The Harajuku Bake Sale going on right now until September 17th, so you have 2 days left to buy the goodies!! I picked up a pack of these fun Riddle 'Bake Sale Tops' fatpack, they were super cheap (I think $200L).
[ Fascino hair – Lico (Orchid) and Ayan (Orchid) ]
ALSO…… Fascino hair has re-opened! YAY! However, I totally don't recommend buying the hairstyles if you're not comfortable with modding hair. Typically, most hair will fit with just a few stretches but I suspect that the creator of Fascino has a much longer and narrow head than I do, so it took forever to mod these two hairstyles above (and I changed the prims a lot where I don't even know if it still looks like how the creator intended).
There are 3 sizes in the demo, if the "Small" doesn't fit you, you can count on spending a lot of time modding. Just a helpful tip!!
Truth has released 4 fabulous women's hairstyles @ Hair Fair. You've probably seen many people go gaga over these hairs and totally well-deserved, the styles are adorable. Shown above are 4 of the hairs in "blondes" colors since they're my favorite colors.
I'm Wearing:
Truth – Sophia (Seaspray) Truth – Romy (Tahiti) Truth – Esme (Driftwood) Truth – Twiggy (Platinum)
note* Yes I know the Hair Fair sims are hard to enter right now, but don't give up! The traffic will wear off soon as more people are able to purchase the goodies and leave! 🙂
Update!! The no mod was an SL glitch, and creator tomo Zenovka was nice enough to send replacements prims! YAY <3 I'm happy again!
I'm wearing the WTC lingerie v16 set here, which includes 2 options (bra/panties or with a cami and pants). WTC (by tomoe Zenovka) is a lingerie shop new to me, and I found so many adorable lingerie sets for cheap! For some reason the WTC lingerie ver16 (in green) that I purchased is no mod, so couldn't un-tint my leg prims or resize it to fit (I had to move the prims around my leg to make it fit). I went back to the shop to check, and sure enough another color of the set I bought had mod perms ~ so be sure to double check what you're purchasing! I'm totally bummed I have to ask the creator for modifiable leg prims, which is a hassle that could have been avoided if the perms are mod/no trans to begin with!
If you're purchasing lingerie without prims, the perms are no copy/trans, which is great for gift giving. Despite my annoyance with the perm issue at WTC, I really like this shop so far, and am totally adding it to my list of places to check when I want new lingerie.

I am thankful for life, family, friends, health, happiness, etc! Speaking of friends, I’ve just created a blogging account for my friend on JuicyBomb so she can start blogging awesome content here too, so keep an eye out for her! 🙂

SLink has just released the Jolie Pied Barefoot in 3 versions – Low, Medium, and High. They're SO gorgeous and these photographs have not been edited in Photoshop. If you're a prim-feet lover, you know how hard it is to hide seams at the ankle. These are so well done that if you look closely you will notice but from afar it's really seamless.
Wow.. stunning! The barefoot comes with a HUD to tint skin texture & paint your toes all kinds of cute colors 🙂

I went to Coney Island by myself! Usually I love having a whole sim to myself, but I think this sim is haunted. It was creepy being alone, wish you guys were here! My look today was more Wintery, but I changed my shoes at the last-minute, so it has more of an Autumn vibe. I love this LUCK sweater from Emery, it does look cozy!

I remember when Hair Fair was the event to look forward to every summer in Second Life. These days, with shopping events happening every month, it doesn’t quite have the same sense of anticipation. Back then, by the time Hair Fair rolled around, everyone was absolutely starving for new hairstyles.
You can join the Hair Fair Demo Group (secondlife:///app/group/2e30d166-f3e5-e2de-ff72-b3da2d06ded2/about) and have all the demos delivered to you, but I actually prefer walking the event and visiting each store. I like browsing the booths, collecting demos manually, and discovering the gifts along the way. One thing I also appreciate is being able to see exactly how much each hairstyle is donating. Every participating hair contributes a percentage to the charity, but some creators go even further and donate 50% or even 100% of their sales.
There are a lot of charity events in Second Life throughout the year, and I think it’s wonderful when communities come together to support a good cause. At the same time, I think residents should pay attention to where their donations are going and how transparent an event is about its fundraising. That’s one of the reasons I’ve always appreciated Hair Fair. The event’s relationship with Wigs for Kids is publicly acknowledged by the charity itself, and every year Hair Fair posts the donation receipt and thank-you letter after the event concludes. I like that level of transparency. It allows residents and designers alike to see the impact their generosity is making, and you can feel confident that your shopping is supporting a real-world cause.
Kuni – Manu
Exile – Never the Same
I was excited to see some of my favorite brands participating this year, including Truth, Kuni, and Exile. It was also interesting to see Truth represented solely by hairstyles and accessories created by Litterbug. I noticed fellow Truth Collective creator Wasabi at the event as well. One thing I like about collaborations such as Truth Collective is that the individual creators are acknowledged for their work. There are plenty of brands in Second Life that describe themselves as a team, but you never really know who created what. I like following creators and recognizing their individual styles, even when they’re creating under a larger brand.
I also can’t leave Hair Fair without mentioning the Bandana Booth. I picked up this adorable bandana by Alaskametro, and there are several other prints available as well. Pretty much everything Alaskametro makes is beautifully textured. If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you already know I’m a fan.

Another new addition this year is Linden Lab’s contribution to the fundraiser. Residents can purchase three exclusive last names: Style, Strand, and Salon, with proceeds benefiting the charity. If I wasn’t already having an identity crisis with my avatar, I’d probably be changing my last name to Style immediately.
Linden Lab will also be auctioning off Premium Lifetime memberships during the event, with more details coming soon. If you’re someone who gets a lot of value from Premium benefits and plans to stick around Second Life for the long haul, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.
I think you did a good job modding the Fascino hair.I think you saw my rant on plurk so good tip about the information about the hair size and modding.
