Rita Groshomme, the other half of the fabulous Curio brand, has just released some new 'Rita Eyes' and each eye color includes small, medium, and large versions as well as prim attachments. Prim eyes are great if you want 2 different eye colors at once! Shown above are different shades of blue and green, they're so nice!
Sasawe Capalini, one of the creators of Stiletto Moody shoes has decided to sell them under his own label. I guess this is what happens when sweatshop designers feel that they have not been compensated properly. These shoe are identical to the ones sold at Stiletto Moody, but are priced cheaper and with a different label.
This situation totally confuses me! The facts are:
1. Stiletto Moody contracted Sasawe Capalini to create shoes for her label.
2. It’s perfectly within his right to resell these under his own label because… HE MADE THEM. Unless they have a contract stating otherwise.
3. They’re both ripping off Christian Louboutin designs.
I wonder if we will be seeing more shoes from Sasawe Capalini — perhaps the same exact ones produced for Stiletto Moody shoes but cheaper?
The long-awaited SLink Mesh Hands have arrived! These hands are so beautiful, I probably won’t ever take them off. Finally, my avatar can express herself with over a dozen hand gestures, instead of being limited to the few default ones from SL.
The hands are rigged mesh, so you won’t need to resize or adjust them in any way for a perfect fit. Included in the package is a HUD to tint skin tone, a nails HUD, and 15 pairs of hands with different gestures. I like to mix-and-match the hands to fit whatever pose I’m using.
SLers have always complained about ugly hands and feet, and now that we’ve had pretty mesh feet for a while, it’s time to update with mesh hands too! Check ’em out at SLink.
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel – Kumi (Peach) Pure (bwnbrow/crease)
Truth – Jemima w/Roots (Treacle)
Blowpop – Yvette (Pink)
SLink – Mesh Rigged Hands
The ALBERO Anniversary Hunt starts today April 4th – April 19th! I did a quick run through and found some adorable items. This hunt takes a bit of work, you have to locate the boxes from each participating shop to get a keyword. Then use each keyword at the correct main store to get the item. I know it sounds complicated so ask a friend for help! 🙂
[ anuenue – AppleTdress | Hal*Hina – Bright Green One Piece ]
These 2 dresses are found at the hunt!
[ Gisele – Crown for Estienne ]
What hunt is complete without a crown? This gorgeous one is from Gisele!
Every year, right before Thanksgiving, Black Friday deals start rolling in, both in real life and in Second Life. I always think to myself that maybe I should’ve bought less throughout the year, because by the time the sales arrive, I already have everything I wanted.
This year, I made a deliberate choice to buy slowly and only buy things I’ll actually wear right away. If you’ve been in SL as long as I have, you’ve probably bought everything twice or maybe five times already. I found the sweetest holiday accessories just by searching my own inventory. Most of what I’m wearing today isn’t new. Some pieces I bought years ago and never wore or blogged.
With how the economy is going in real life, even if you’re personally unaffected, it feels smart to scale back a little and get more joy out of what you already have or pick up items you truly want when they’re on sale, not just because they’re on sale.
The thing with Black Friday in Second Life is that it’s not that exciting anymore. Everything’s already on sale all year. Brands also exclude newer releases from the sale, sometimes the last three months of items, so there’s not much of a deal for anyone who shops often like I do.
I’m trying to have the longest Christmas ever in Second Life, so as far as I’m concerned, it starts now. The holiday season’s here, and I’m fully ready for twinkling lights and vacation.
These new ✿ cheLLe ✿ Tropical eyeshadows goes so well with Bubblegum colored hair. I can’t wait to do a bunch of looks using the different colors from this pack.
Hello from Spakle Enchanted! A visit to Sparkle’s region feels like stepping directly into her dream, bathed in shades of enchanting purple—her favorite color. Today, I’m embracing her inspiration by adding purple touches to my outfit.
Despite common beliefs, my preferred color isn’t pink, but rather white. I often opt for white because it complements everything, allowing for colorful accents. The Boho Lace Dress from Fashionably Dress in White is perfect as it includes three additional shades of beige, offering versatility; sometimes, pure white is too stark, and a softened eggshell hue feels more natural.
The fabric of this dress, along with its high yet tasteful side split, is definitely my style. If you follow Second Life updates, you may know the upcoming Child Avatar policy for avatars that appear under 18—this doesn’t relate to the user’s actual age, but the avatar’s appearance. Under these new rules, you couldn’t wear something as revealing as this dress. The “modesty layer” is imminent! [See more on this on Inara Pey’s blog]
