There’s something so charming and sexy about this outfit, that I’m glad Evangeline Miles made a special Valentine’s Day edition. From now until February 15th, the Valentine’s Day Ariel is on sale at 50% off.
It’s not too late to gift this to your favorite someone… 🙂
Elate has just released the adorable Betsy high waist skirt in a bunch of colors!! I'm pairing this skirt with an adorable Armidi (Gisaci) Evelyn Square Cut Blouse and the Donna Flora Media set in Quartz.
Lara Skins is a brand I normally wouldn't recommend, because the body is pretty awful. But I tried on the new Sandra skins and they have incredible makeups and a cute face (the body is still fug). But you get 5 makeups for $2,500L and that is an incredible deal!
This brand is actually getting better with each release. The previous skins were grainy, the lips are badly done, and actually there seems to be some inconsistencies from one face to the next.. but she tries? I was pleasantly surprised with Sandra, if only the body had better nipples & breast shading. I'll spare you the image, but tp to Lara Skins and grab the demo yourself. There's also a free "Aida" skin in the shop that is nice.
What I'm Wearing:
Maitreya – Zoe hair Lara Skins – Sandra pink Pale Armidi/Gisaci – Evelyn Square Cut Blouse (White) Donna Flora – MEDEA set quartz Elate – Betsy Skirt (assorted colors)
Christmas in SL is just so exciting. Designers are giving us gifts — how amazing is that? All of my favorite brands have something new, something free, or something very cheap for sale, and that makes me one happy girl.
I’ve been wishing for a new Laqroki skin and got my wish when Laqrki released the new Vilda skin and also sent out a group gift!! The group gift is a free Vilda skin with holiday makeup in all tones. I’m sure you know about it, but if you don’t, it is free in the subscribo!
The new Vilda skin is just everything I’ve always wanted rolled into one skin. I like that this can be both a Blonde skin or a Brunette skin cos it comes with two brows option.
I’m wearing Vilda in Fair tone:
(all 10 makeups)
I found the perfect comfy Christmas Day outfit to lounge in and try on all the newness in SL. The new mon tissu Lollia Tank Top and Balcon Lounge Pants are so comfy and goes perfectly well with my new Maitreya Scrunched PrimSocks. You don’t need shoes when you’re lounging around 🙂
My new Adelie hair from Exile keeps me warm with a color-changing beanie!
Hello everyone! The lastest Winter collection Belgravia and Leverocci includes some very adorable pieces of clothing and accessories. It was difficult to pick which color of the Alice Coat to wear, but I finally settled upon this Blue color. To accessorize, I chose Red accessories, to match the Belt and Sleeve detail on the coat.
Leverocci – Flatiron Heels & Messanger Bag (the incorrect spelling is deliberate, I guess?)
The Alice Coat from Belgravia also included a HUD to color change Metal, Leather Sleeves, Belt, Sleeve Detail, and Fabric Sleeves. I Â found this coat challenging to wear cos the bottom of the coat is very tight against my body, and it was almost impossible to find any mesh pants to fit underneath. Most texture pants/skirts will work perfectly fine, or some very small mesh pants with a low waist.
What I’m Wearing:
LOGO – Infinity Chloe Hybrid Mesh Avatar
Truth – Chynna (Swedish)
Belgravia – Alice Coat (XS) Olympian
Mon Tissu – Westbury Mini (Airline Blue)
Leverocci – Flatiron Heels (Red)
Leverocci – Messanger Bag (Large) Red
Gos – Custom Eyeware v3.3 Intuition
Maubray – Man on the Moon earrings (Silver)
Groovygirl has 5 hairstyles at Hair Fair, and a freebie style for everyone who stops by the booth! This brand is new to me, but there are already some cute hairstyles that I'm totally going to recommend that people must get!!
[ Groovygirl – Azerie | Sophie | Mari ]
All Groovygirl hair features a resize menu, which is kind if a pain to adjust hair. This might be good for new & inexperience players who prefer a menu but most people would like to resize/mod hair themselves using the traditional SL menu. But try the demos, if it's cute and you think you can work with the resize menu, buyyyy it!

