Exile has just released two new hairstyles — Gossip Girl and Naoko. I love the curls on Gossip Girl. Exile has been releasing some really amazing curly styles lately and they’re a pretty rare find in SL. Naoko is a punky hairstyle that I may not be able to pull off very well, but it would look great for as a Punk-ish unisex hairstyle.
Nardcotix is fast becoming one of my favorite places for pumps. These new Ashoka T-Strap pumps are amazing; how can anybody not adore plaid shoes? The Red plaid pumps are my favorite – they’re so totally festive and perfect for this season.
Am I obsessed with syrens (mermaids)? Yes. My last mermaid look was light & bright, but today’s mermaid is darker, and maybe slightly evil. This new partial mesh avatar is from Erare Project. I’ll just paste the info from the note card, so read below for all the details:

The are 8 avatars, that from head to tail create an underwater illusion of mystery and something special. The .erare.syren. includes mostly mesh items. You must have a mesh capable viewer to be able to use/see this product.
The tail portion of this system is RIGGED mesh, so editing it is not possible, please try the demo available before purchase to ensure the fit you need.
All NON-RIGGED pieces are MODIFIABLE with re-sizer script included in the hair piece for easier adjustments.

I love this avatar so much, that I made a short video so you can see how it moves in-world with the included AO. I like this AO, but I also like the KH Mermaid AO by Sala Snook too. There are even more animations included with the KH AO, so you’ll probably want to pick up that one too, for even more Mermaid animations fun!
These photos were taken at La Reve, my friend Lash’s sim. It’s private access now, but it used to be public. When I’m a mermaid, I underwater live here, she just doesn’t know it.
What other avatars do you want Erare Project to make in the future?
In my last post, I mentioned Luxe Box and wasn’t sure if I would join. I ended up falling asleep that night and missing the deadline to sign up. Now that I’ve seen the products showcased on everyone else’s blog, I must say it was “worth it” for the $1,000L price tag, if you don’t mind an eclectic mix of styles and quality. Most seemed happy with the products offered, but was unsure if they would buy a blind box again with a possible price increase. Even though some of my favorite brands participated in this round, their items would not have been enough to entice me to buy the entire box. I am sure that many people who bought the box wishes there were previews!!
As I mentioned in my last post, designers want to know how much they will make before selecting the products to send. I noticed that once the items were sent out, people complained gave feedback, then designers made changes and sent out even more options. Keep giving feedback, it works!
Consumers (aka people who spend money) always have the upper hand in SL, unless you choose to play by their (aka people who want to earn money) rules. How can you get previews of Luxe Box? Don’t join the group until the very last-minute. I propose waiting until the 14th of June to join. The longer you wait, the more likely it is that designers and organizers will release preview pics of their products to entice you. After all, you have the money and they have products to exchange for money.
