I love “all-in-one” type things, they make slife easier. For example, the brilliant MudHoney Photobles takes 1 second to set up (rez-click-sit-done!) and I can pretend like I’ve spent hours setting up this cute little lusty bedroom scene.
I’m using the MudHoney ‘Rouge Getaway Photoble” which includes 3 single poses for males, 3 single poses for females, and 7 couples poses scripted into the box. Everything seen in the picture is also included in the rezzer. Isn’t it fabulous? Scripted rezzable things are a lazy fashionista’s best friend, so you have time for more important things 😛
Iris Ophelia has released these 5 Viewer 2.0 Runny Mascara Tattoos, they’re only available on XStreetSL, so click the link to purchase there. I have no idea why, I just love taking a pretty skin and throwing on messy makeups and other things. I like… regular makeups, dramatic makeups, stickers, blood, cuts, bruises, band-aids, etc. Creators of SL, make some!!! 🙂
Kookie has just released these Nyox boots; they come with the regular version (with invisiprims) and also an alpha version. These boots are gorgeous, check out the close-up! I think they go perfectly well with my favorite Bare Rose White Mist outfit.
This may be the classiest I’ve ever seen my avatar look! I love the new collection from Fishy Strawberry for Modavia Fashion Week. The Tie Neck Blouse (in Desert Sand) can be worn alone or with the matching Fluffy Open Cardigan. I like it worn all together, with the matching High Waist Pants, too.
I can’t wait for more colors of this collection from Fishy Strawberry! I love clothes that are elegant and photographs well.
I’m pairing this look with some new Dark Mouse jewelry, available at Jewelry Fair 2011. I liked the simple but beautiful Rever en Blanc set that includes Earrings, Bracelets, and a Necklace.
The Ivy Dress and matching Ivy Necklace that I’m wearing is from Elate! Both are available at Bees Through the Seasons 2.
I fell in love with these gorgeous plants from Cerridwen’s Cauldron, found on the Titan’s Hollow sim at Fantasy Faire. I bought some and planted them at Juicy sim, in front of cheLLe’s main store. If you guys pop by cheLLe, you’ll see my slightly crappy landscaping, but I tried!
January is all about cozy vibes and bodysuits. I tried on numerous bodysuits before settling on this adorable Ramona bodysuit and matching cardi from Littlefox. Everyone seems to be embracing bodysuits this month, but the reason I chose this one over the others is because I like the cleavage, textures, and colors it offers.
I love Rosé’s twin buns hairstyle from the APT music video. So when I saw that S-Club released the Pinky hairstyle, clearly inspired by Rosé, I immediately bought it. Although S-Club’s prices are on the higher side, at L$999 for fatpacks, I know I will wear this hairstyle frequently. If you do not opt for a fatpack at S-Club, unfortunately, you won’t get access to all of the hairstyle options or accessories.
This week I realized that I have matured because I no longer feel rage about anything in Second Life. X (Twitter forever) is all about AI. Meanwhile, on Bluesky, Second Life residents are making lists and expressing their concerns about AI usage. There are many issues to be upset about in life, but AI is not one of them for me. You may choose to be upset if you wish, but many brands in Second Life are employing AI to edit their photos and videos. They are also utilizing AI to generate textures and sell “art” at events. While I do not necessarily endorse these practices, I recognize that I cannot control other SL residents, nor can anyone halt progress. AI is innovative and here to stay. It can be integrated into our workflow without eliciting accusations of thievery. If you choose to boycott certain brands, I suggest doing so quietly. I myself boycott several brands for various reasons, but I do not feel the need to publicize my decisions.
Although I consider AI a fun tool to experiment with, and I have used it in the past to edit a photo or two, most of my images come directly from Second Life. It is quite evident that many skin designers are now using AI to enhance their skin advertisements. Proceed with caution, and be sure to demo everything before making a purchase.
What are your thoughts on brands that utilize AI to enhance their product photos or sell AI-generated textures? Let me know in the comments!
