This Minute Makeover post will transform your skin without breaking your budget. I like to fatpack skins, but even fatpacks don’t have everything my skin whore addict heart desires. For someone on a budget, a nice base skin in one or two nice lipsticks is all you really need, tattoo layers will do all the rest.
1. Bare face (Laqroki Vilda 03 (Fair) Glow skin (Blonde)) 2. Dutch Touch MakeUp – LIPGloss – Faded Serie – StrawBerry
My base skin is this lovely Laqroki Vilda 03 (Fair) Glow skin (Blonde); this is the perfect skin for a nice beachy look, the skin tone is beautiful. I added a layer of Dutch Touch MakeUp – LIPGloss – Faded Serie in Strawberry to give the lips a touch of pink.
Now, the fun stuff. I added a layer of the cheLLe – (eyeshadow) Rainbow Eyes (Medium), which looks great under prim lashes by itself, but I wanted more definition so I added a final layer of Tuli Eyeliner 5. As you can see, it really makes a difference!
You can substitute the lipgloss and eyeliner with any brand of your choice, as long as it fits your skin nicely.
Don’t forget to finish the look with a pair of prim lashes of your choice and/or wear texture lashes tattoo. I can’t stand my avatar without lashes!!

Celoe has just released the Aelia Wedges in 15 fabulous colors! These wedges arrived just in time for Summer, and they go with everything. I’m taking these photos using the “mirror-water effect” and shadows turned off. The image is straight from SL, no Photoshopping at all. I turned shadows off to get a smoother reflection, and I love it!
The Celoe Shoe HUD is included to match and save skin tone, change nail colors, resize, and you’re also able to use either HSL or RGB input.

I’m feeling like today’s gonna be a Pastel kind of day, so I wore the new Mon Tissu Slouchy Sweatshirt in Sky, and also the Hanalei Shorts in Mint. I think these colors are so relaxing, and pairs beautifully with Pink lipstick!

This “currently crashing out” print on the Honey Cropped Tank from The Kiwi Co. feels a little too relatable right now, because mainland has been testing me lately.
When I first went Premium back in 2019 to get a Linden Home, it was also the first time I could finally own mainland. I eventually bought a snowy parcel that I absolutely loved and kept it from 2022 onward. It was extremely landlocked and surrounded on three sides by massive ugly ice walls from neighboring parcels, but somehow I still made it work because I liked the region.
Recently, several abandoned coastal parcels nearby became available after a former neighbor left. I submitted support tickets hoping to expand naturally into the coastline, but instead the parcels were sent individually to auction. I managed to buy some of them, but after getting outbid on the final piece, I realized I was done fighting with the region. The walls finally won.
I still wanted snow land though, so I moved a couple regions over and spent a pretty significant amount acquiring new coastal land through auctions and direct purchase from a land baron. In total, it probably cost around $500 USD worth of Lindens, but I was excited to finally own a beautiful coastal snow parcel.
Then I discovered a 32m micro parcel sitting directly in the middle of my new land.
The owner had no other land in the region and was asking L$32,000 for it.
That isn’t normal land use. It’s extortion.
I submitted another support ticket hoping Linden Lab would step in, especially since Second Life already has a policy against land cutting practices. Unfortunately, my request was denied, and no discretion was used to resolve what is very obviously a bad-faith micro parcel situation. That part is what disappoints me the most.
As someone still relatively new to mainland ownership, I’m starting to understand why so many residents say mainland can be incredibly frustrating. One bad neighbor or one strategically placed micro parcel can completely ruin an otherwise beautiful area.
And if anyone is wondering how my planned move from Gaeta 1 to New Zindra is going, it isn’t. I bought Gaeta 1 land back on April 15, but after realizing I’d likely be at the very end of the migration queue, I decided to put everything up for sale instead. At this point, I’d rather just settle into my snow land and enjoy it in peace.

Oh nuu! In all his hopping excitement to hand out little chocolate versions of himself and peeps to the shop owners, the Easter Bunneh bounced Eggs all over the sims! Find and return them to their owners for an Easter surprise of your own!
Hidden on each of the 6 sims will be a number of Easter Eggs spread out by the Bunneh. Help these top-notch clothiers, interior designers, accessorizers and so much more find and return their Eggs to the baskets by their stops entrance. There will be an information board by the TP point of each participating sim to provide detailed instructions.
The hunt starts Wednesday, April 1 and runs to Tuesday, April 6, so don’t miss your chance to take a big bite out of the fun!
