Do you want to dress like Twiggy? Tasty will be releasing the Twiggy outfits, which includes the dress, gloves, glasses and a matching hat (not worn here). I love the colors!! They're so POP! I feel like a total retro doll.
Tasty will be having a grand opening on Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at 6:00pm SLT.
A few days ago I wore a Rosi skin group gift from Bella di Notte, and now the full line has finally been released!!
The new Bella di Notte skins has 6 lipstick choices, light and dark brows, 12 Eye-makeups (sold separately), Blush, Freckles, and Cleavage (all are on the tattoo layer). I really like that more skin designers are making use of the tattoo layer to allow us to create our own look.
I really like these shadows (tattoo) because they’re transparent and can work with other skins much more easily than lipstick on a tattoo layer.
These two new hairstyles from Friday are available at Hair Fair! Be sure to check out the third hairstyle while you’re there; some proceeds of that style is donated to charity.
It’s time to say Good Bye,
at least for an unknown period of time.
Every story, long or short, has an end. The story of PACADI Jasha is now going towards its end, at least we do a bigger break. After exactly 12 month and 1 day the virtual brand PACADI Jasha will close it doors, unfortunately. We decided to do this step after a long conference with all the designers, marketing officers and public relation manager. We, Lotta, Frederic, Julia and Clair were told not to close, but unfortunately we have to tell you that we four are just too busy with our Real Life studies to provide you with more high fashion apparel or high rendered jewelry in the next time. We are sorry for this – and believe us, its even harder for us. We spent 12 months with each other, we had great times, we had downs, we had fun, we were enjoying our being, we had accidents (oh yes…, 2 of our designers crashed down the stairs on the same day in two different parts of the world). But mainly we had fun, fun with YOU! Let us tell you one thing, sometimes a story has a continuation or an open end… you will hear from us again, one day…
We planned a uber bombastic mega sale on all our products! Clothes, Accessoires, Jewelry, Hair and Shoes! everything will be between 20-100L$. The KREATURA Collection will be set at 130L$ (from 300). Believe us you will find what you every wanted at a really cheap price for one of the best quality in SecondLife!
-> SCROLL DOWN, IMPORTANT NOTICE!

What are the Designers of Pacadi Jasha offering after the Closing?
– Actually we four designers will step out of the limelight for an unknown period of time with the bombastic Miracle Fashion Show on Saturday 17th at 12pm on our sim.
BUT! Frederic Harsley will offer custom Building (houses and interiors and textures) for 2K-3K/hour. The most realistic Buildings in Secondlife, even better than the once on the sim now. Also he will offer photography if asked for.
I bought this beautiful Surf Couture Corridale Coat about three weeks (it was part of 50L Friday) but didn’t get around to actually finding anything to wear it with until today. So if you guys missed it, I guess you’ll have to wait ’til the full release (if there is one).
This has me thinking about how I’m not timely when it comes to blogging “limited” sale items, especially if I only have less than a few days to do it. Grazia made a great little post over on her blog about not blogging weekly cheapies deals anymore, and I think that a lot of people already don’t do it timely enough to benefit the shoppers & designers.
I don’t like to rush things. I’ve been waiting for a pair of boots to wear with this coat that has 2.0 alpha layer so it wouldn’t look like shiat with shadows enabled, and finally, CoCo released these fantastic Over-the-Knee Boots that comes in 2.0 alpha version only. So for people still using really old viewers without alpha layers (is there any viewer out there that doesn’t have it?), you won’t be able to wear these boots.
I’ve finally visited the new Armidi, oops excuse me, Vaschwitzugenplatz sim and there was a gift bag there with a free magazine, gift cards and some other stuff inside it. I think there are glasses somewhere on the floor too. Props to you if you can spell the sim name, but I don’t think I ever will be able to on the first try!
If you are a blogger and you would like to gain early access to this year’s Hair Fair, please leave your name in the comments below by July 26th so I can nominate you for early access!
Hair Fair is an event that I look forward to each year, for many reasons. I have attended Hair Fair for years, and remember stumbling upon it as a new resident way back in 2007. It’s the place to be if you’re a hair creator and a hair lover. I love hair, it’s easily the top 3 things I own the most of in my inventory.
In honor of Fantasy Faire, I typed in “wand” into my inventory and found this fabulous Unicorn Magic Wand from Insomnia Angel. I have no memory of ever getting this, so that means one of my friends probably gifted it to me because it was a gacha item.
And what does one wear with a wand? A crown, obviously. I pulled out Fairie Queen by Sparkle Skye, which has always been a favorite of mine. I should wear crowns like this all the time, because why not. I’m also wearing the Caroline Gown from Just Because, one of my recent favorite gown makers. The pricing is fair, it’s sold by body type, and this gown has a shiny PBR finish that really works here. You could style it futuristic or regal, the choice is yours. Back in the day, girls used to run all over the grid in full flexi ball gowns like it was casual attire. Shopping, dancing, standing around somewhere. We need to bring that back.
Now let’s talk about Fantasy Faire. I go every year, usually for Jail & Bail with Patch Linden or the Silent and Live Auction during the last few days of the event where I like to bid on Linden-sponsored items. Because of that, Fantasy Faire to me has always felt like a Linden-endorsed event.
