Hi everyone! I am blogging about….. eyes! From time to time, I do share great eyes find here. Last week was bizarre though, how is it possible to have eyes drama in SL? Was it slow news week? In addition to the blog and Flickr drama, someone revived a really old SLU thread about my eyes. LOL! Hi SLU peeps. I haven’t logged into my SLU account for a very long time, but I am amused some of you think I’m evil and some of you like me. Sooo… either way, thank you for reading 🙂
Btw these new eyes I’m wearing are from Shine! There are 11 colors in this Monet series, and the colors are rich and intense. These eyes also includes prim versions so if you need it for Shadows or if you just want to be different and wear two different eye colors at once, you can!
Everyone has different preferences when it comes to eyes, so I was rather amused when people demanded to know mine. Here’s my secret — I like small pupils. Also, because my eye shape is smaller than most, prefer eye sizes that are small; but someone with a large head or bigger eyes may like them medium or large.

Katat0nik‘s newest Ruff Haus dress comes in so many vibrant candy colors and is so adorable! The skirt is a sculpted one-piece attachment, so it’s not very AO or pose friendly (my butt shows through in many of the poses that I’ve tried). I guess it looks great for photos but aghhhhh….. I can’t wait for flexi sculpts and/or mesh!
I’m also wearing the new Kita Mary Jane shoes from Katat0nik, and they come in all colors to match the Ruff Haus dress.

I’m so happy that these new MANA shoes have realistic sculpted feet. Nardya began making toe-shoes because she loves a challenge. And we all benefit from her hard work, cos these are truly stunning.
A MANA Shoe HUD is included to easily customize skin tone, nail polish and resize. This HUD also includes extra features I have not seen with any other shoes in SL: Glow and Shiny. I don’t find Glow or Shiny useful if you are going for a ‘realistic’ look but for Sci-Fi or Fantasy avatars? This makes perfect sense.

Senra Update
Last year, when I first tried on the Senra Jamie avatar, my impression was far from positive. It seemed like a regression, a relic not up to par with the advances in Second Life. Despite claims from the Senra defenders that these models aren’t trying to outshine the mesh avatars from Second Life’s creators, or that they are perfectly adequate for newbies, I wasn’t convinced. Surely, new residents are entitled the very best that Second Life has to offer.
Unaware that these avatars were still in their beta phase, I didn’t anticipate further improvements. However, with the announcement of a recent update to Senra, they piqued my interest enough to take a second look.
Slipping into the updated version of the Senra Jamie mesh head with last year’s shape, I noticed some changes. The mesh had a subtle overhaul—still not stunning, akin to sculpting a water balloon, but Jamie now looked marginally improved. The texture of the skin remains a low point, though; until the best skin designers on Second Life step in to upgrade Jamie, she’s doomed to be somewhat of a featureless form.

Price is definitely a factor for me but so is quality. If I want something badly enough and it is good quality and worth the price, then I’d buy it. I’d say “don’t like their creations” encompasses lousy quality, like clothes having poor textures or seam issues and such, and builds or furniture being too primmy or ugly. So it would have to be “don’t like their creations” as well as “can’t afford it”.
