Greetings from the Second Life mobile app! Second Life is in the works to release a mobile app possibly within this year. The app will be accessible to both IOS and Android users. My experience on the iPhone 14 Pro has been quite smooth thus far. If you hold a Premium Plus membership, you’re eligible to be a part of the testing crew. Become a tester.
Currently, I’m checking out the features using my alt account since my primary account has the Premium Lifetime membership and the alpha testing is reserved for Premium Plus members. The mobile app’s functionalities are somewhat limited at the moment, but I’m hopeful that we’ll see it expand with more options soon.

Don’t mess with Alice 🙂
Kavar sent me the best Alice costume today, it’s from Bowtique (by Jellyroll)! If Alice isn’t your thing, there’s also the Madhatter costume, and Queen of Hearts costume, only $150L each. I’m madly in love with these inexpensive costumes, I may buy all of them. My Alice costume includes the dress, shoes, bow, stockings, knife, and two different versions (bloody/clean).
When you’re wearing the stockings and shoes together, you may have to adjust the shoes a bit, like I had to, so that it fits perfectly around the socks. This is not a SLink feet or SL default feet item, the stocking is mesh and already shaped like a foot.
I’m enjoying this bloody version much more than I should, let’s just say I felt inspired 🙂 Someone asked me to cover Halloween costumes, unfortunately I don’t know of any great ones for guys, but you can never go wrong with a Minotaur avatar, or the Wolfkin. I love both!

I went Hello Kitty Village last night, to see my childhood favorites interpreted digitally. The 4 regions are stamped with Hello Kitty everywhere, free rides if you can bear the lag, and a few shopping items made by Astralia, in collaboration a brand in real life called JimmyPaul. You can read all about the event on the AstraliaWorld site.
Some time ago, Astralia received licensing rights from Sanrio to sell Second Life content (decor, clothing) with Sanrio characters on them, with the most recognizable character being Hello Kitty. Brands in real life have cashed in on the appeal of Hello Kitty & friends for decades, so it wasn’t a surprise to see it eventually make its way into the virtual world.
The Astralia x Hello Kitty 45th anniversary event runs from November 1st – November 15th. This theme-park like event is packed with rides, photo-op places, and some clothing & decor by Astralia. You can pay the event $799L for a souvenir picture, or you can be like me and take your own selfie! I saved money by buying nothing at this event, which wasn’t hard, since I don’t like plastic kiddy colors.
