Wine O’Clock
Hello from my backyard! Cheeky Pea just released the Taula Gazebo Set, perfect for when you’re inviting friends over for a drink. I just enjoy being outside in SL, and this ‘wine shed’ comes with everything I need to feel like it’s an actual living space – gazebo, furniture, lighting, and decor.

Maitreya had a big release last week, and one of my favorite items is this Siobhan hat and hair combo, that includes a HUD to change the hat and tie colors. I wish Maitreya has more hair releases, cos the textures are fantastic. I’ve decided to put together a mis-matched bikini to go with my hat. This is the Retro Reef Bikini from Surf Co, and I am wearing the Yellow colored top & White bottom.
I went to Fluid, a new themed event from The Ego Co. I’ve been feeling kind of burnt out on events, so I didn’t even plan to go, but I saw Elysium Hyne’s gorgeous post, and it tempted me! I needed Self Picnic Table from Flowey! This table is scripted with 5 poses, and is just adorable. I love the grass! I hope Flutter Memel releases some more poses or couple poses and a grassy field!

LeLutka Mesh Head / Fleur
Have you ever felt that you needed a push to make a change? That push for me came on Friday night when I saw that LeLutka released the new Fleur head. It brightened my entire weekend, and I spent hours working on my new face. I try to recreate my face on many different heads, which isn’t impossible if you choose the same products (skin, eyes, etc.).
Making a new shape is something I enjoy doing, but I see many of my friends struggle with it. Even though I have a LeLutka evolution shape that I made for the Lake head before, it did NOT fit Fleur at all. The eyeballs popped out and the face looked like a deflated balloon. It almost turned me away from the head, but I decided to think of Fleur as a whole new ‘brand’, and went to work giving myself virtual plastic surgery. LOL!!
Lara Hurley & Glam Affair skins When I choose a new head, I always make sure I find the skin that I like to pair it with before spending hours making my shape & purchasing. Fleur just released less than 48 hours ago, so there are very few skins made specifically for Fleur. You may think that because a skin is labelled “for Lelutka BoM” or “for LeLutka Evolution” it would fit on ALL of the heads, but you would be very disappointed.

Hello everyone! The lastest Winter collection Belgravia and Leverocci includes some very adorable pieces of clothing and accessories. It was difficult to pick which color of the Alice Coat to wear, but I finally settled upon this Blue color. To accessorize, I chose Red accessories, to match the Belt and Sleeve detail on the coat.
Leverocci – Flatiron Heels & Messanger Bag (the incorrect spelling is deliberate, I guess?)
The Alice Coat from Belgravia also included a HUD to color change Metal, Leather Sleeves, Belt, Sleeve Detail, and Fabric Sleeves. I found this coat challenging to wear cos the bottom of the coat is very tight against my body, and it was almost impossible to find any mesh pants to fit underneath. Most texture pants/skirts will work perfectly fine, or some very small mesh pants with a low waist.

In my last post, I mentioned Luxe Box and wasn’t sure if I would join. I ended up falling asleep that night and missing the deadline to sign up. Now that I’ve seen the products showcased on everyone else’s blog, I must say it was “worth it” for the $1,000L price tag, if you don’t mind an eclectic mix of styles and quality. Most seemed happy with the products offered, but was unsure if they would buy a blind box again with a possible price increase. Even though some of my favorite brands participated in this round, their items would not have been enough to entice me to buy the entire box. I am sure that many people who bought the box wishes there were previews!!
As I mentioned in my last post, designers want to know how much they will make before selecting the products to send. I noticed that once the items were sent out, people
complainedgave feedback, then designers made changes and sent out even more options. Keep giving feedback, it works!Consumers (aka people who spend money) always have the upper hand in SL, unless you choose to play by their (aka people who want to earn money) rules. How can you get previews of Luxe Box? Don’t join the group until the very last-minute. I propose waiting until the 14th of June to join. The longer you wait, the more likely it is that designers and organizers will release preview pics of their products to entice you. After all, you have the money and they have products to exchange for money.
