest in AI. Today I came across a fun tweet that inspired me to try something new. I turned my Second Life avatar into a figurine.
All you have to do is go to Google Gemini and enter this prompt:
Create a 1/7 scale commercialized figurine of the characters in the picture, in a realistic style, in a real environment. The figurine is placed on a computer desk. The figurine has a round transparent acrylic base, with no text on the base. The content on the computer screen is a 3D modeling process of this figurine. Next to the computer screen is a toy packaging box, designed in a style reminiscent of high-quality collectible figures, printed with original artwork. The packaging features two-dimensional flat illustrations.
From photo to figurine style in just one prompt.
People are having fun turning their photos into images of custom miniature figures, thanks to nano-banana in Gemini. Try a pic of yourself, a cool nature shot, a family photo, or a shot of your pup.
For my Gemini photo, it took a few tries with Second Life snapshots before the app accepted one. Eventually I uploaded a full body shot and within seconds it generated the cutest figurine photo. I even tweaked the prompt to add some flowers to my desk. To get good results, you’ll want a clear picture of your avatar against a plain background. I was impressed that it captured my clothing and accessories so well and it really does look like Gogo in SL.
Try this and let me know what you think! Don’t you want a doll of your Second Life avatar? I know I do!
AOHARU has just released these DownVest jackets that comes with tons of options. You can wear the vest alone, or with a flannel shirt beneath (included). The vest also comes with an attached hoodie with a fur or no fur option. It looks cosy! I couldn't find a country scene with snow to photograph in, so I went to AM Radio's "The Space Between These Trees" sim for photos. I think it was snow before…. (not sure).
Happy Easter Second Life! I’m sitting in front of someone’s home, their porch area is so charming! I hope they don’t mind! Even as I was snapping this photo, I realized how crazy mesh dresses and skirts look you’re sitting in SL. Ignore the fact that my skirt is stiff and flipping up, and just enjoy the nice photo 🙂
My favorite thing about outfit today, is the Lemon Crown from Lark. I like sunny Yellows, ice cold Lemonade, and warm Summer days. Don’t you?

Hi! I know I feature AOHARU a lot on this site, but everything is seriously affordable and cute there. I've built my outfit around these amazing mini cowboy hats! Last year I bought this ridiculously adorable and big hair from Gurl 6, which was only worn once! But it's so perfect for the hat and I'm really glad I bought it when it was on sale! Gurl 6 sells limited editions hair of the month, and this is the June 2008 L.E. hair. Here's my tip about limit edition items, even if you slightly want it… go ahead and splurge! Cos when it's gone, it's gone!
I'm wearing the ~momo~ Watermelon heaven dress! Momo does cute sooo well! <3
