Imperial Elegance is having a 50% sale on all single poses & fatpacks! I remembered that I needed new gun poses, so I went there with my guns to try it out. Like any good game heroine, I did it in high heels and a very short dress. These single poses were $25L each and they worked great with the sculpted skirt, yayy!
I love any reason to play with my Breach G18 gun, and stomping around the Chaos sim being all weird.. 😀
In addition to gunslinger poses, I found these great Handbag Modeling poses perfect for taking photos with bags.
Mesh hair doesn’t sink into your shoulders
Mesh hair moves with you (Sort of..)
Cons…
Mesh hair is NOT modifiable
Mesh hair has no movement (like flexi)
I can’t think of anything else to add to the list. Of the few mesh hairstyles that I’ve tried, I really think it is just “OK”. I kind of miss the flexi hair that swooshes around as you dance around in SL. Also, I don’t like that mesh hair seems like it’s ‘stuck’ to your body, can seem unnatural when you’re moving around in-world.
Hi guys! I am kicking off your Monday with a more in-depth preview of the Tuli Eva skins! The release is just 3 days away, so I hope I’m not being too much of a tease.
Eva comes in 10 makeups, 2 cleavage options, and three brows! Tuli pretty much has everything that *I* like covered — I love regular boobs & a bit of a cleavage boost, and I loooove different brows choices to match a variety of hair colors.
Tuli – Eva brows – Light – Brown – Black
Here’s a preview of all 10 of the makeups available:
This face is so sexy! The skin tone & texture is so realistic and so easy to photograph. The skin looks so different on my shape, but that’s what I really like about it. I feel like this skin has a more mature look, and begs to be worn with darker hair. For me, Tuli’s skins have always been better for Brunettes, so that’s what I usually wear it with.
How I choose my hair color for any skin depends on how the skin looks on me — does it scream Blonde, or Brunette? Even though most skins are pretty versatile and works with many hair colors, there’s always a “perfect” hair color for any skin, that will just work together to make everything more realistic.
Tuli Eva skins are available on March 18th @ Tuli’s Main Store on Journey.
Let’s talk a bit more about the new Ridgewood Enclave Commercial shops.
It’s clear that Second Life is still learning and refining things as they go. Since launch just a few weeks ago, we’ve already seen several covenant revisions, likely to better serve residents and clarify expectations. Personally, I’m fine with the rules as they stand, and I plan to keep my current shop long term. I’m Premium Plus Lifetime, after all. I’m not going anywhere.
When I first blogged about these shops two weeks ago, I was settled in a different region with my friends. We hadn’t planned to move. These shops are always in high demand, and being together matters most to us. But when new regions released last week, an opportunity came up, so we decided to move together. We abandoned our shops and claimed new ones at Plaza Mercantile.
I couldn’t be happier. We’re together again, and this time the region has a central pool and plenty of parking, which makes it feel even more complete.

I don’t have huge commercial ambitions, but I do enjoy having a shop in Second Life. For me, it’s less about business and more about shared experiences with friends. Right now, that experience just happens to be setting up our shops together. From the start, I knew that our enjoyment would depend on clustering near each other so we can promote and support one another. Unlike Linden Homes, where location can be everything, Linden Shops feel more about community than coordinates. That said, I still wanted both. Great neighbors and a beautiful location. I feel like I’ve found that here, and I don’t plan to move again unless a new theme is released.
Tonight, I spent far too long learning how to properly drive and park my cars in front of the shop just to get photos. The 30 minute auto return is honestly a bit tight. My car kept disappearing before I could even take a picture. Still, I love the idea of being able to park outside. It adds so much life to the region.

Even with the current demand, I don’t think Second Life should overdo it with these shops. Yes, they’re incredibly appealing, especially since they’re free with Premium Plus, but part of what makes them special is their scarcity. If there are too many, it risks turning into a sea of empty storefronts, and no one wants to be in a dead mall.
Right now, my region feels active and lively, partly because I’m blogging and sharing it on social media. But maintaining that energy across many regions is another challenge entirely. The Lindens and Moles will likely have their hands full enforcing the covenant, so they’ll need to balance expansion with sustainability.
One last thought. I still think these shops should be placed a bit farther from residential areas. Not everyone wants the glow of a neon storefront outside their bedroom window.
Pink Fuel released the much-anticipated Alyx skin at Skin Fair! I’m feeling kind of lazy today, so I will just link you to some really awesome blog posts by other SL bloggers.

You get 8 makeups total: (Pure, Natural, Purple, Blue, Pink, Lt, Smokey, Smokey, Winged) + All theLipsticks for 1350L.
These two styles are my favorite from LoQ Hairs. This is actually the first time I’ve ever featured LoQ Hairs here, I think they are a fairly new but what they’ve released so far is promising. I am feeling very Red today cos Autumn is just around the corner! 🙂
I’ve noticed that LoQ hair is full-bright by default, and that is awful! Thankfully the hair is mod, so I can simply uncheck the full-bright option, but I really don’t understand designers who leaves this on by default. It looks awful in Windlight and the hair texture is totally misrepresented.
Here’s my plea to hair designers: If for some reason you must have full-bright hair, please include both versions in your demo. I have to see what the hair texture looks like with full-bright off otherwise I won’t purchase it. I think that full-bright should be abandoned already, it makes you look like a newbie hair designer.
Are you excited about the Truth Collective? This collaboration between Truth, Faga, and Wasabi, is the first of its kind on the grid. Faga and Wasabi joins the Truth brand to release hairstyles using Truth HUDs and textures. This is exciting news for all Truth hair fans to enjoy hairstyles from both of these creators, but still be able to wear their favorite Truth hair color.
