This is a great week for new hairstyles!! Shag and Tiny Bird both of new releases out and they’re quite adorable.
I’m wearing the Shag Under My Thumb and Just Like Heaven style in Dark Blonde.
Tiny Bird released a short cute style called Love Love Love, which I Love love love!!! I’m also wearing the Looking for Astronauts style in Vanilla, too. I’m not sure I get why the braids are tied in the front, so if it’s pop-culture reference, I’ve totally missed the point. It’s interesting though!
How did I even wear skins before tattoo layers? One of the perks of being friends with Izzie is that I can suggest ideas for tattoo fixes or simply ask her to fix something on the skin, and she always does it amazingly well. While I jokingly call her Dr. Izzie, she has certainly earned that nickname for her remarkable ability to improve faces in Second Life.
I really like this Felt skin from Glam Affair. To me, the complexion is one of the best I have seen this year. I like everything about it, except for the lips, which appear uneven and are shaded more heavily on one side. Thus, I asked Izzie to take a look and work her magic. As always, after layering on a collection of Izzie’s tattoo layers, I began to feel the skin is more like Gogo. Currently, I am wearing Izzie’s Eye Fix, along with a custom Upper & Lower Lip Shadow Concealer, Nostril Lightener, Blush/Contour Remover, and Chin Shadow Concealer.
I think Glam Affair is delivering some of the most stunning 2k BoM skins available right now, many of them can be worn as they are. However, I genuinely enjoy customizing with BoM tattoo layers to suit my personal preferences, and I’m sure lots of Second Life residents feel the same way. The latest round of the Anthology event has just opened, brimming with summery delights! There are so many tempting accessories and makeups this time around. I couldn’t resist dashing straight for the Asuna Sunglasses from BONDI and the Tifa Sandals from C’est La Vie. Make sure to check out the shopping guide on Seraphim.
For today’s look, I’ve paired my Anthology treasures with the stylish Sonya Sweater & Top from Tetra. Tetra always delivers immaculate creations, so I typically don’t scrutinize the mesh quality. However, this time I noticed a few issues—the back of the sweater wasn’t rigged quite right, with some odd breaks around the back and arms in standard poses. This is a good reminder that, no matter how much you trust a brand, it’s always wise to demo and inspect an item from every angle.
All the photos in this post were taken using a PBR viewer with minimal editing. I simply cropped the images and added a subtle blur to the background. With the current conversation around overly processed SL photos, fueled by AI enhancements, I prefer to keep my editing minimal. Due to time constraints, I spend only a minute or two on each photo, primarily focusing on cropping and saving the file.

Okay, today I wanted to blog about an accessory I saw on Flickr, but I couldn’t teleport to the event cos it was over. I tried to find it at the main store, but the owner showed up so it was a bit awkward. Do you guys teleport away really fast when the store owner shows up, or do you stick around shop? I teleported away before I could find it, so I’ll just blog about something else. Something that you also can’t get… blahhh…..
This new Studded Heart Clutch from LaGyo, is from last week’s Fifty Linden Friday event. Although the items are cheap, the FLF event is way too short (just 24 hours), so I don’t really cover it anymore. I find that once I do find time to blog the item, it’s already gone from the store, or the price is no longer $50L.
This Studded Heart Clutch is amazing, if you do have one, don’t you just love it? A HUD is included to change color and two metal options.

A little birdie told me that LeLutka will be releasing this new Natasha skin very soon (probably this weekend), so I know fellow skin addicts are just as excited as I am. I think this face is great, and the lips are similar to Lola, one of the most popular LeLutka faces. I personally like it a bit more than Mila, because the lips are smaller and the texture is just perfect.
The Natasha skins only comes in four skin tones (Pearl, Hush, Golden, Walnut) cos this is suppose to be a lighter skin (the base brow is light Brown). If you prefer darker brows, any of the brows tattoos released last week will work perfectly with it. Have you noticed that LeLutka has new skin tones? Older LeLutka skin tattoos will not match perfectly with these new tones — so you need to wear the right cleavage and brows tattoo for your skin.

This is not really related to my skin review, but I thought I would mention a quick little Gorean Public Service Announcement by Elle Couerblanc. I’m not a fan of STICKY BOOBS. Natasha doesn’t have it, thank god. Ladies, if you must wear cleavage enhancers, make sure you’re wearing a bra or some type of ‘supporting’ garment so it doesn’t look like your boobs are stuck together in an unnatural way. Please please please read the article if you need visual examples! 🙂
AtomicBambi is releasing this new Imani skin this weekend. This skin comes with light/red/dark brows, glossy/non-glossy lips, freckles/non-freckles and 10 makeups. This makes a total of 120 skins in a single fatpack. Whoa.
If you’re a fan of the Lovey skins from years ago, you’ll love Imani. The first thing I noticed right away on this skin is the pouty heart-shaped lips (much like Lovey’s) and great eye makeup. The dark brows are too thick for me, the light brows is ok but a little too thick and faded compared to the rest of the face. The skin texture is fantastic, though. You should definitely try these out if you’re looking for a skin that is a good mix of hand drawn and photo-sourced — I think it’s somewhere in the middle.

Shopping for men’s fashion in Second Life can be punishing, can’t it? Events that start out aimed at men get taken over by women’s fashions. Lack of clothing available for your favorite mesh body. It’s hard to even find a decent beard set to wear (shoutout to Wavie Haller for coming through with Valiant, though). You start to wonder if you should just switch to a female av instead.
Or maybe you’ve got an SO who doesn’t want to/is terrible at dressing himself. You’re tired of this guy looking like he crawled out of 2010; he needs to update his av asap.
