Jeans with a great ass and nice sculpted attachments are hard to come by. I have a few favorite brands in SL because they do great low-waist jeans and offer the “skinny” sculpted legs (cos I hate everything else). I’m adding Decoy to my list of places for awesome jeans because these new Dana 76 jeans are to die for!
Each pair of jeans also includes Bootcut, Bootcut Flats, Skinny, or Skinny Flats sculpted leg attachments. I like that a “flats” version is included because it’s such a pain when the sculpted prim leg attachment is too long for flats, and I love wearing ’em! Shown here are just a few of the colors available:
Yep, they look good from the front or the back. I should have worn a top but I couldn’t find anything that would go well with my wings today. I’m sorry guys, this post is NSFW! 😛
The jeans may not be out yet, so be sure to keep an eye out for these @ Decoy!
Help me! I’ve been Cubed by this adorable new pose prop from Glitterati. This is a mesh cube, scripted to texture change 9 different colors and 10 poses. I stretched the box to fit me, cos I think I am a lil’ bit too tall for the original cube size.
I won’t be taking off this My Bunny Band from monso any time soon! The one I am wearing is available for free (on the lucky board) at Bombi.
My Bag, from monso – Bamboo | Fish | Crane | Ggomsu
These bags are mesh, but they’re not scripted with any poses. They’re quite adorable though, and you’ll be able to attach them to your hand and wear with your own poses. Find them at Bombi, too.
What I’m Wearing:
Exile – London Rain (Vanilla)
One Bad Pixel – Babytux (Pink)
Monso – My Bunny Band (Sackdong)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve”
I was stumbling around SL this morning and I found this Cover (Paris) skin from LE MODE on sale for just $50L! This is part of the Weekend Fever event, and it includes a single Mint makeup in all 3 skin tones (Pale, Sunkissed, Tan). I didn’t really like the lips template, cos the arches on the upper lip is too pointy, I couldn’t get rid of it by lowering the shallow slider on my mouth at all. The skin tone is OK, depending on which Windlight setting you’re viewing it in. I worked with my Windlight setting a lot to make it less yellow.
The face is pretty cute and the brows are nice. So despite the stuff that I didn’t like about it, I thought this was a pretty great deal, especially cos of the low price.
Culture Shock will begin on May 1st and runs through May 22nd. Each brand participating in Culture Shock will donate 50% or 100% of their proceeds to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
I’ve created an outfit featuring some new Culture Shock items from Fishy Strawberry and ORTA. I just love this new Country Life Shirt from Fishy Strawberry. It is slightly sheer, and can be worn by itself or with a bra underneath for a more modest look. I’ve just decided to wear it as-is, cos I love the sheer look and I don’t mind a lil’ peekage? LOL.
Check out this gorgeous new Natasha Bag from ORTA. Each Natasha Bag comes with Gold or Silver metal option, and is scripted with hold poses for both Left and Right hand, shoulder, and elbow.
Aren’t these Gigi Balloons from Legna the best? I love that these numbers come with two really nice poses for each hand. Even though the balloons state they are no modify, it actually allowed me to modify one, and I tinted it a light shade of blue. You can also rez these numbers for any occasion.
This is meant to be an early Happy New Year post, but I also wanted to share my reflections on last year. Overall, I feel I had a good year in Second Life! I upgraded from Lifetime Premium to Lifetime Premium Plus, which cost a significant amount, and at first, I was genuinely excited. However, as the year progressed, I began to worry about the longevity of Second Life.
I was enthusiastic about the mobile app when I tried it early this year as part of the alpha program; however, I now think it’s completely hopeless. This Open Letter to Linden Lab clearly outlines why I don’t believe we will ever see a usable mobile app.
I had a lot of fun in the Aurelias region with my friend Sparkle. Still, I ultimately decided to pull the plug when I recognized that the economy and the state of Second Life might be uncertain in 2025. It was actually an easy decision; when faced with uncertainty, it is prudent to eliminate an unnecessary expense. As much as I enjoy having a whole region, I also appreciate the freedom that comes with not having to maintain one. I told Sparkle not to let me bring the region back next year, even if I have new ideas and want another one. 2025 is not the year for significant land projects.
What am I looking forward to in Second Life in 2025? I am looking forward to Philip Linden changing his outfit. Additionally, I am eager for the next Linden Home theme, although Linden Lab has gone silent on that topic! Will it ever come? Who knows. It has been so long since the next theme was chosen via a poll that I almost forgot we were promised Alpine and Tiki as the next two themes. I am also looking forward to cleaning my inventory; right now it stands at 77k, but I know I can reduce it to 50k if I put in some effort.
What are you looking forward to next year? Let me know in the comments!
What is a Bloom Doll, you ask? They’re fun, they’re cute, and SL residents looooove them. These Bloom Dolls are inspired by RL Blythe dolls, which I collected before discovering SL. Similar to Blythe, the SL version also has a large head, small waif-like body, color-changing eyes and so much more!! I actually like my SL Bloom doll more, cos she can “share” Gogo’s massive inventory.
The eyes are scripted to open/close, change eyes colors, and show/hide eyelids, and show/hide eyelashes.
Bloom Petit Shape | Bloom Girl Shape | My shape
A lot of SL residents wear the entire package, but you can wear your Bloom Doll (head) with any shape as long as it looks good 🙂
There are several different basic Bloom Dolls to choose from, they have different skin tones and makeups, but they’re all pretty similar. I purchased the Boo Bloom package (worn in this post).
Curio released two skins this weekend, and that was so unexpected and exciting. I’ve been anticipating a new Curio release for quite some time, so I was beyond happy that there’s two new faces to choose from.
The first one is Autumn, which features a classic Curio look that we’ve all come to love. I really like this face and especially the lips. Some changes that you’ll notice with this new release is that there are now two brows options (Blonde and Brown), and only 8 makeups (not 16 like before).

Curio – Autumn Brows
This is the Yum face, which I think of as the “new” face cos it has a different face shading, a totally new nose and a different set of eyebrows. I’m not sure I am a fan of the dark nostrils (I’m picky like that!) and I think the nose looks wiiide on my avatar, so I decreased the width a lot to compensate. However, from what I’ve read on Plurk, people seem to really like this nose, dark nostrils and all, so I may be alone in this opinion, booo.
I do think this skin may work better on darker tones (Sundust and beyond), so give it a try! These lips are flawless and to die for!

I’m curious to know what people think about the new changes to the fatpacks (two brows vs two different makeups). Do you guys like the changes? Do you like the new nose?
