I was digging around in my skins folder and found a stray skin simply labeled ‘Maya Prototype’ – it is one of the skins that Desidelia Vella is working on! This skin will be a new skin line at Free Speerit, whenever she gets around to completing it. It’s one of my favorite faces — so I’m hoping to see it released soon!

We now have cats at Aurelias Rainy Cafe! Zooby has just released the Animesh Cat, and if you like interactive pets, you’ll want to get your hands on these cuties for your Second Life. The animations are the cutest thing about these cats! I’ve rezzed two at the cafe, and they run around making realistic cat sounds.

Meet Luna and Tiger, the first Aurelias cats! The Zooby Animesh Cat has a variety of accessories that you can buy separately, for your cat to interact with — such as food bowls, beds, and litter boxes. The accessories are optional, so you don’t need to get them if you don’t want to. I bought my cats some food, but I don’t think feeding them will level them up or anything. You can also choose to not feed your cats, and they will still stay healthy, cos these are not breedables. You can also rez as many copies as you want to, they’re copiable.
Neferia Abel of Ivalde has released a ton of gorgeous new gowns in classic, stylish designs. You guys don’t know this, but I’m usually barefoot when I do my blog entries 😛 But just for today, I’ve put on my classy little J’s pumps and The HUB sandals just so I can try to do these gowns justice.

Construction is underway at Aurelias! Our town is growing, and we’ve just finished building a lighthouse. I’m so excited about the arrival of autumn, my favorite season. We had hoped to launch the region last year about this time, but we didn’t make it in time for autumn. I’m so very excited for you to experience autumn in Aurelias, I think you’ll find it very cozy.
Pepe Skin – Delina V2 (Cake) skin with lots of tattoo makeup fixes
Wow, tattoo makeup layers are amazing! So I snagged Pepe Skins’ new Delina skin over the weekend for a sweet L$100 deal. This skin is incredibly gorgeous, and it hardly needed any tweaks on my part. Included with the skin is a neck blend that stretches down to the cleavage – not totally my thing, so I just used Velour’s no-cost body neck fix to seamlessly merge the face and body skins.
Let me tell you, layering can get tricky, but when you nail it, it feels like magic. It’s all about the right sequence and a bit of hue play to get that perfect match. Personally, I opt for a lighter base layer and then enrich it with deeper shades – it’s always easier to darken than to lighten.

The charm of adding tattoo layers for me is that I’ve collected them over time. I wouldn’t even consider purchasing a skin that required me to invest in a whole new set of layers to get it right. And for L$100? This skin is a steal, looking fab even bare.
Exile has just released two new hairstyles!! Usually I’m a big fan of long locks but today I totally LOVE this short Ada hairstyle. I’m wearing the Ada and Selene, both in Harlow blonde.
