Mmm….Mmmm…… three new hairstyles from Truth. Yes it’s all over the feeds, but nice things always are, aren’t they?

KA Designs released a shorter version of the Maxi Bohemian Dress! I find this new shorter length much more wearable and fits me better. Yay for being an SL “shortie”, even though I’m not even that short! Designers: stop making your long skirts for AMAZON MODELS!

Truth has just released two new hairstyles! I’m wearing Sydney, which comes with a texture-changing headband and also Emerald (below), both in Swedish Blonde. Yep, I’ve been playing around with Strawberry hair color for the past few days but I’m going back to Swedish cos I think it works great with this Laqroki Pearl skin. I like the ultra light hair combination with a Sunkissed skin tone.

And there’s also new Truth clothes! I like basic pieces and I like that they match my headband perfectly. I’m wearing the Truth ‘Halter Tanks’ and Truth ‘ LA Suedes pants. These pants have sculpted legs prims that parts slighly at the bottom to expose sexy shoes. You can see the full outfit here:

Jewelry Fair 2011 is open! I went to all four sims with my friend Melanie, and we had such a blast sim hopping and exploring the different themes. Each sim is designed to represent the four elements – Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. My favorite sims were Air and Water — they were so tranquil!
I stumbled into the CentoPallini booth (on the Air sim), and fell in love with a couple of the jewelry sets on display. This new-to-me brand has some beautiful jewelry sets with great designs and amazing textures. I picked up the Ivory Cross in Rosa (includes matching earrings), and matching Wood Bangles. The jewelry is no mod, but is scripted to resize.
I think my friend Wilma is addicted to T Junction t-shirts. She sent me another one last week with this quote on it, “I am the bitch you love to hate.” I don’t normally wear tacky shirts irl but I love this one in SL.
In SL, somebody somewhere thinks I’m a bitch. It doesn’t bother me at all, cos they probably deserved the Gogo bitch wrath 😛
Oh also, I bought the best dollarbie handbag this morning from JE*Republic. The La vie est belle bag (Valentine) edition is $1L and it’s glittery and sparkly and awesome.

There’s a designer that hates me — she doesn’t say it to my face but I see her making snarky comments here and there. Yet, I still buy her stuff, because I happen to like it. Should I stop buying it? Do you purchase items from designers you KNOW hates you and have publicly made negative comments about you?
It’s still January, so I can say “new year, new face!” I haven’t switched to a new mesh head, as I still adore Lelutka’s Billie Mesh head. However, I have decided to break away from the skin I’ve been wearing since November (which isn’t a long time) and try another brand. This is the Zoe skin from Avarosa. I think I will wear this skin for a while; it’s very cute with some tattoo enhancements.

I added plenty of extra face highlights to the skin from Izzie’s and Glam Affair. Glam Affair includes face gloss and face shine layers with some of their skins, which I add when I want some additional highlights.
I demo skins every single week, always open to changing my face if I find something I like better. It frustrates me that most skin brands do not offer a browless version for demo. Dear skin designers, I do not like thick brows. Sometimes I can imagine the skin without the default brows, other times I simply move on without purchasing.
If you want to wear this Avarosa skin and get a good match with Velour body skins, just disregard the skin tone name and judge the tone with your eyes. I am wearing the Velour body skin in Valley tone, while this head skin is in Snow tone. I also wore the Velour neck fix and tinted it to match.
Still feeling the sparkly new year vibes, I decided to don this Holiday Gown from Werx. I rarely find full PBR clothing appealing, but I thought the texture on this dress was exceptionally well done. It shimmers just the way I like it, and the colors are as expected. I’m ready to party in this dress, although it’s not the type of attire I can wear with underwear; we’ll pretend it’s still classy.
Markova Apparel has an awesome line of Summer wear. I looove bathing suits and bikini for all seasons in SL. Earlier this week Cubic Effect released a line of sculpted hats that are perfect for shielding your avatar’s face away from the SL UV-rays and look good doing it!
I love art and colors, so I really like this dress because its like wearing an abstract piece of paint splatter with awesome cleavage. Everything is adorable except I had to lighten the skirt prim attachment to match the dress better, and rotate it slightly, because it didn’t sit right on my av.
