I think the scripted attachments were causing me to crash constantly. We both had Zooby Babies on + the stroller + our sculpted clothing.
I totally need a better PC!!

AOHARU released an adorable Ruffle Romper outfit in floral patterns and solid colors. I knew Wilma would pick up a few for herself so I invited her to snap some pictures with me for my rompers post!
This Ruffle Romper also includes a pair of longer pants (similar to capris) so you’re getting two styles in one!
Last time when I posed with Wilma, I mentioned how difficult it was to find poses for two girl friends so Annah Whitfield sent me a few from her shop. I’m using the Best Friends pose from StoRin and it’s just perfect. I didn’t know StoRin had so many friends poses, so they’ll come in handy when I need ’em for blogging in the future.

Hair Fair is an event that I look forward to each year, for many reasons. I have attended Hair Fair for years, and remember stumbling upon it as a new resident way back in 2007. It’s the place to be if you’re a hair creator and a hair lover. I love hair, it’s easily the top 3 things I own the most of in my inventory.

The man in this picture could be anything. He’s got fair skin and light eyes. His long hair are put into braids, and his cheekbones are prominent. Even if he didn’t match the race you think I said he was, he is that because I deem him to be.
He is me–as a male, in the grid. I created him to be more creole-looking than my female counterpart, which I still think doesn’t look that Caucasian to me. Before I donned a mesh head with either gender identity, my avatar resembled my grandmother–a creole woman who would probably cut her hair short and dye it bright red if she were the age I am now.
Even if I change bits of myself in the game, I carry my heritage with me. I know other black users who along with me, mix and match hair, eye colors, and skin tones. We don’t do it to escape–but some black users do. I don’t fault them for it because I understand the grid isn’t very tolerant of us.
Second Life has been used as a means of escape for so many people. In the end, though, we’re just that–people. It’s inevitable that things like civil rights would rear their head here after a while. MALT Fashions has such cute casual clothing but the "After 5ive" line of dresses are my favorite. I was a MALT virgin up until today, since I have never even heard of the brand before. When I got there, of course I had to tp my friend Torie and for some reason we thought it was a good idea to buy matching dresses and take pictures 😛
…and wear matching hair and skin!

I haven’t reviewed a new skin for some time, cos I felt like my skin reviews were mostly unappreciated, and my last skin review caused a bit of drama (you can read it here, and here). However, I’m giving skins review another go, and will try to blog some brands that aren’t blogged a lot elsewhere.
This will be my 5th and 6th skin review this year and both of the skins are from Mother Goose! I’ve worn Mother Goose skins before, but I haven’t done a proper review of this brand for some time.
Mother Goose – Nigel
The Nigel skin from Mother Goose comes with Dark brows, 8 makeups, teeth version, cleavage on the skin, and some eye liner & eyelash tattoos. I think this face is cute enough, but Mother Goose does not offer a lot of options. I prefer skins with lipsticks on the tattoo layer so I can mix-and-match with my favorite makeup tattoos. I also don’t like having permanent cleavage! I prefer my boobs not “sticky” all the time.
Mother Goose – Linda
The Linda skin is really cute, and comes with all the same options as the Nigel skin. I like the Light brows on this skin, and the lipstick colors are amazing. Again, I wish these lipsticks were on the tattoo layer, so I can wear it with some of my other skins!
