Hair Fair 09 starts in just 4 days! This is a sneak peek of four styles
from Tiny Bird that will be available at the fair. They're all pretty
awesome but my favorite one is the Gattina, with soda can rollers! Ah,
what a clever and fun idea <3
I think this Gattina style will be a Hair Fair favorite, since it's so trashy cute!
All the clothes I'm wearing for this entry are new releases from Exodi! The textures & styles are amazing, I love that Ryker Beck is on a roll and totally making Summer clothes and giving both guys & girls tons of stuff to wear to the beach or lounging around SL.
That is all.. hope you guys are looking forward to Hair Fair 09 as much as I am! Some hair demos are available on XStreetSL already or visit Tiny Bird to demo these.

I never leave home without prim lashes attached, and neither should you.
I’ve been looking for new lashes cos I don’t like wearing the same lashes forever — even though I love my current ones! I don’t recommend lashes that I wouldn’t personally wear and love, so you know these are good. They’re also super affordable at only $75L per pair!
WorldWide Industries – Lashes | Rainbow Hearts on my Lashes | Glitter on my Lashes
I saw someone wear these glitter lashes on the fashion feed so I went to WorldWide Industries to check ’em out. I took a chance and purchased a pair of plain lashes and two with decorations on them. I looooooooooove these. They were SO easy to fit, and the effect is subtle and cute.
Hello and welcome to my blog! Long-time readers already know that blogging is my passion, and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Over the past 17 years, my interests have varied and evolved, but everything you see on JuicyBomb is a true reflection of me. I’m thrilled to join the Got Blog! Bloggers Challenge. Through this challenge, I hope to share my thoughts on blogging and offer readers a deeper understanding of the Second Life blogging community.
When did you start your Second Life Blog?
I started my Second Life blog in 2007. My blog is nearly as old as my avatar!
Why did you start Blogging in Second Life?
My first Second Life blog was on a free platform, and it wasn’t a fashion blog. I just wanted a place to document my adventures in Second Life, so it was just candid photos and brief captions. Eventually, I decided to make a proper blog, so I bought a domain and started a blog called Gogolita. The name Gogolita was a combination of my avatar name (Gorgeous) and my favorite fashion style at the time (Lolita fashion). A year later, I bought a region and named it Juicy, so I rebranded to JuicyBomb.
Do you feel the Blogging community in Second Life has changed since you started Blogging, and if so, in what ways?
Back in the day, I felt that (fashion) bloggers wrote to share a genuine love for items they discovered and to connect with other residents on the grid. I used to know most of the bloggers in Second Life—not personally, but through their writings and being in the same groups and attending bloggers-only events. Designers were really nice to bloggers in general; they tried to be our friends, hoping we’d promote their stores. Now, some designers act like we’re their employees, setting requirements to be part of their blog teams. Even the bloggers appear to be more focused on meeting deadlines and promoting products rather than sharing things they genuinely love.
Do you think that Bloggers have a positive impact on Second Life culture and community, and if so, do you have any stories about that?
Where would Second Life be without bloggers? I feel that all bloggers have contributed to Second Life and filled the information gap when Linden Lab fell short. Additionally, our love for shopping and sharing that love on our blogs has positively impacted e-commerce here. Imagine Second Life without bloggers! It might have shuttered long ago.
Are you approachable as a Blogger by content creators that may have interest in you as a Blogger for their Brand/Store? – if you have review policies etc. feel free to include them.
Absolutely! If brands want to collaborate with me, please reach out to me in Second Life – Gorgeous Aurelia. I’ll blog about women’s fashion, home and decor, and landscaping items. I will also explore your region or promote a project that I find interesting. I blog about all sorts of things, so if you think it’s something I might want to highlight on JuicyBomb, let’s talk!
The Call for Couture Festival starts today! This event runs from October 10th – October 31st, so you’ll have plenty of time to shop around and also bid on some exclusive items at the auction.

Hello! I’m at New York City today, the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, the city that never sleeps, etc. I wore a posh cold-weathered outfit with a fur coat to match the new Regency Boots from Bax. I’m really in the mood for layering and colder weather, I don’t think it’s too early for SL designers to start releasing Fall fashion!
BAX HAS NEW BOOTS. They’re truly new, and not a re-re-re-release of the Prestige boots. I was a fan of Bax until I got bored with the similar styles and recolors. I suppose I’m a fashion snob, cos I do not like when a brand recolors constantly, or adds a new detail and tries to pass it off as a new release. For me, the desire for something is greatly diminished after the first release. For example, if a designer wanted to have 50 colors and 30 different prints, do it on the first release, not wait every month a new color, yawn. Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, let’s talk about the Regency Boots.
These boots are advertised as being “Liquid Mesh,” a term first started by Redgrave. It basically means that the boots will resize to fit your leg length, muscle, and body fat. You can see a video of it in action on Strawberry Singh’s blog. A few other brands in SL have used this method for clothing too, but the effect wasn’t that nice. I recall owning a jacket from Chillie, that had SmartMesh (their own term for stretchy mesh), and when I made my avatar’s fat really high just to see how it would stretch, the jacket became distorted. I’m on the fence about LiquidMesh/SmartMesh/stretchy-mesh, whatever you want to call it. This hack is great for some items, but most things in SL are not meant to be stretched to the max, cos then they lose their nice shape and the textures are distorted.
What do you think about stretchable mesh?

I spotted Squinternet Larnia wearing this gorgeous big and fluffy hairstyle on her Flickr stream, and I had to have it! Anessa Stine was kind enough to drop me a landmark to the hair shop in-world, and I spent a good bit of L’s buying some crazy wigs. Yes to me, these are not actual “hairstyles” but more like wigs you would wear with costumes.
The hair shop is called MrS – normally I laugh at hair like this, but I really wanted this style. Most of the hairstyles at that shop were terrible cos they were full bright, with flickering flexi-prims, and just kind of cheap looking but that was exactly why I liked the two wigs I got — they looked like tacky fun wigs.
I am wearing two incredible new Donna Flora releases. The Wave dress & Bambola dress, both have gorgeous textures & sculpted pieces. The Bambola dress also includes a gorgeous butterfly shaped hair bow.
A few days ago I read somewhere that fans of Twilight could purchase Bella’s engagement ring so I really wanted one in SL! Thankfully, Caroline Apollo was already one step ahead of me and released this ring ages ago. Visit Caroline’s, if you want Bella’s ring!
Gattina style will be my favorite too!cuuuute!
