BOOM has just released the Hope’s Tank top and matching Wei Shorts in a bunch of colors!! I’m wearing some from the Pastels pack and they’re so pretty. What I like about these two pieces is that they come with sculpted attachments that are easy to resize and they give it a more 3-D and realistic look. The Hope’s Tank top includes a sculpted bottom that has White lace or Black lace option. The Wei shorts includes the sculpted White ties, with a Plain, White Stripe or Black Stripe version.
The photos were taken at MALT’s lil park area. I looove having Khea as my neighbor, her sim has lots of scenic photo areas.
Once in a while, I dig into my sorted inventory to create my outfit of the day or the week, cos I don’t know when I will change my outfit next. My inventory is divided into sorted and unsorted. If it is sorted, then I’ve already worn it and blogged it. If it hasn’t been sorted, one of those two things didn’t happen yet, and I don’t want to forget about it.
My outfit today is actually inspired by the scene. My friend invited me to this winter sim a few days ago, when I was still wearing the summer romper from the last post. I went back to the sim to explore with proper winter clothing on, and now I feel that I can cross it off my list.
Do you try to match your look to the scene or try to stand out?
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Fuel Skin
LeLutka – Cat Hair
Monso – My Fur Hoody (White)
Teefy – Kelly Knotted Tank Top (Summertime)
Monso – My First Jeans (Black)
Ingenue – Alma Boots (Noir)
Have you ever wondered what AI thinks you could do to improve your Second Life face? I uploaded two photos to ChatGPT, front facing and profile, and asked what I could do to make my avatar’s face better. Surprisingly, it said my face was nearly perfect, but that my eyes were too big. Omg, were my eyes too big?
It actually gave me some helpful tips, so I nudged the sliders a bit here and there. One of the things I’ve always been concerned about is my profile. It has to be great. ChatGPT suggested making my chin protrude a little more and my lips protrude a little less.
Another critique ChatGPT had for me was that my usual lashes were too glam, too full. I dialed it back with a new set of wispy lashes, but I don’t think I care about that critique. I love thick full lashes!
This new Twirl hairstyle from Truth Collective is so sweet. It’s a relaxed style with a low ponytail. I’m always super excited when I see a hair from Litterbug, Truth’s real life daughter. She might be the youngest hair creator in SL right now? And her side gig is making real life money, probably better than most experienced creators. When your father is one of the best… it’s expected. I’m glad the hair legacy continues.
I also tried on the new Halcyon Maxi and Shorts from Tres Blah, and purposely picked the print that reminds me of porcelain plates. I love it. This delicate print is perfect for lounging around the house. Even though we’re heading into summer, I decided to dial back my skin tone from 004 back to 003, a lighter tone that reminds me of a porcelain doll too.
Do you play around with your style and change it up now and then? I like to bounce around between 2-3 skin tones and blondes or brunette. Let me know in the comments!
Every year, right before Thanksgiving, Black Friday deals start rolling in, both in real life and in Second Life. I always think to myself that maybe I should’ve bought less throughout the year, because by the time the sales arrive, I already have everything I wanted.
This year, I made a deliberate choice to buy slowly and only buy things I’ll actually wear right away. If you’ve been in SL as long as I have, you’ve probably bought everything twice or maybe five times already. I found the sweetest holiday accessories just by searching my own inventory. Most of what I’m wearing today isn’t new. Some pieces I bought years ago and never wore or blogged.
With how the economy is going in real life, even if you’re personally unaffected, it feels smart to scale back a little and get more joy out of what you already have or pick up items you truly want when they’re on sale, not just because they’re on sale.
The thing with Black Friday in Second Life is that it’s not that exciting anymore. Everything’s already on sale all year. Brands also exclude newer releases from the sale, sometimes the last three months of items, so there’s not much of a deal for anyone who shops often like I do.
I’m trying to have the longest Christmas ever in Second Life, so as far as I’m concerned, it starts now. The holiday season’s here, and I’m fully ready for twinkling lights and vacation.
CSR 2008 ends in TWO WEEKS!! Don’t miss out on some fabulous limited edition prizes, yours for free if you buy qualified items from participating shops. I’ve finally gotten around to stamping all my cards and it was easy except for the Black Knight sim, because they moved their kiosk to the middle of the sim :X I don’t like you, Black Knight! Grrr.. lol
I <3333 this Edelweiss Amelie dress! Helloooo hot Anime girl!
DP**YumYum** IttyBunny doll, so cute! I remember telling a couple of people that these dolls remind me of the popular Blythe dolls in real life. Don’t ask me about BLYTHE dolls unless you want a really long monologue about my collection. LOVE them.
My friends list on Plurk is such a good place to shop for items. I saw Gidge wear this BOUDOIR Butterfly Dress about a month ago, and I made a mental note to get it for myself. The dress is so dreamy!!!!!
I’m only wearing some of the flower attachments because I wanted a short cute look, but it also comes with this long luxurious flower skirt and a butterfly skirt (to be worn together). This outfit was originally full bright with some glow but I turned all of that off since I won’t wear full-bright clothing unless there’s a very good reason for it.
Visit BOUDOIR, there are some interesting designs here if you’re looking for something different.
Jetpack sent me the annual report for JuicyBomb, I totally look forward to this every year. Here it is: JuicyBomb 2013 Annual Report! It’s so nice to see my blogging efforts summarized and displayed in a festive fashion. I love fireworks! 🙂
Big thanks to the top commenters: Chantel Ashdene, Veronika Larsson (even though you’re totally insane, and was often rude to me), and Raven Serrurier!
Thank you so much for being the best blog readers on the grid!
A perfect and sexy beach outfit, looks really well made.
