Bag Lady
Bag Lady has these gorgeous 'rl inspired' designer handbags & backpacks. I thought it was pretty well made and would be a fun addition to anybody's wardrobe. There are a few things that I would have liked to change, like the ability to turn off bling scripts (I was able to remove this manually on some modifiable bags), and all bags should be copy/mod or mod/no trans. The permissions are inconsistent, so when you're buying a back pack, clutch, or booty bag, please make sure it is the perm you'll be comfortable with.

There is a new Lara Hurley Skin out at CH1C’s birthday event, and it only has one makeup (neutral), three skin tones (Pale|Tan|Dark) and hair base option. Since I don’t wear other skin tones, I wish there were more makeups options, but this neutral face is a good base for tattoo makeups.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these new Imabee Olivia eyeshadows! This was created to match the Olivia skin from Imabee, but it will work with any skin in SL (it is transparent all around).
I just love piling on tattoo blush and eyeshadows! I’ll try to do another Minute Makeover post soon, cos I’ve found some pretty awesome new tattoo makeups.

Valentine’s Day festivities in Second Life are a joy, regardless of your virtual relationship status. As someone who’s happily hitched in the non-digital world, I’ve always roamed through this virtual landscape solo. Honestly, it’s never been an issue for me; I adore getting into the holiday spirit and dressing up for the occasion.
My exploration last year took me to the delightful Dunk & Hug a Linden & Mole Event, a first for me, and it was incredibly fun. Donned as a charming Victorian lady, I had such a wonderful time that I’m tempted to revive that persona for this year’s celebration. The allure of that period’s romantic charm is simply irresistible to me.

I broke my own “no gacha” rule today, cos I wanted the Pink Soap flavor, but I still didn’t get it after 30 tries! I KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN! Well, I ended up with a bunch of cool colors, and Sasy gave me Blood flavor and Stacie gave me the Pink Soap, yay! I’m a huge True Blood fan, so I needed Blood flavor, too.

I’m sick this week! 🙁 Not feeling well, so here’s a quick pic featuring something that looks like it belongs to the The Weeknd’s Party Monster. I love Party Monster because of its story. Much like Phaseone’s remix of Breakin’ Bread, it speaks of someone who starts out in power, but his surroundings quickly overwhelm him and become his undoing.

In my last post, I mentioned Luxe Box and wasn’t sure if I would join. I ended up falling asleep that night and missing the deadline to sign up. Now that I’ve seen the products showcased on everyone else’s blog, I must say it was “worth it” for the $1,000L price tag, if you don’t mind an eclectic mix of styles and quality. Most seemed happy with the products offered, but was unsure if they would buy a blind box again with a possible price increase. Even though some of my favorite brands participated in this round, their items would not have been enough to entice me to buy the entire box. I am sure that many people who bought the box wishes there were previews!!
As I mentioned in my last post, designers want to know how much they will make before selecting the products to send. I noticed that once the items were sent out, people
complainedgave feedback, then designers made changes and sent out even more options. Keep giving feedback, it works!Consumers (aka people who spend money) always have the upper hand in SL, unless you choose to play by their (aka people who want to earn money) rules. How can you get previews of Luxe Box? Don’t join the group until the very last-minute. I propose waiting until the 14th of June to join. The longer you wait, the more likely it is that designers and organizers will release preview pics of their products to entice you. After all, you have the money and they have products to exchange for money.
