These new hairstyles from Truth are so cute I want to hoard them all to myself, but they’re out at both Truth Hair sims and also on the new SL Marketplace.
I’ve noticed that with shadows enabled, some alpha hair prims are losing detail 🙁 I think my graphics card can’t really handle it, even though I can enable shadows, it’s not perfect. So, if you see anything ‘off’ with the hairstyles in my shadow pics, please just assume that it’s my PC being crap.
Everyone should buy an advertisement from me so I can upgrade to a new graphics card and challenge myself with better pictures. 😛

When I blogged about the new SL username, I couldn’t register “Gogo” because the registration screen told me it was taken! I couldn’t locate the name in search under People either, so I figured it was gone for good. Well… it wasn’t gone. I tried to register it again today and guess who owns Gogo now?! ME! I guess the system was either busy or whoever registered Gogo didn’t bother to click the activation link.
So to the person squatting “Gogolita” – screw yourself. 🙂 They have hidden that name from search now, lol.

Moving to New Zindra, Gaeta 1 Continent Closing
Even though I rezzed in Second Life in 2006, the first 13 years of my SLife were spent on private regions. I bought my first region in my first year, so mainland was never something I paid much attention to. I didn’t even get Premium until I got my first Bellisseria home on April 15, 2019. Ever since then, I’ve been buying mainland here and there, holding snow land, bidding on auctions trying to get beach land, all of it. I love land. I don’t always love mainland chaos, but I love nice waterfront land enough to keep dealing with it.
So when I read the post about Gaeta 1 closing, I’m not even going to lie, my first thought was where the hell is Gaeta 1? Then I kept reading and saw they’re offering size for size replacement parcels and will work with owners to find something comparable. The second I read that, I went straight over there and bought land.
Gaeta 1 continent in Second Life If owning land there is my ticket into the new Zindra continent, then I bought my ticket and I’m ready to move.
There’s a town hall Monday, April 20 at 11am SLT, so I’m hoping they give real details then. For residents like me that can move instantly, I hope Linden Lab lets us rush in and claim spots first. I’m not going to waste anyone’s time going back and forth for weeks. Just give me what was promised, a comparable parcel. Every piece of land I bought on Gaeta 1 is waterfront, so yes, I expect waterfront back.
What makes this fun for me is I remember when Bay City launched, and I remember Horizons too, but I wasn’t Premium back then. Now I am, and I am readyyyyyyyy.
The Adult land part does not bother me at all. I’m an adult. I also don’t think everyone is about to throw up sex clubs all over the ground. I think a lot of people will do homes, gardens, cute builds, and nice parcels like anywhere else. What I do hope for is some kind of covenant. No ugly visible ban lines, no giant prim walls killing views, no trash in the sky. Let’s start this continent off right.
This is not a fashion post, but I still need to say go get the new Margot tee from ISON. I wasn’t even going to buy it until I saw they were giving a free print HUD with any color pack. The prints are cute, it got me immediately, and now I own it.

I’ve always thought of my avatar as petite, but I guess I am NOT! LOL
I asked Mochi if she would take a picture with me to compare our size, and honestly, I have never noticed how much taller I am. Maybe because usually when I see her, she’s wearing shoes and I’m barefoot? But what a total surprise, I am not as petite as I thought!
However, I know there are some people out there that towers over me, so I’m going to call myself petite and people who are smaller super petite. 😛

If I really felt like the good outweighed the bad with the person I often give second and LOL maybe 3rd chances. But once I am done I AM DONE!
I’m right there with Lizzie. I kinda weight how much good versus how much bad they have done to me. Also saying sorry goes a long way with me. But once its over its over. I never ignore anyone, but I just kinda stop associating with them.
I tend to forgive and forget until one day, they do something extremely malicious, insensitive, harmful, unprovoked, and/or manipulative to me or someone important to me that I have no more excuses to justify why I bother with that toxic person. Purge it like a bad no transfer outfit.
I won’t tolerate disrespect or disloyalty, and will tend to walk as soon as I see a hint of it. This whole culture, particularly online, of being as cruel, hateful, and apathetic as possible, because it’s ‘soo cool and emo-chic’ gets under my skin. I guess I’m too old. I don’t waste a word on on the offender, unless it involved hurting someone I love, in which case it’s good for a polite, but deft verbal filleting. *twitch* =)
