Colabora88 starts today! It’s a low price sales event that happens monthly, with a new cycle starting on the 8th of every month. There doesn’t seem to be any “theme” to the items, except all the prices will somehow end in 8, like 88, or 188, etc.
Truth has a new hairstyle out and also *roots* hair texture (I’m not wearing it here) but it’s an exciting addition!
Let’s talk about this new Koketka mini dress. While I love the design, and the lace on one side (so sexy!), I think the dress itself is far too short. My cheeks show (and not in a sexy way) and the front…. let’s just say if you cam at certain angles, crotch-shots happens. If this dress was a tad longer, it would be perfect.

Tuli has also just released some cute & casual clothes. I’m wearing the worn denim capris paired with the wide collar shirt in White and wide sleeve shirt in Tangerine.
I wanted to wear a handbag with my look today but it was on the same attachment as my collar, so I lost that in the picture below. Still, I love this look and the white hair goes great with this skin tone.

Friday released four new hairstyles this week, and it’s pretty exciting for me. I just LOVE new hair – especially cos I feel that the Friday Blonde texture is really bright & happy. Friday hairstyles are pretty stiff, and would totally benefit from having a few flexi prims added to it – but the overall styles & texture is great. I like that they’ve added scripting to the hair accessories so I can easily select Pink from the menu without having to manually tint it myself.
Do you like my facial expression? LOL! It took me a couple of minutes to get just the right look and also make sure the eyes line up well with my prim lashes. Emotes are SO much fun, but such a pain when the prim lashes cannot move with it.

I’ve decided to pair this dress with the Bax Coen Black Patent Ankle Boots!! Normally I shy away from extremely spiky heels but these are great.

Hey guys! I just received my invite for High Fidelity and signed up for an account. Have you tried this Virtual World/Virtual Space, whatever it is? Many people will probably assume that it’s a newer Second Life, but I haven’t really heard much buzz from the SL community regarding migrating to this platform for creating or playing purposes.
Let me know in the comments if you have tried HiFi, and your thoughts on whether someone that’s basically just into SL fashion would enjoy this new platform.
As I wandered around Windhaven Estate, it occurred to me that the best type of land in Second Life is one that you aren’t paying for. I visited this estate because it was featured in the destination guide, and I stood in front of someone’s rental home for the photo. I didn’t have to pay for or landscape this space, yet I could still enjoy it, and that felt truly amazing. I don’t regret letting my region go, or only keeping Linden Homes, which is one of the most affordable options for virtual living in Second Life.
I have a deep appreciation for land, and I am often tempted to purchase it and develop something new. However, there are so many beautiful and desolate places in Second Life that are worth experiencing. Why not enjoy those for a while? I can find nearly every type of scenic background I desire simply by visiting the Second Life Destination Guide. I haven’t explored 99% of the regions listed there, and you probably haven’t either.

The problem is maybe when you don’t wanna change your feet size to 0 either but have a resize script or modify. When you detach your shoes to dive into the pool or whatever you’ve got minature feet which may not suit the rest of your body
Fortunately, I got the 50L promo boots on the Fifty Linden Friday before the release… the legs peeking through the boots issue irks me as well, so I’m glad I didn’t spend the full price. I got a ton of Friday hair and clothes and I love the stuff, so discovering this problem with the shoes was quite a big let-down.
Plus, it’s showing on my extra-thin RP shape and the usual chubby everyday one, so I really doubt it’s just a size 0 feet issue.
I love love love their shoes, but its very disappointing that they aren’t resize scripted or modify so I can’t wear them unless I change my shape. 🙁
You won’t really have to change your shape much to wear these, just set your feet to size 0?

No I do…my feet are size 0…but my body thickness affects how they fit me..its at 97 but it would have to be 30 or less for them to fit me.
I am forever amazed at the artistry of content creators in SL. These shoes are so well made they look like real shoes!
I agree with kitten, the shoes should have a resize script, when my avi moves my legs come through the boots. They’re nice though.
