Shine has just released these gorgeous Shine Lustrous eyes in 11 different colors. Each pair includes regular and large versions, and they're so beautiful! I'm so picky about eyes, so I was happy that these were the right size (for me) and I find these very realistic and natural looking.
These yummy new Redgrave St. Tropez heels comes in delicious swirly flavors!! So many to choose from.. I love the strappy look and sculpted laces. The heels are flawless from every angle and perfect for Summer.
If there’s one month to put spiders in your hair, it’s October. Who knew arranging tiny jeweled spiders could be so fun? The Along Came a Spider set from Sparkle Skye includes jeweled spiders and a delicate metal web with pearls that you can wear as a hair clip. I never thought I’d actually put a spider in my hair in Second Life, but here we are. They’re small enough to scatter throughout your hairstyle, so you can create your own unique spooky accessory.
Kira Ahn has just released these adorable Agnes skins – the second skin from the new Bardot series. These faces are my favorite ones from KA because they’re youthful and totally wearable — lots of casual and light makeups.
There are 10 makeups per skin tone, 3 brows option, and hair base option.
I made a collage!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, I think I’m like a 3.5 with Photoshop skills. I’m definitely hovering somewhere between beginners and intermediate? But you know… I’m really proud of this collage! I’m wearing the new ‘Ice Cream Paint Job Kicks’ from Addict (another Footwear Expo find). You have to check out their booth because they have unisex kicks with really cute prints.
KA Skins – Bardot “Agnes” Pale (all)
Truth – Lizzie (toffee)
Truth – Halt Tank (pink) group gift
drawmachine – hotpants (jeans)
Addict – Ice Cream Paint Job Kicks
Now that my shopping blackout is over, I rembered that I wanted the Oaklynn Gown from Just Because. I collect a lot of their gowns since I love their style and color choices. When I’m not lounging in casual clothes, my other favorite style is Victorian lady, so I just fill my wadrobe with lots of gowns.
I went to Session Skin to try on the Charlize skin, mostly out of curiosity. I had no interest in looking like Charlize Theron, but I wanted to see if it looked good in-world. That led me to trying on a whole wall of face skins, only to decide they all aged me a little more than I would like in Second Life. The good news is that I still came away with a gorgeous new body skin.
I wasn’t even looking for a new body skin, but I’m always open if something suits me better. I tried on the Athena body skin and it looked great with a few of Izzie’s fixes. The challenge was matching their four skin tones to my Glam Affair face. It’s surprising that they only offer four tones and no neck blend, which leaves you on your own if you’re wearing anything other than a Session face skin.
Still, I made it work. I paired the Almond body tone from Session with Glam Affair L005 for the face. What you see here is not the bare Session skin since I added a couple of Izzie’s tattoos, but you get the idea. One of my gripes with the Ethereal Essence body skin I was wearing before is that the torso was too shiny, and they still have not released an optional layer to fix it. Another annoyance was how the inside elbow sat too high on the upper arm, which looks awkward when you bend your arm. Since I bend my arms a lot in Second Life, especially when holding things, I notice it right away. The Session body skin, however, has perfect shading at the elbow.
If you wear lighter tones and want to try a new body skin, these are worth a look. The toes are a bit of a blurry mess, but overall I liked it enough to fatpack. I would never recommend a body I would not wear myself. The definition is nice, and I managed to match it pretty well.
I've been eyeing the fabulous DEN-DUO Giselle & Heidi skins for quite awhile, but my skin folder is ridiculous as it is already. However! I can't really say no or resist anything so here they are, glorious new skins.
Shown here is the DEN-DUO 'Heidi' skins in 4 different makeups. I bought the Giselle & Heidi pack, which is only $1800L for all four makeups and two different brows options.
I'm wearing my Digit Darkes 'Alice in Versailles' gown, part of the Marie Antoinette collection. Photographs taken at the Versailles City sim, a beautiful build but sooo laggy my SL crashed several times.
This is a preview of Fishy Strawberry’s Summer/Spring 2010 collection. All the pieces were designed to mix-and-match so you can wear it out of the box or pair with other pieces from Fishy Strawberry or other favorites from your inventory.
I’m pretty much an ‘out of the box’ type of girl, since I’m not terribly creative with mix-and-matching, so I enjoy it when things from one brand goes well together.
Fishy Strawberry – Arrivederci Tees (can be worn with ruffles or with ruffles & add-on bow)
Fishy Strawberry – Billy Denim Pants (includes matching belt)
Fishy Strawberry – Lace Cycling Pants
Fishy Strawberry – Early Morning Cardigans (includes with shirt and without shirt version)
I personally think the Early Morning Cardigans without shirt is so sexy, one of my favorite cardigans ever.
Whats the name of the cute hairstyle and where do you get that :)?
Yeah…where, please???????????
