Every couple of months, Belle Epoque gives out a L$500 store credit. It’s generous, but also smart marketing, because it doesn’t just bring traffic back to the main store, it gets people posting on social media too. I always rush to spend mine the second I get it because I’m paranoid I’ll forget and it’ll expire, assuming it even does.
I picked up the Floria dress from Belle Epoque in Beige. I normally never wear beige or brown tones, but something about this screamed Montana-inspired look to me.
And yes, I used AI to edit the photos. I’m shameless about it now. But the photo didn’t magically appear out of nowhere either. Every item I’m wearing was still created in Second Life.
I normally don’t edit my photos much at all and usually just post raw SL screenshots, but part of me wanted to push back against the anti-AI stance from the vocal minority. You really can’t tell other residents what they can or can’t do in this game, especially when it isn’t against TOS.
I’m still amused watching Second Life residents argue endlessly about AI while brands quietly use it all over their advertising and profit from it. If people want to lecture residents about using AI, maybe start by asking your favorite brands to stop using it too.
Alchemy creator Constanza Volare released a line of colorful, bright, FUN little bathing suits/ballerina outfits! I……. LOVE…….. HOT PINK. AND LIME. Below I’m pairing the Sweety Lime and Sweety Fuschia outfit with the latest hair from Detour. This new Achtung style includes a resizer script so you can touch & resize with ease.

I felt like Punk Ballerina Barbie with the Achtung hair, so I tried on the HoH Carrie style and it was adorable!!!

A couple of days ago, I decided to visit Collabor88 to snag this adorable Maple Dress from Tres Blah. Typically, my event visits are quick—I know what I want, grab it, and leave. So, I teleported home, slipped into my new dress, and then, to my surprise, received an IM from a mysterious stranger.
Long story short, he had seen me at Collabor88 and invited me to a dance club. Feeling adventurous, I agreed. But once we arrived, I realized I was too casually dressed for the very formal venue.
This encounter got me thinking… For the men of Second Life, approaching ladies at events is surprisingly clever. It’s the perfect setting to meet stylish, well-dressed women! While I’m not seeking anything serious in Second Life, I occasionally do enjoy accepting a dance with a kind stranger.
To complete my outfit, I picked up these stunning Alyssa Heels from G Field. I used to be a huge fan of G Field and even blogged about them frequently. Their store used to be right next to my region! However, with the advent of mesh bodies, my interest shifted elsewhere. Recently, while casually searching for new PBR shoes, I was thrilled to discover this pair of heels priced at just L$200 for a fatpack. Amazing! It’s exciting to see that G Field is back and making PBR shoes again.
