Exile has just released two new hairstyles!! I've decided to wear hair colors that I normally wouldn't to show off this newly released Amped Crop Top from Boom. I haven't worn my Free Speerit Kimberly skin in awhile, and I forgot how amazing and vibrant the makeups are on this skin! <3

The With Love Hunt is coming! It doesn’t start until the 30th, but I have to show you this cape! I know you guys don’t like teasing, but this gorgeous Chloe Cape from Diram is part of the hunt, and I felt inspired to wear it today. I normally don’t do hunts, but I think that for $10L, you can’t pass this up.

When I left my sim earlier today, I ran into Caduceus Lorakeet (twice). The first time, he snapped a picture of me and posted it to Flickr, and the second time, he showed it to me like a stalkerazzi (jk!). Normally, that would freak me out a bit, but he called me SL Royalty, and that made me happy. Also, I’m glad I was wearing shoes, instead of my usual “I’ll just tp around barefoot, nobody’s looking at me” look. I seem to have forgotten my shirt though, but at least from the backside… it looks decent! 😀
I bought a bunch of stuff at the Gatcha Gatcha festival but my inventory is a mess and they weren't labelled "Gatcha" so I can't remember what they all were. Here's the stuff that I DO remember!! Katat0nik is practically giving away these adorable Kattypop purses – you pay the lil' Katat0nik machine $15L per play and get a random color. They are no copy/transfer so you can exchange with a friend or give it away, if you get doubles. The purse also includes the 'hold' animation, and works great with your AO.
Don't forget to try the HANAUTA food machine! On my first try I scored the Petit Tart in Strawberry flavor. Whoohoo! It matched the Katat0nik Strawberry Dollie Dress perfectly.
Even though I have no interest in blogging male fashion, I still found the new Andrea mesh head release from LeLutka exciting. The last time I dressed a male avatar was several years ago, so I had to get up to speed on everything to complete my look. I love the default skin that came with this mesh head, so I spent all week tweaking my shape to make it work.
This HUD is similar to the one for LeLutka’s female mesh heads. I was slightly disappointed to see that the animations are exactly the same as on the female mesh head. Some of them will work on this head, but I think they’re far too feminine for this a male head.
Once I finished my shape, I had to get a mesh body. This head does not work with the default SL body, so I decided on the SLink Physique Male Mesh Body, since clothing is widely available for it. Also, SLink’s range of mesh products is superb.

LeLutka is at Skin Fair with two new mesh heads, one each for male and female. I’m wearing the Milan mesh head, it’s a slight change from the LeLutka Kaya mesh head I’ve been wearing. I made a whole new shape to go with Milan, with a more toned face than Gogo normally sports.
Truth has just released four new hairstyles!! I love these, they feel like fun & flirty ’80s hairstyles! I am wearing Cyndi, Kenzie, Molly, and Grace in Swedish texture.
Momo released this adorable Olicia dress in 4 colors — Black, Denim, Grape and Snow. I’m wearing the Grape & Snow colors, they’re awesome and goes well with Molly side ponytail hair.

Everyone is pretty much busy shopping or eating (yay Turkey Day!) sooo you’ll have a lag-free shopping experience. Visit the Nardcotix booth and get these gorgeous Eva Slingbacks in Bronze, Silver, Black & White, and Black.
’Tis the season of giving. Akeruka is giving two mesh heads to group members, except the group costs L$150 to join. I wasn’t a member, so I paid the fee just to get the Wendy head “for free.” I wanted to try it mostly because I forgot I already tried and blogged an Akeruka head two months ago.
All the things I found difficult then are still difficult now. I still can’t close my eyes without my eyeballs poking through my head. I also haven’t found anyone who makes HD applier eyes for this head, so I’m wearing BoM eyes. To do that, you have to buy the AK BoM Eyes Relay on Marketplace for L$1. Yes, it’s only a Linden, but why wasn’t this included with the head? Since this head isn’t as popular as LeLutka, you’re also going to have a harder time finding eyes made specifically for it.
Even though Wendy works with EvoX skins, my usual Glam Affair skin was not a good fit. I decided to start fresh and try something new, and it just so happens that Traditional Face recently gave out a new group gift skin called Eva. Of course, I wasn’t in that group either, so I paid L$99 to join.
This definitely does not look like Gogo. When I made the shape, I started to see an older brunette woman instead, and I had to lean into the thick brows, which I don’t love, ever. I made it work here, but I couldn’t wear the browless version because the BoM brows I always use sit too high on this head. The HD brows included with Akeruka are even thicker, which is such a shame because there are no thinner options. I. hate. thick. brows.
If you’re already a member of these groups, you can get a whole new look for the cost of nothing. If you’re not, it’s still relatively cheap for a complete makeover, assuming you don’t mind paying a few group fees.
Have you noticed how some brands are no longer updating their Flickr or seem to be moving away from it entirely in favor of other platforms? I honestly can’t be bothered to chase brands from site to site, so if one drops off my radar, so be it. I only even saw this Akeruka gift because of a post elsewhere, and I already lost the link to it. It’s a shame they’ve seemingly stopped updating their Flickr.
