Everybody loves poses!! Here's five fun ones I found at the PFFIOU pose shop by Laleeta Xue, and they are only $20L each! I know, a total bargain considering I didn't have to make these myself and they look really cute. I have a bunch of normal 'stands' so it's really refreshing when I see these 'movement' type poses because they come in handy for more expressive photos.
My friend Fay sent me the most beautiful gown from Sofia. It’s the Cher gown and sandals, exclusively available at The Arcade. With our fancy new gowns, we decided to twin and revisit the formal dance club for another twirl. But the second we got to the club, Fay changed her gown at the door, leaving me standing there in this elegant gown with a long chapel train, looking all glamorous by myself.
I wanted to see if my initial impression of the club was accurate, and it turns out, it was. To capture this quirky experience, I filmed it to practice working with crowded scenes and to show you why I find this club so bizarre. There’s a bunch of guys just standing around, silent and rarely asking anyone to dance. Maybe they’re bots? I have no clue what they’re waiting for. The people dancing mostly came with their partners. After awkwardly dancing alone with Fay for what felt like ages, I accepted a quick dance from someone and then left.
I really love the concept of a formal club; it’s such a great chance to practice filming different angles. But finding a dance partner who matches your height, aesthetics, will actually ask you to dance, and isn’t hitting on you the whole time seems like an impossible ask.
Dancing is a popular activity in Second Life, enjoyed by everyone, whether solo or with friends. I haven’t frequented clubs much before, but I’m thinking of starting! I’ll give them all a try. If you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments!
Exile has just released 3 fabulous new hairstyles!! I feel like SL’s platinum Barbie in these hairstyles. I’m wearing Karen, Love Song 2, and Zoe in Harlow texture. If you were a fan of Exile’s Love Song style you will love Love Song 2!!
BOOM will be releasing this Marin Ray set in a few colors for the upcoming Collabor88 event (starts April 8th)! The theme is for April is French New Wave, so be sure to check it out! I’m also wearing the cheLLe French New Wave eyeliner that will also be available, so be sure to check it out!
Do you guys want these bracelets? They’re FREE! Ohmarie made them as a gift for her brand (look for the Easter eggs, at Ohmarie) and she also made a JuicyBomb version for me, and you! I’m giving away a copy of the Juicybomb bracelet at the Juicy Cafe. When you enter, look for the key holder box hanging near the front door, it is sitting on the box.
What I’m Wearing:
Exile – Famous For Nothing (BabyDoll)
BOOM – Marin Ray (Coquille)
cheLLe – (Eyeliner) French New Wave Eyeliner (Pink)
Collaborations — everyone’s doing them. And honestly, it makes sense. In Second Life, brand collabs are a smart way to cross-promote and combine strengths to create something really solid.
I’ve always thought Maximillion Grant of LOGO fame was an incredible animator. Long before LeLutka mesh heads came onto the scene, there was LOGO, and I still think the Chloe head was one of the cutest to ever hit the grid. It had such expressive animations, and for that reason alone, it’s always had a special place in my heart.
So when I saw the Truth x LOGO collab, I was genuinely excited. It’s something different. Animesh hair isn’t something you see every day in SL, and it’s refreshing to see some innovation happening. Of course it makes sense for Truth to be part of that. It’s an OG brand teaming up with another OG. Both have been around for years and really know what they’re doing.
I feel like such a ‘70s doll in this Mood hair paired with the Striped Jumpsuit from Shifuku. I’ve always had a soft spot for updos, especially when they come with a few wispy bangs to soften the look. If you’re looking for something comfortable but cute to lounge in this holiday weekend, you can grab the jumpsuit at Anthology.
Some of Cajsa’s dearest friends have created a tribute event to honor the memory of Cliff, her RL cat that recently passed away. We’re also having a 3-day sales event with proceeds donated to the Oregon Humane Society. You can read more about the event at Kess’ blog.
✿ cheLLe ✿ is donating 100% of the proceeds from these new Leopard Spots back tattoos, so we hope that you can come out and support a good cause, and also leave your condolences and view cute Cliff pictures 🙂
Prost, Second Life! Willkommen zu den Biergarten, Ich heisse Gogo, eure wunderschön Gastgeberin.
I had my heart set on this Oktoberfest set from Erratic for The Arcade, especially the Barvarian Dirndl. The dress is awesome, however the included socks did not come with an applier for the SLink Physique body, only the SLink’s foot. I do hope there’s an upgrade, although unlikely, since it’s gacha, how would the creator know who to send updates to? Still, I would love to have been able to wear the socks!
My beautiful Day The World Went Away hair is from Exile, for the September round of Uber. The theme this month is Apocalypse, but this hair could work with casual outfits too. I’m rocking it in my beer garden.
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel Skin
Exile – Day The World Went Away @ Uber/September
Erratic – Oktoberfest Bavarian Dirndle, Riemchen Pumps, & decor
LaGyo – Matilda Earrings (07)
Yummy – Moon Princess Ring (Purple/Yellow)
Thank you so much! What a pleasure to see my poses so well used and you look gorgeous (ha ha!) !
Once more thank you 🙂
By the way it’s just Pffiou! without the capital letters but it sounds good any way it’s written 😀 !
Yay, go Laleeta!
Gogo, great post!
