bikini in Pink. There are loads more prints & colors available, but
these two are my favorites.. for now!
I'm
wearing the realistic SLink Barefoot, they're perfect for the beach and
totally easy to match with my skintone. I really like that they're
resizable too, so my feet are proportional to my legs.

I’ve been wearing the Lumi skin from Glam Affair since it was released back in March. In real life time, that’s not very long at all. In Second Life time, though, it feels like ages ago. But does time even matter when you like a skin? You could probably wear the same skin for years and never feel dated, especially with the current state of Second Life. Until LeLutka releases the new PURE mesh heads, most of us are still wearing EvoX heads, and skin designers continue to create beautiful 2048 skins with the same level of skill and quality. There is really no rush to change your look unless you want to.
Glam Affair – Alix skin | w/ Tattoo Layers added to soften the pores/freckles
That said, in Gogo time, four months feels like a long time. I spend an embarrassing amount of time staring at my own face, after all. So today, even though it seems like Glam Affair releases dozens of skins every month, I finally found a new face. The new Alix skin from Glam Affair is available at Equal10. I like most Glam Affair skins, but if I’m going to call something my face, it has to feel instantly familiar. It’s that little moment of, “Ah, there you are,” when I put it on. That’s exactly how I felt with Alix, even though I already knew I would be reaching for Izzie’s to remove the freckles and pores. As you can see, I did just that, and I love the result. The original version is beautiful too, and honestly, a lot of skins in Second Life are released looking more like my edited version. People then use Izzie’s or other tattoo layers to add freckles, pores, highlights, and other details back in. I sometimes go in the opposite direction and remove those details instead. The fact that we can customize skins so easily now is one of my favorite things about Second Life.
ISON recently had a 40% off sale, so I picked up something I do not normally wear, a leather outfit. Paired with the new Truth Verse hairstyle, the whole look reminds me of an anime baddie, and I am kind of obsessed with it. Maybe I need to stop wearing pastel pink and white all the time and lean into dark leather. Then again, let’s not get carried away.

I totally remembered Bubblegum Weekends this week (I missed it last weekend), and this week I’m feeling a lil’ Minty. I tinted the new Head Mistress Wind in the Willows (White) hair to a light Mint Green, and it tinted really well. You can’t tell in the pictures but I tinted some strands slightly darker than the others to try and add some depth. Some hair textures don’t really tint well, but I find that most are tint-able, and they will look fine for pictures.

Aranel Ah of BOOM has just released the Good and Bad Girl set and the Guilty & Innocent set. Each set includes two colors with different sayings on the panties. These are great and fun! Are you a Bad Girl? Good Girl? Guilty or Innocent? Don't say it, wear it on your panties 😀

I have to show you this sneak peek of SLink's soon to be released Lorelei hair! It is a casual side ponytail and perfect in every way. The sculpts and textures are amazing and includes a texture changing HUD! You just wear the HUD, click on the color you want and the hair re-textures itself. It's pretty damn amazing, and I loooooooooove it.

The new land store is amazing and awesome and an impulsive buyer’s dream come true!!! The old land store was a clumsy interface and trying to locate your existing island was hell. The new land store includes a search feature!!! If you want to be next to your favorite sim, all you have to do is search the name and see if there are spaces near it.
Even though the new land store is still in beta, I think it works flawlessly!! Delivery time of my new island was 1 MINUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as I confirmed the order, a confirmation letter was sent to my email, along with a “your island has been created” message!
Other items on my wishlist regarding land: waived or minimal island renaming fee and moving fee 🙂
The SLink barefoot Bamboo look better than mine. Your prim feet has a little shine so they match the skin on the legs better. I have the “Beady” style, and I don’t think they have such a nice shine and shades. Is it a upgrade?
Hi Marianne! I have no idea if there were different versions, I thought they were all released around the same time, with the same features (and different decorative anklets). I just tinted the feet to match my skin, and took a snapshot. The shine is on the feet itself, no additional photoshopping. But send Siddean a notecard, she would know better than I do. 🙂
