Annyka Bekkers of Blowpop has a new brand called Infinity. Meet Elizabeth, the soon-to-be released skins from Inifinity, which features the same hand-drawn type skins as Blowpop and they're so pretty!! Immediately I noticed the freckles which are subtle and lovely. They look youthful on, which I love and totally fresh faced. The Elizabeth skins shown here comes in six different makeups (with hair option) and three skin tones: Light Cream, Fresh Cream, Heavy Cream. I have a craving for sweets just typing out those delicious skin tone names!! YAY!

I’ll admit that I meant to clean my inventory over the Christmas holiday, but I didn’t do anything. My inventory is still a mess. I’ve also been quietly boycotting the weekend sales for months leading up to the end of the year, because I just couldn’t handle the frustration anymore. I’d see an outfit I loved, only to realize it was an “old item” that the brand never updated for LaraX, even though this body has been out for over two years. On top of that, I get overwhelmed when weekend event galleries turn into endless scrolling through hundreds of items. For my own sanity, I decided to just skip all of it.
That said, I did cave this past weekend when I spotted a skin at a weekend event for L$99 for the fatpack. Some temptations are just too hard to ignore. I’m wearing the Nika skin from Not Found. Normally, I don’t think much of Not Found skins, even though I’ve bought several over time. I usually pass them by because there’s often something that doesn’t work for me: too much shading, blurry shading, heavy pores, things like that. But when I tried on Nika, I saw real potential. I knew that if I layered enough tattoo fixes from Izzie’s, I could make it feel like mine. So here it is, with plenty of tattoo fixes doing their magic.
One thing I really wish skin creators would stop doing forever is baking eyelashes directly onto skins. If they absolutely must include them, they should at least provide a no-lash version, the way some brands already do. I do have a couple of eye layers that can fix it, but honestly, I’d rather just start with a clean skin.
It’s only a few days into 2026, and I already know I want to continue ignoring weekend sales for the rest of the year. I don’t want to overwhelm myself with piles of old, cheap stuff anymore. What are your New Year’s resolutions for Second Life?
Valentine’s Day festivities in Second Life are a joy, regardless of your virtual relationship status. As someone who’s happily hitched in the non-digital world, I’ve always roamed through this virtual landscape solo. Honestly, it’s never been an issue for me; I adore getting into the holiday spirit and dressing up for the occasion.
My exploration last year took me to the delightful Dunk & Hug a Linden & Mole Event, a first for me, and it was incredibly fun. Donned as a charming Victorian lady, I had such a wonderful time that I’m tempted to revive that persona for this year’s celebration. The allure of that period’s romantic charm is simply irresistible to me.
It’s never too early for some Red and Pink! I’m wearing the new Incanto Lingerie in Red from Fishy Strawberry! I loooove my FS lingerie, they’re my go-to for sexy lingerie sets.
I really hate PS’ing my pics and hardly ever do it, but today I fixed my leg a bit cos the pose made an awkward break/dent in the upper thigh. I’m not a PS expert (not even good) so this was a quick sloppy fix with a lil liquidfy. For some reason, I wanted to fix just that area, but I’m OK with the sharp edge on the torso.
Do you guys care if my pics are not touched up? I know I could PS avatar joints to smooth them out, but I think if I’m showing a pose…. I should show it honestly. Btw, the left pose is from Glitterati Family, included with the Bear and the right pose is from POSEUR, Lil Minx 9.
CUPCAKES has just released the new Seduction skins! Each skin tone has 10 makeups and freckles version. I chose the Cameo skin tone because I like the light tan but also because the brows are brown. Depending on which skin tone you purchase, the brows will be either brown or black. Brow options would be something that I think a lot of people would want, even more so than freckles.
I really like all the makeup choices, but especially 'Natural' since I love it when skin creators do the 'fresh-faced' look well. The lips on these are gorgeous! Here's a close up photo:

Elle is trying her best to keep up with blogging – well her human is at least. But, alas, she got the covids (yes, I am vaxed) and got a bit behind with things. The one thing that made her human happy during the brief times she was able to log in was being able to dress her dolly, Elle, and decorate her new Beach Stilt and one of the wave sims that was released recently…YAY!
