Check out this Naughty hairband and Naughty Staff from AtomicBambi. I like how these accessories gave new life to an old Halloween costume. I’ve been meaning to blog the Gliterratti posing garage for days now — isn’t it darling ahem, totally bad ass?
The Glitteratti Garage has 20 built-in poses, 10 for male and 10 for female. The garage includes everything shown in the picture and additional accessories (bags, crates, tires) if you want to add more.
Sasawe Capalini, one of the creators of Stiletto Moody shoes has decided to sell them under his own label. I guess this is what happens when sweatshop designers feel that they have not been compensated properly. These shoe are identical to the ones sold at Stiletto Moody, but are priced cheaper and with a different label.
This situation totally confuses me! The facts are:
1. Stiletto Moody contracted Sasawe Capalini to create shoes for her label.
2. It’s perfectly within his right to resell these under his own label because… HE MADE THEM. Unless they have a contract stating otherwise.
3. They’re both ripping off Christian Louboutin designs.
I wonder if we will be seeing more shoes from Sasawe Capalini — perhaps the same exact ones produced for Stiletto Moody shoes but cheaper?

I’ve waited forever for Tetra to update the Bella dress to include LaraX, and finally, it happened last week. This dress is my favorite item from Tetra, so I’ve been hoping for this update so I can wear it again. I dislike having to switch bodies back and forth, which means a lot of my inventory for Maitreya Lara remains unworn until they release the LaraX update. Eventually, I’ll just end up deleting those items. When a brand doesn’t revisit their previously released items that are still good, I find myself moving on from that brand.
Currently, I’m silently boycotting another brand in Second Life for this very reason. They released a dress that I love, then brought it back in a special limited edition color. The following year, they added the LaraX version of that dress but ignored the special edition color, leaving it without an update. A few months later, they released it again as a Halloween hunt item, complete with blood splatter, but again, they opted not to revisit the special edition color. I have decided to boycott them until they correct this oversight. I know you might be thinking, “But Gogo, you paid a dollar for that dress; designers won’t work for free!” However, I don’t believe I’m being entitled. They have released this dress four times now, three of which included LaraX. Why are they ignoring the only color I truly love? When brands put in a little effort to update previous items, they reap the rewards of being able to sell it again to even more customers, even if some customers do benefit from the free update. Even previous customers can show it some love by wearing it again and giving the brand free marketing.
This is just one of many random reasons I am choosing to boycott something in Second Life. Let me know in the comments if you’re currently boycotting anything, and why!

I want to hug this new Little White Treehouse from elefantu. This is the cutest structure I have seen in awhile, and I just love that the one room house is built around PINK trees!! This treehouse comes furnished with books, a chandelier, and seating areas (with poses).

Zooby has just released their very first Mesh Avatar, and it is a cute lil’ cat! Each mesh cat avatar comes with a HUD to control eye colors, sounds, and movements. I wasn’t expecting this cat to be so realistic, but when I wore the avatar and the HUD, my avatar transformed into the most realistic cat I’ve seen in SL. The mesh sculpts combined with movements really made it come alive.
I’m particularly fond of this White Mesh Cat — but you can also get Ginger and Black color. The Black cat would be so perfect for upcoming Halloween, and it’s such a cutie!
The HUD lets you choose between 8 different movements — Nap, Clean, Walk, Run, Eat, Play, Sit, and Jump.
Since this is a cat avatar that you wear, you won’t be able to rez this or cuddle it yourself. This cat avatar is perfect for role-playing a cat or being someone else’s cat.
