For a long time, I’ve considered Second Life just a hobby to pay my tier and have spending money. But I’ve had to seriously think if I would consider SL my part time job, since I dedicate some time daily to keeping my SL projects running smoothly.
How much money do YOU personally need to make before you consider it more than just a hobby but your job?

When I’m bored, I like to search for random things to buy on Marketplace. It’s much faster than hopping from shop to shop in-world, and is a great way to discover new-to-me brands.
Today I typed in rainbow tattoo and found this awesome Candy Sucker tattoo from (sorry guys, I’m removing their credit).
This tattoo is not subtle at all. It is colorful, and demands your attention. I looked like a candy store attacked me, and I love it!
This tattoo comes with 5 transparencies and one black and white (tintable) version. I think it’s very cool the creator included different levels of transparency, cos ‘faded’ is more realistic.
I wish it didn’t come with so many words, though! I also wanted to be able to wear just one or two of them individually, without having to wear the entire thing. The back, arms, and legs tattoos are ones I would totally wear by themselves, without all the other stuff.
If you guys come across any more colorful tattoos with candy, flowers, pretty and cute things, can you leave a comment with the store name or Marketplace link so I can take a look? I love cute tattoos!

I redecorated! I used the Ispachi bedroom set for one and a half years, and I still love it but I wanted spruce up the room a bit with new decor and furnishings. I stumbled upon this Sallie / Body Language bedroom set from ages ago, but it’s new to me! I was highly disappointed that it’s a gacha item, but several thousand lindens later, I own all the pieces that I need to make a complete bedroom set. I went with all white furnishings so that my knick-knacks from Tres Blah would stand out more.
Decorating is relaxing, when I know that I’m only decorating for myself. It’s comforting for me that my home in SL rarely ever changes. It would probably give me a lot of anxiety if the decor and furnishings changes all the time. I don’t consider myself the best decorator in SL, but I think my home reflects my taste pretty well.

Truth Hair – Tierney

SLink has just released two ADORABLE hairstyles! I'm wearing the Frederique and Lilly hairstyle (seen above). Frederique a short and sexy style. I didn't think I would like short hair but when I tried it on, I loved it! I love the way it frames my face and the Blonde texture is just the way I like it. The Lilly hairstyle is perfect for the boho/hippie look, and has a headband.
If you're in the mood for sexy new pumps, SLink released four fantastic styles new styles and the heels to die for.

Feathered fans are my weakness. I have been playing with the new Feathered pose set from Glitterati, and it’s so pretty! Starting on August 4th, you’ll be able to buy this set at Vintage Fair. Be sure to enter the Vintage Fair Flickr Competition, there are over $115,000L in prizes up for grabs!
A bunch of people have asked me where I buy my poses, or what pose brands I like, so I made a list of my top 10 pose brands below. A few of my favorite brands that I use often (for blog posts) are already retired, so I didn’t include those in the list. The list below is of brands that have either amazing normal fashion-friendly poses (nice stands, sits) or they have fun pose props that I enjoy using.

A few of my friends are very into PXL skins, so I decided to give the new PXL Candy skins a try. Even though I’m wearing this skin with Blonde hair, I really think it’s more suited for Brunettes because of the skin tone and brows color. Also, this face is more mature than I would like, but from my friends tell me, they prefer PXL for the mature face.
The body on this skin is quite nice, with very nice shadings and just a hint of glow on the skin. I did notice a lot of large freckles all over the body, and yeah, this adds realism, but I personally prefer a more flawless look.
PXL Candy – Front/Back (Torso)
The demo is a bit overwhelming with the avatar mesh lines covering the entire body, even the face. I hope that this changes with future releases, cos it makes it hard to inspect important areas for seams.
If you wanna try this skin, visit PXL.