That is why all this AI drama looks so bad. Last year, I watched a resident get bullied by Fantasy Faire designers and maybe others too for using AI to enhance photos. I’m not even sure they were an official blogger. They may have just been a regular resident who got piled on so badly they removed a lot of photos from Flickr. Fantasy Faire organizers said nothing discouraging the bullying. That was a bad look, especially for a charity event benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Previously, Fantasy Faire allowed AI use for designers in certain ways, while banning bloggers from using it. Designers could reportedly use it for marketing or decorations as long as it was not being sold. This year they changed the rules again and moved toward banning AI entirely, even for things not for sale.
Then came the DRD situation. According to DRD, they were privately given the green light by organizer Elizabeth Tinsley to use AI posters around their region build. Then later another staff member came through putting up red boxes to mark items for review or removal before opening. Things escalated, and DRD says they felt publicly shamed and harassed.
If that is true, then the problem is not AI. The problem is how this was handled. You cannot privately approve something, then publicly crack down on it later and expect no reaction. Any designer would be upset.
In my opinion, the aggressive anti-AI stance has no place in a charity event, and the selective enforcement looks even worse. AI is a tool. Whether people personally like it or hate it, using it is not against Linden Lab’s Terms of Service. Treating residents like they did something terrible over it is unnecessary.
Fantasy Faire should be about creativity, fundraising, shopping, and fun. Instead it keeps becoming drama over technology. They should release a public statement, explain what happened, and maybe apologize where needed. They also need one clear rule for everybody. Not one rule privately, another publicly, and something else depending on who you are.
They picked the wrong battle, and now it shows.
DRD Statement from their Discord server
We had something special planned for Fantasy Faire this year: our return after 10 years, with a brand-new region and a follow-up story to San Mora.
What should have been an exciting return took a very different turn in the final days. What started as a discussion around AI use escalated **far beyond that**. We were transparent from the beginning and had shown what we were doing early on, with approval to move forward, but 2 days before opening the situation shifted, and how it was handled crossed a line for us.
It escalated into repeated public shaming using hundreds of red glowing prim markers pointing out anything and everything, it reached a point of bullying.
Eventually the entire build was covered in nearly a thousand Fantasy Faire posters. **There’s nothing left of what we created.**
We literally filled the region with Orwell quotes about censorship and authoritarian control and now we’re being silenced and erased in real time. The irony is not lost on us.
This was no longer about being anti-AI or pro-AI. Everyone is entitled to their own stance on that, and we respect differing opinions. What this became about was how poorly the situation was handled.
Things have really changed in 10 years.** It no longer felt like a Faire for charity… it became a protest against AI.**
__We weren’t even allowed to set up RFL vendors to sell our build__ , meaning we were not allowed to raise money for RFL.(?)
It no longer felt like something we wanted to be part of.
We donated the sim to FF to do with it what they wish and to remove the name Reservoir Zero, because that is NOT Reservoir Zero.
**We made the decision to step away completely**. We’re not going to compromise our work or vision just to fit in.
**So here’s what we’re doing instead:**
We’re moving the full, uncensored version of Reservoir Zero to our own sim.
This summer, it will become the **full apocalyptic experience** we originally planned… a proper continuation of the story.
For now, we’ve already started setting things up there together with a few amazing merchants, and we’ll be hosting our own Relay For Life charity event and party very soon.
We’re sorry for the sudden change and any disappointment. **This wasn’t how we wanted our return after all these years to go.**
But we’re looking forward to showing you the version of Reservoir Zero that actually reflects what we built.
Thank you to everyone who reached out and had our back, it meant a lot.
Hello from around SL! Searching for a proper inside-of-an airplane in SL is impossible, so I settled on two airport locations to use as backdrops for my stewardess look.
I’ve chosen SLPG Prague Airport as my first location, and created an outfit based on the colors here. I’m wearing the new Oxford Pencil Skirt from Mon Tissu in Black, and pairing it with the Gill Blouse in White from VictoriaV. I really like this blouse, the texture is amazing and goes perfectly with this skirt. I wish there was an all White version of this top (without the black collar) so I can wear it with the skirts in other colors too (hint hint to VictoriaV).
I’ve been dying to re-create the Pan Am stewardess look, so of course I had to wear the Airline Blue colored skirt! Yumix Airport has gorgeous vintage airplanes rezzed there, so it was perfect for this look. I searched around my inventory for a proper White blouse, and found a sort-of military/stewardess looking shirt from the 4Minute outfit by Sweetest Goodbye (now closed). I have a few other White Blouses that I could have worn with this skirt, but they showed too much cleavage and didn’t look right for the Pan Am stewardess look.
Also I have to mention this really important (and exciting) thing about the new Oxford Pencil Skirt! This skirt is a rigged mesh skirt, but it does not require you to change your shape to wear it. It should fit almost everyone with no adjustments cos the “skirt” is actually only partially mesh — as you can see, some of the skirt is made up of texture pants, and the mesh area is only visible between the legs, but it blends so flawlessly!!! I did a picture to show you guys how this all works, but definitely try a demo at the store. This is like… a very advanced crotch prim 2.0 😛
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Brit (Swedish)
VictoriaV – Gill Blouse (White)
Mon Tissu – Oxford Pencil Skirt (Black)
G-Field – Eve Pumps (Black)
Edelweiss – School Bag (Classic)
Fishy Strawberry – Soignee Black tights
&
Truth – Carina (Swedish)
Sweetest Goodbye – 4Minute Shirt (White)
Mon Tissu – Oxford Pencil Skirt (Airline Blue)
Nardcotix – Edna Platform Pump (Blue)