Recently, some Second Life creators have started banning customers from their stores. Not for breaking any rules, not for stealing content or abusing permissions, but just for doing something completely normal: buying an item, wearing it, taking a photo, and sharing it.
I came across a post about a designer banning a blogger from their store after the blogger posted a photo of a product they bought and used AI to enhance it. This wasn’t about stealing or breaking any rules. It was simply a customer enjoying a product, sharing their creativity, and getting punished for it.
The reason? Some creators are worried that edited or AI-enhanced photos might somehow be used to train machine learning models that could steal their designs. But that just doesn’t hold up.
Generative AI doesn’t work like that. These models aren’t trained on a handful of pictures from someone’s Flickr or blog. They rely on massive datasets with millions of images pulled from all over the internet. No one is out there training an AI on your avatar’s jacket from a single snapshot. And even if that were possible, individual users can’t control how the internet works. You can’t blame someone who supported your brand for what tech companies might do with public images.
And here’s the irony: every brand pointing fingers at customers for supposedly “feeding” their images into AI models is likely doing the same thing without realizing it. If you’ve ever uploaded your ad to social media, that content could be used in large-scale AI datasets. If you’re using certain creative software, chances are those platforms reserve the right to use user content to improve their tools. Even platforms like X (Twitter) allow their AI to train on user data, including posts and interactions. The line between what’s safe and what’s vulnerable is much blurrier than some creators want to admit.
It’s also worth noting that the most successful brands in Second Life aren’t doing this. They’re not banning their customers for sharing their outfits. They’re not worried about AI filters or photo enhancements. In fact, most of them seem to understand that when people enjoy their products and post about them, it’s a good thing. It helps their brand grow, builds community, and keeps their work relevant. They’re thriving because they trust and respect their customers.
Then there’s the fairness aspect. A person spends their money on your product. They wear it, they like it, they post a photo. That’s free promotion. That’s literally what most creators want. To then ban them for it? It’s not just backwards, it’s insulting. It sends the message that your customers are only welcome as long as they do everything exactly your way.
And honestly, this doesn’t feel like it’s really about AI. It feels like it’s about control. Some creators want to decide who gets to wear their items, how they look in them, and what kind of aesthetic is acceptable. If someone edits a photo in a way you don’t like, or doesn’t fit your brand vibe, suddenly they’re out. That’s not protecting your work.
Second Life has always been about creativity and self-expression. People come here to explore identities and ideas they might not get to explore elsewhere. Fashion plays a huge part in that. It brings people together, helps them feel seen, and makes the world feel more alive.
But when creators start turning on the very people supporting them, it hurts everyone. In the end, it’s not just the creators or the customers who are affected, it’s the whole community.
So if you’ve been banned just for wearing something you bought and sharing a photo of it, you didn’t do anything wrong. You supported a creator, and they turned their back on you. That shouldn’t be okay.
Let’s support creators who genuinely appreciate their customers. The best creators understand that the relationship doesn’t end with a sale. They value the creativity of their customers, celebrate when people share their work, and recognize that customer engagement is part of the creative process. In a community like Second Life, respect and collaboration should go both ways. When we support creators who respect us, everyone benefits and grows together.
And if you’re a brand that doesn’t mind if your customers use AI tools to edit or enhance their photos, I’d really love to hear from you. Feel free to drop a comment and let people know. You deserve support too.
IBIZARRE recently released a pair of Crinkle Zipper Leggins that caught my eye. I love the texture on these (featured in center outfit) and they include zippered and non-zippered option, along with gorgeous sculpted cuffs. A quick glance around the IBIZARRE shop shows a vast range of styles and outfits ranging from casual pieces to glam dresses.
IBIZARRE has been around for a long time now (Anyusha Lilienthal was one of the first renters on my sim last year) and I'm totally impressed at how much her design skills and shop has grown over the year.
