Welcome to the Adult Hub, a region meant for residents over 18. It seems that Second Life has built a tasteful adult playground with beaches, clubs, pools, dancing areas, camping areas, waterfalls, all for new residents. New residents are guided to enter the Adult Hub through a portal at the Welcome Hub. Established residents can come too, and they can teleport directly to the Adult Hub. To enter, you must change your maturity rating to Adult and agree to the region rules. However, there’s no real age verification in Second Life, so technically it’s still possible that underage players could access the Adult Hub.
When I heard about Second Life launching a sex region, I was prepared to be grossed out. Ew, why? Why does Second Life want to attract people who come here wanting sex on day 1? Why make that the opening experience for new residents? But I visited the Adult Hub with an open mind and left with a deeper understanding of why Second Life made this.
Back in December 2023, Second Life teased that “Something Spicy” was coming. It was this Adult Hub, but for reasons that didn’t launch then, it launched now in March 2026. Is Second Life now ready for adults to come, along with their shiny new (sorta working) mobile app?
This is an adult game, and some adult areas in Second Life aren’t moderated. Anything goes. It can be scary and overwhelming. This feels more like a controlled environment for adults entering that side of Second Life, especially those who may appreciate moderation and tasteful decor.
Not everything on this region is about sex. There are lots of seating areas set up for conversations. Sex is one activity, but it’s well hidden inside the furniture. You don’t see pose balls anywhere, and the hints of sex are subtle.
My time wandering around this region as a 1 day old avatar, I only met established residents. Not a single new resident in sight. Not yet. A Second Life Mentor greeted me, and everyone I encountered was nice. They flocked to my noob avatar, introduced themselves, and tried to include me in conversation. That was nice. I think current residents are really trying to make new people feel welcome and stay. Maybe for the platform’s survival.
Even though I was prepared to run away from here and never look back, I think I’d go back as my main avatar. It’s an Adult Hub, but it’s not just a sex space. It feels more like a general adult social area where different things can happen. Of course my experience could be rare. This region could eventually turn into a full sex dungeon, dicks everywhere, nude avatars everywhere. But at least today, everyone I saw was wearing clothes. There are rules though, so be sure to read them while you’re here.
My overall thought is that this is nice. There should be more well designed areas like this for all types of experiences. I guess Second Life felt Adult was the draw, and I hope their gamble pays off.
One of the largest feedback that I’ve seen about the Lelutka mesh heads is that they’re too pouty. The latest update allows your favorite Lelutka mesh heads to smile, part lips, and express herself with more than just the pout. I forgot to take a picture of the HUD, but you can view it on Sasy’s blog and see all the different faces too.
I am wearing the Aria face today, something I have not worn before in my previous coverage of LeLutka mesh heads. I think this face is a lot closer to Gogo’s face than the others, the face shape is really round and feels like ‘me’. If I could adjust the eyes shape to be rounder, it would almost be perfect. I am wearing skin by Glam Affair, it really suits these mesh heads.
Are you as stubborn about skins as I am? I will usually wait for appliers from my favorite brand (can you guess what brand that is?) before committing to a new mesh head. However, I’m flexible about certain mesh heads cos I know that not all brands will look good on every mesh face shape. So that’s something to keep in mind when you’re shopping for mesh heads. Buy it if it looks good with skins that are available!
I wear SLink’s Physique body almost exclusively, so I haven’t noticed that there is a fit issue or that not a lot of brands are offering mesh clothing for Maitreya’s Lara body until this past week. You can read about the issue over at Sophee Mojo’s blog. I’m not a creator so I’m pretty vague about what “weights” are, but apparently it’s a pretty important file and creators need it to make clothing fit right for any body. Not too many creators have the full kit for Maitreya – just 24 brands for mesh clothing, according to the official list. If the brand is not listed, it’s safe to assume that they’re just guessing the right fit, so clothing for Maitreya’s Lara may or may not fit well.
I noticed that issue today while wearing this dress from Fishy Strawberry (not listed), the straps doesn’t really fit around the shoulders. As I said above, I always wear SLink’s body and thankfully, my favorite brands are already listed, but if yours isn’t and you wear Maitreya’s Lara body, that’s something to keep in mind when shopping, always demo!
Total Betty has just released the Lash Factors Collection (shown above are some of my favorites). They were super easy to fit and there's something for everyone. The lashes are $100L per pair or $900L for the entire fatpack of 12 styles! This will probably be more than enough lashes to keep even the pickiest lash-lovers happy.
Here's what you get in the fatpack:

Hello from Spakle Enchanted! A visit to Sparkle’s region feels like stepping directly into her dream, bathed in shades of enchanting purple—her favorite color. Today, I’m embracing her inspiration by adding purple touches to my outfit.
Despite common beliefs, my preferred color isn’t pink, but rather white. I often opt for white because it complements everything, allowing for colorful accents. The Boho Lace Dress from Fashionably Dress in White is perfect as it includes three additional shades of beige, offering versatility; sometimes, pure white is too stark, and a softened eggshell hue feels more natural.
The fabric of this dress, along with its high yet tasteful side split, is definitely my style. If you follow Second Life updates, you may know the upcoming Child Avatar policy for avatars that appear under 18—this doesn’t relate to the user’s actual age, but the avatar’s appearance. Under these new rules, you couldn’t wear something as revealing as this dress. The “modesty layer” is imminent! [See more on this on Inara Pey’s blog]
AMBIANCE has just released the Athena Living room set, so I've decided to upgrade my living room so it would match my AMBIANCE kitchen. Like other AMBIANCE furniture, this set includes a texture-changing menu, built-in poses, and tons of accessories.
The Athena Living Room set has 4 different themes (Black, Blue, Cream, and Earthtones), changeable via a menu. I really love this feature because I change my mind constantly, so it's nice to know that I have options to go for a rich dark theme or a light and airy theme.

*Not shown here is the matching book case & matching fireplace because my living room is too small!
Five new hairstyles at LeLutka, they’re so amazing. I can’t get enough of this Marilyn Blonde color, though I wish these were offered without roots too. I know roots is all the rage now, but I don’t want it on every single hairstyle! Offering two versions in the same color pack would be awesome.
oooh pretty pretty pretty pretty!!!!
