I don’t usually enter photo contest, but this one sponsored by Linden Lab is really exciting! The theme is SLB10 Celebration (I think) and the prize is a Homestead with tier paid!!
How to Enter:
Between 12:01 A.M. (PDT) on June 3, 2013 and 11:59 P.M. (PDT), June 30, 2013, take a picture featuring the contest theme. Upload your image in .jpeg or .png format to the contest.
Submission Rules:
Contest participants are permitted to submit one (1) entry. Once an entry has been uploaded, you will be unable to modify your entry.
Community participants may only vote/Kudo one (1) entry. Using alts to vote is strictly prohibited.
Images must be free of text and logo, and no larger than 500×500 pixels in size.
Images should be unaltered (including by any external photo editing tool), except for image sizing.
Voting:
Community voting to select the image which best represents the contest theme begins on July 1, 2013, at 12:00 A.M. (PDT) and ends at 12:00 P.M. (PDT) on July 17, 2013.
Prizes:
One (1) winner will receive a Homestead Tier paid for four (4) months Two (2) runner ups will receive a Homestead Tier paid for two (2) months
Total Land Tier Awarded as Prizes: Eight (8) months
I said I wouldn’t buy regular Maitreya clothing anymore, but the Junbug sale is too good to pass up. To celebrate their 15th anniversary, everything in store is L$15, or L$14 for group members. I noticed that many items included the Maitreya body, so I made an exception and went on a shopping spree. I didn’t own any of these gowns before, so it was a win. I walked out with dozens of items, including some fancy formal gowns and a few more historical ones. These designs will be retired after the sale, and the sale can end at any moment, so you should definitely check it out!
I encountered a minor issue at the store; something I purchased didn’t deliver. It seems the vendors might have been set up incorrectly. For some reason, the Agnetha gown in Ivory refuses to deliver to me.

Pose Fair opens tomorrow! I had so much fun going around trying poses from brands I know, and also brands I’ve never heard of before. There are so many pose shops in SL!!
I’ve noticed that this year, there are lots of family (group & couples) poses, and also lots of kid poses! The kid poses, and kid-themed props are especially adorable! I wish they fit me 🙁

This month’s Collabor88 theme is Painted Desert, and I couldn’t be happier about this!! I’m boycotting Winter, and staying in the desert for the rest of the year. The warm desert colors is a nice change from rl’s dark days & dreadful weather.
My outfit today is lots of Gold & Red, to complement the gorgeous Marrakesh Oasis build from Barnesworth. If I live in the desert, I would probably trade in my preference for pastel colors, and go for more rich colors like Red, Gold, Purples, etc.

The problem is maybe when you don’t wanna change your feet size to 0 either but have a resize script or modify. When you detach your shoes to dive into the pool or whatever you’ve got minature feet which may not suit the rest of your body
Fortunately, I got the 50L promo boots on the Fifty Linden Friday before the release… the legs peeking through the boots issue irks me as well, so I’m glad I didn’t spend the full price. I got a ton of Friday hair and clothes and I love the stuff, so discovering this problem with the shoes was quite a big let-down.
Plus, it’s showing on my extra-thin RP shape and the usual chubby everyday one, so I really doubt it’s just a size 0 feet issue.
I love love love their shoes, but its very disappointing that they aren’t resize scripted or modify so I can’t wear them unless I change my shape. 🙁
You won’t really have to change your shape much to wear these, just set your feet to size 0?

No I do…my feet are size 0…but my body thickness affects how they fit me..its at 97 but it would have to be 30 or less for them to fit me.
I am forever amazed at the artistry of content creators in SL. These shoes are so well made they look like real shoes!
I agree with kitten, the shoes should have a resize script, when my avi moves my legs come through the boots. They’re nice though.
